As a man who did not vote for President Trump, his opinion here should be heard.
Jonathan Turley is a well-known legal expert, often seen on cable news talking about a range of issues including tort law, espionage, constitutional law and, most recently, impeachment. He is a professor at George Washington University Law School and has represented clients from a variety of backgrounds and political affiliations.
“This is a daunting but not unfamiliar challenge as an academic,” Mr. Turley wrote on Tuesday on his blog about his scheduled appearance before the House Judiciary Committee.

Excerpt:
I would like to start, perhaps incongruously, with a statement of three irrelevant facts. First, I am not a supporter of President Trump. I voted against him in 2016 and I have previously voted for Presidents Clinton and Obama. Second, I have been highly critical of President Trump, his policies, and his rhetoric, in dozens of columns. Third, I have repeatedly criticized his raising of the investigation of the Hunter Biden matter with the Ukrainian president. These points are not meant to curry favor or approval. Rather they are meant to drive home a simple point: one can oppose President Trump’s policies or actions but still conclude that the current legal case for impeachment is not just woefully inadequate, but in some respects, dangerous, as the basis for the impeachment of an American president. To put it simply, I hold no brief for President Trump. My personal and political views of President Trump, however, are irrelevant to my impeachment testimony, as they should be to your impeachment vote. Today, my only concern is the integrity and coherence of the constitutional standard and process of impeachment. PresidentTrump will not be our last president and what we leave in the wake of this scandal will shape our democracy for generations to come. I am concerned about lowering impeachment standards to fit a paucity of evidence and an abundance of anger. If the House proceeds solely on the Ukrainian allegations, this impeachment would stand out among modern impeachments as the shortest proceeding, with the thinnest evidentiary record, and the narrowest grounds ever used to impeach a president. That does not bode well for future presidents who are working in a country often sharply and, at times, bitterly divided.

This is even more insane than the Shifty show.
An insane, angry liberal woman who takes shots at a child’s name. An insane pompous ass who has been harping for the President to be impeached since before he was sworn in.

You never know for sure what voters will do or how much demonrats will cheat, but I don’t see how they think this is helping them.
I’m hearing dyed in wool democrats saying they’re scaring even them, because if they can do this to POTUS, then what will they do to regular people. Hopefully some eyes are being opened that they aren’t Kennedy democrats, but instead are communists.

People who are delusional about President Trump like that Karlan dame will never change but rank and file democrats who still have their grey matter making connections are waking up. Reading more and more in comments on various sites ordinary folks saying “I don’t like Trump, I think he might be a really bad guy, but this seems to be a very dangerous road that we’re on.”
Only way the demon-crats win is if they steal the election in 2020 and that would have some terrible consequences.

My husband was telling me about talking to a lady who said she’s a registered democrat, but really is more of an Independent. She told him she usually votes third party for Presidents and has only voted for two Republicans, Trump and Reagan. However, she usually votes democrat for locals, but this has opened her eyes that democrats as a whole are dangerous. That she will never vote for a democrat again and prays that they become such a minority party that they never have any kind of power again.

Was invited to Rep Tim Ryan’s (D OH-13) tele-town hall tonight at 6 p.m., went on for over an hour. OH-13 is a very strong Democrat-union district.
Questioners were ditching their reported questions and were blasting Ryan for this shampeachment. One guy went so far to say this is the first guy who is bringing us jobs again, and things are looking up for us, and why are they impoeaching this guy. Ryan lied & said it was all thanks to Obama-Biden.
Anyway, if this is how a Democrat-union stronghold is reacting, can you imagine what other Reps are going through?

Oh, it got better. One lady really lit into Ryan, saying she had read the call transcript and watched Biden’s video clip, and we should be impeaching Biden. You can imagine my MAGA glee roflmbo
These were generations-long union Democrats!

I can not think of a more accurate sentence that describes the minions and the Masters on the Left.
“You can declare the definitions of crimes alleged are immaterial and this is an exercise of politics, not law. However, the legal definitions and standards that I have addressed in my testimony are the very thing dividing rage from reason.”___Jonathan Turley
And this is exactly why things may get a lot uglier than many would like to believe, because we are dealing with raging lunatics not men of reason.
