    We have this wonderful arrangement in the attic for the outside cat. It’s going to be chilly tonite in the garage but the upstairs is warm. We even have stairs so he doesn’t have to bother himself using more circuitous routes to get upstairs. He’s back on the bale of hay downstairs, happy as a clam. Why bother? Reminds me of those Christmases where the kids had more fun playing with the boxes than what came in them.

    That little birdie up there, Stella, looks just like my little monsters! Poor Heather passed away recently, so we’ve been mourning. Haemish McBeth has had a real sad for his buddy, but he seems to be picking up a bit recently. We’ve had Haemish for over 20 years now, and have no idea how old he was when we got him. They usually live about 30 years if well cared for, and he is a healthy boy! We don’t know what happened to Heather, I just found him stiff and cold, gone to the Fiords An ex-parrot! He has deceased and gone to meet his maker.

    Thanks, Stella. He was the one that talked really well. We have had a lot of laughs over the years at the crazy things he would say! When DH would get up in the wee hours to search the fridge for a snack, he would whisper “Are ya hungry?” He also said “Pretty bad birdie” about 50 times a day! We sure do miss that little character.
