I can’t understand why so much of the public thinks Trump’s a divisive figure. So far he’s accomplished the near impossible, uniting the Jewish pols in Congress (save two Republican Jewish Senators) and our three Moslem reps. Of course it’s being united in hating him and Conservative America but hey, no one’s managed to get them all on the same sheet before.

Also, if I ever in the weird world hosted a very nice dinner (not bloody likely-odds on the lottery are better) I know basics about wine pairing, and I would seek good advice. But IRL I figure at 61 I should drink what I like, so if I want wine, it is very likely I’m drinking a good red wine no matter what. Sometimes I do want white with fish, but if I’m eating chicken, I’m probably still going to drink what I like.
For some reason I like some white wines but I love almost all red wines, unless they are too sweet.
At our Thanksgiving dinner people bring their favorite wines and people might be drinking anything, Most will stick to tea though.

Like you, I drink what I like. I just serve whatever I usually drink, mostly sweet whites, rose or “pink” wines, and Czar has a beer.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Just a small breakfast, as i gotta mow the whole yard, entranceway and driveway today. Okay, I will be riding the zero-turn mower, but it will take anout 3 hours total. Last mowing for the year, tho. P.S. weather people state it will be getting VERRRRY cold next week. Also, Pensacola grass does not grow when temps are below 68 degrees.

Mammatus clouds after tornadic supercells pushed through Central Texas.
Mammatus is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. True to their ominous appearance, mammatus clouds are often harbingers of a coming storm or other extreme weather system. Typically composed primarily of ice, they can extend for hundreds of miles in each direction and individual formations can remain visibly static for ten to fifteen minutes at a time. While they may appear foreboding they are merely the messengers – appearing around, before or even after severe weather.

Morning Wee! Great day we are off to. Happy Thursday y’all. I heard rumors a cold front is coming in, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t even checked the weather. One day I’m gonna miss that coat that’s packed away somewhere.
This morning I got to fretting about my coffeemaker. We have a nice one, don’t want to buy another, and we can’t just move into the new house without coffee, gasp! Then it occured to me that I think the coffeemaker was one of the last things out of the cabin. Maybe carried it out just before we mopped our way out? Surely it oughta be easy to get to right? Right? 😯

Mother Nature must read stella’s blog. Now the forecast is down to 19 degrees for the low with a wintry mix that day. Given that this is the South, and there is statewide paranoia if the S word is mentioned, I expect the moving company to cancel on me.

Thank you, I assure you that it will be a top priority for both of us! I have bought only two things to go in the new house and one of them it a little sign for beside the coffee maker. It says “I take my coffee Black, With Cream and Sugar, or Very Seriously” with the last box being the one checked, of course. Although, yes, black, don’t put crap in my coffee!

I usually make it with mayo and sweet pickle relish or with pineapple and mayo. I end up throwing about half of the shredded cabbage. I think it will be less likely with this.
