I’ve been avoiding the news all, well, longer than today. I used to track every year some news outlet would whine about the poor Muslims and how afraid they were because it was 9/11 again.🙄
The only religious ideology on the planet that can literally create 3,000 victims in one swoop and have the media cry for them and not the victims.

If I had Nazis to guess, I would say because Nazis were European for the most part. Muslims are from the Middle East.

And every time it pops up the media stomps it down but Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem conferred on how they could slaughter the Jews in the Mideast once Germany secured it from the French and British. Then there was the Allies turning a blind eye to German war criminals escaping to places in the Mideast and training the Arab terrorists that would become the household words of the 70s.

I was at my local Dry Cleaners/ Laundromat (that day) dropping off my comforters when I glanced up at the TV while I was waiting on line
Not sure what I was looking at
The 2nd plane had flown into the tower and exploded into flames
That’s when I said out loud what’s on this TV?
Everyone turned and looked at the TV screen
After that moment people just always seemed different to me…

Don’t know if y’all remember but that spot that Flight 77 hit at the Pentagon had just finished being reinforced/hardened to resist a terrorist attack. Had the plane crashed in the Pentagon elsewhere the damages would have been much worse.

I most certainly think that day took more out of me than I ever thought it would.
I remember immediately afterward, everybody on the roads were so nice, polite, and civil. Lots of cars and trucks, flying the stars and stripes. Traffic was very civil… for about two weeks.
Soon, it reverted right back to horn-honking, yellings of “moron!!!”, and middle finger salutes.
That’s when I knew that civil discourse and common courtesy would erode and will eventually disappear from our once proud nation, under the PC guise of “diversity”.
All my Dad sacrificed for was/is eventually going to go away.
The 2016 election is probably as close as I’ve ever come to a miracle.
Wished Mom and Dad were alive to see it.

Sad, but true Mike…..at least in the big cities. In the past people have always arrived on our shores at a much slower rate. They had time to find jobs, learn our language, and eventually assimilate. We’re way past the time to shut down the Cloward-Piven machine.
