Good morning, lovely (still morning in the Panhandle where it’s 41 degrees and rainy). It’s 68 degrees in the hills of San Pedro, CA right now where this sunflower photo was taken…

I know James isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I love him…peaceful…always….regardless of his own troubled soul.

Looks like Point Betsie in the picture! Beautiful!
I saw yesterday in the v Daily Mail that President Trump will no longer allow women who are pregnant to come into the U.S. t I give birth unless they have a medical reason for it. I haven’t anything else about it but I sure hope it’s true. I was overjoyed to see that. Finally, someone does something about yet another class of welfare parasites.

That would be awesome, and as it should be. Also there should be no birthright citizenship for foreigners. Period. I hope President Trump addresses this in his second term.

They are talking about that on FOX and FRIENDS this morning. I think it is going to happen. Actually, I remember reading years ago that they weren’t supposed to be letting women in who were near birth and the doctors in other countries were falsifying their records saying that they were not as far along as they really are.

Yes, that’s Point Betsie!
From what I hear, the problem with the new ruling is that the consulates can’t ask a woman if she is pregnant. I don’t know if that’s true.

I’m over these people altogether.
How about if she looks pregnant she’s not allowed and the burden of proving she isn’t is on her? I’m tired of America being taken advantage of.

1) Vision.
I’ll never look at a lamp post the same again.
2)
3) The democrats still think that President Trump is a rube and they still have not changed their war plan to combat him.
But as usual Team Trump shows their cards…
Pat Cipollone, President Trump’s (Real) counsel “You’re not trying to steal 1 election, you’re trying to steal 2 elections.”
4) We don’t live in Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or anywhere in the middle east …….We understand that wearing a burka or hijab “in solidarity with our Muslim’s sisters” is a despicable, dishonorable, misogynist promoting act, not a symbol of empowering women.
5) Dan Scavino, one of President Trump’s most formidable warriors. Flies under the radar but always packs a wallop.
He is a master at this technique;
“When the enemy is relaxed, make them toil. When full, starve them. When settled, make them move.” __Sun Tzu
6) Sand says hello to everyone 🙂 ! She is doing well, life is just full at the moment.
7) ”I think if I took therapy, the doctor would quit. He’d just pick up the couch and walk out of the room.” __Don Rickles
8) Peripheral Liquid

That’s one of my favourite Santana tunes! It always make me smile. In 1980 I had a new baby, a good job, a hard-working husband, a sweet Cocker Spaniel named Jeremy and things were looking up! It’s all been winning and losing ever since, but that’s life and I love it!

Awesome song! Isn’t it funny how songs bring us vividly back to certain moments in life?
And yes life is about winning and losing, forward and backward, whether or not we dwell in the down times is up to us, I prefer to look to acknowledge the beautiful feel of the ever present sun even in the dark times.

Yes! The ever present Son! FIFY.
Sometimes a song will remind us of good times, but the low times somehow teach us lessons. I reckon that’s what we are here for.

Fabulous SMILES, lovely….
1) Vision…thank You, Lord, for vision…in all its meanings.
The Russian Banksy: street artist P183 decorates the streets of Moscow…explains: “The snow fell, covering the square in a huge white sheet. Looking from the window of the upper floor I could not help looking for items to put fantasies into reality. In the middle of the courtyard stands a lamppost, which very much resembles the shackle of glasses. The decision came immediately to make it a reality.” Picture: REX FEATURES (U.K. Telegraph)
2), 3), 5) What a truly extraordinary man! It must be quite a challenge to live in his whirlwind world.
4) It never occurs to the brainwashed faux-feminists to stand in solidarity with the women who take their lives into their own hands and refuse to be hidden any longer. Defying the hateful powers-that-be is a true act of women’s liberation.
6) HELLO, SAND!
7) Thanks for the laughs, Don!
8) I’d like this for blouse material.
9) Are the Great Lakes considered inland seas?
10) What a talent!

I could not help looking for items to put fantasies into reality. The whisper of vision is always there when we choose to look.
The peripheral liquid picture is part of a series done by people who tried to share what their vision was like under hallucinogens. It was a very interesting series. ***Not an endorsement for the use of hallucinogens*** that said I do agree with Scott Adams that people who have had a hallucinogen experience and view the world through the memory of the lens of that experience generally have their life view altered.
Don is so funny. Was? (don’t know if he is still with us).
I guess technically the great Lakes by the strict definition of sea are considers seas.
I’ll tell Sand you said hello 🙂 !

Don Was is still with us, and is President of Blue Note records (jazz). I actually knew Don well when he lived in the Detroit area. He played bass with a small jazz group in a bar that I frequented in the 1980’s, and we occasionally share a cocktail during the break. His real name is Don Fagenson. Here is a recording by Lenore Paxton, the pianist he played with then, although this was recorded before he joined her group. She is quite accomplished – I think she attended Julliard.
The owner of the bar, Bob Chambers, also sang with the group. His voice was a lot like Mel Torme’s. It was a different kind of place, because they had dress codes and a cover charge and it was located in a more blue collar area. The name was Bob & Rob’s, and it was located in Madison Heights, MI.

Did he have an off mode? His public personality reined me of Robin Williams, some people just see the world differently and act accordingly.
Nice jazz 🙂 !

He was a very cool dude and a really nice guy when I knew him. He is very much like his interviews. He worked really hard, and often went to work in the studio here in Detroit after playing late night jazz sets.
My daughter was really impressed when she found out that I knew him. We were watching the Grammies when he got his first award, and I said “I know that guy!” She only knew about him because of Was (Not Was).
Of course, he went on to become a famous record producer and won four Grammy awards, including producer of the year in 1994, yet he never forgot where he came from.
He was also friends with the guy who co-wrote and recorded My Sharona. That is, Doug Fieger, who happens to be the brother of the obnoxious lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger, who made his name on the defense of Dr. Death, Jack Kevorkian.
This whole thing just proves the theory of Six Degrees of Separation.
