I couldn’t find a wedding photo which had a .jpg; so just click on the link and hopefully a photo will pop up of one of my favorite people…and his now-wife, Demi-Leigh…

Good morning, aus! Ready for a beach day?

We’ve got the sunny day, a little too much wind, but the problem is it is only 50* outside. Perhaps a picnic in the dining room, near the window…

LOL! Dining room, with view!

It has been in the low 20s at night here. I think it was going to be 36 for a high today. Very cold again tonight, but then we get some forties and fifties for highs.
I was at the gym this morning and this woman told me it was so cold outside she couldn’t draw a breath. It was thirty, and I didn’t wear a jacket in. I think we might be a wee tad bit spoiled down here.

The other day when it was around 28 degrees, one of the delivery guys came to my neighbor’s apartment wearing denims and a T-shirt. I mean, come-on@ At least wear a fleece vest. LOL!

LOL My friend told her little doggie she couldn’t go for a walk tonight because it was too cold out…………55*.

It’s a little chilly for bathing suits, but a sweater and long pants might do the trick.

Isn’t it though! They are really sweet together.
One of the things I’ve always admired about Tim is that he’s vocal about his own beliefs, but doesn’t insist that everyone else should follow what he says or believes. If they do, he’s happy about it. But he doesn’t dismiss people if they’re not interested, instead remaining the same toward them.
In all the years I’ve followed his career, I’ve never seen him throw a tantrum. And when others make fun of his beliefs to his face, he never answers in kind but gently corrects the misperceptions.
I remember at an after game presser, Broncos coach John Fox was asked something negative about Tebow, the reporter obviously hoping for a negative answer. Fox immediately corrected the reporter indicating that Tim was one of the finest and hardest working men he’d ever known and it was not only a pleasure to be his coach but that more young men should be like him.

Watch this movie: Where’d You Go, Bernadette? PG 13, no sex or dirty words. Cate Blanchett is very good as the lead. Good story, funny at times, sweet at times. Thought of it as at one point she is kayaking near icebergs like these.

I have FOX on and Schumer is speaking. I have the TV muted, but the closed captions on. One of the reporters asked a question and it came up on CC “what about you and your carcass?” I was laughing too hard to hear the rest of it.

Funny what comes up on CC!

I have often wondered if it is deaf people who read lips that do the cc. LOL

At the hospitals where I work they use Dragon Dictation, which puts a caveat at the end of each document, accepting the responsibility for “mangled pronouns, bizarre spelling” and weird constructions. The captions on our TV do things like spell out I-10 as “eye ten”, and produce totally incomprehensible local town names…

I am watching this impeachment farce and just about dying laughing. The Dems keep saying that they are doing this in the middle of the night so people can’t see it. Somebody please tweet that the people in the middle of the country and on the west coast will be able to see it, after they get home from work. As usual, they figure anybody that matters lives in DC, Eastern time.

I’ve heard people in Hawaii say that no one ever thinks of them when setting program schedules. Nine AM in ET is 3:00 in HT.

Yeah, and people like Czar, Lucille and Mary should let them know they stay up late! Oh, yea, and Zurich Mike. Except, most people are not watching it no matter what time it happens. Other than Dersh presenting about Constitutional law, I gather most of it will be forms of campaign speeches or other nonsense like in the House.

I’m absolutely not watching it. Who needs to be insulted! If someone wants to put up transcripts, I’ll read them. But I refuse to listen to lie after lie after lie from the traitorous Dems.

“INSIDE EDITION” LOOKS FOR CRIME, FINDS MORE THAN IT WANTED
Smash and grab robberies are rampant in San Francisco, where authorities do very little to discourage them. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, more than 31,000 people reported smash and grab robberies in the city in 2017 alone.

Of course, Nance never mentions anything about her district…I have never heard her address the major problems there. Perhaps she doesn’t even know…she certainly doesn’t care.

Of course, if you asked her, she would say she is deeply interested, and thinks about and prays about them every day. But her job in Congress is to help ALL the people in the world.

Oowee y’all. Lamb chops for supper. They’re about two inches thick, slow cooked to make a gravy with the mushroom, onions, wine, and fresh rosemary I cut off my little bush. So good. They might mostly disappear before my husband even gets home.
And for inquiring minds, the wine ratio is roughly 2:1 my favor. About to be 3.

I don’t what I’m doing. There are some chicken thighs thawing, but they aren’t ready to cook yet. Maybe spaghetti?

I saw a local chef cooking this soup this morning on TV, and Czar said he will make it since we have all the ingrredients. All the people on the set were oohing and aahing while eating it. Warm, thick soup on a cold day.

I do a soup very much like that except no pepper flakes, and I add white beans and usually I use pasta instead of potatoes, depending on my mood. Heavy on the cream, lots of spinach. I also use Italian sausage and some Hungarian paprika.

Ran across this article earlier today. Apparently this kind of soup is a thing on Instagram.
