    Sic ’em! That’s the threat we read from Arturo Sarukhan, a former Mexican ambassador to the U.S. who wrote in an op-ed in the Financial Times Sunday stating that while Mexico was “the adult in the room” for placating Trump over his threat to impose tariffs if Mexico doesn’t halt the border surge of late, he wanted to see Mexico get a lot tougher on the U.S. over the agreement it made. Quite explicitly, he asked Mexico to use President Trump’s domestic political opponents against him if Trump gets any tougher on Mexico for failing to keep up its end of the bargain, as the latter has vowed to do.

    Mornin’ everyone. I woke up this morning thinking about Manafort not having to go to Rikers. I know he is guilty of some things, but we all know that sending him to Rikers is just punishment for being connected to President Trump.

    Good morning all. Either I am seeing things or there is a girl who loses her pants in that video. Or maybe she just has on one of those bottle cap and string bikinis? I dunno.

    Frustrating weather for me. We are in a long line of days of thunderstorms forecast. For the most part they have been true summer thunderstorms, blow in and out quickly, rain might not even be hard. But they are keeping me from getting done with my last big project, the porches and walkways, which I dread so much that I just want it behind me.

    Now I have to have a week or so of good weather to get it done. Is it ever going to come?

        It’s in the mud fight scene. Start looking about 2:40 it happens a few seconds after that. Not real clear cause the gal is thoroughly covered in mud.

      Ménage, sure wish I could share my good weather luck with ya! We got a week of sun and high 60s coming up. Lovely! DH is sanding and staining the decks at the old house in preparation for putting it on the market. He’s thrilled with the forecast. I’m so hoping we can list the place before 4th of July. Meanwhile I still have half a garage full of boxes to unpack at the new place. At least I finally have a garage! (And getting a letter to you is high on my list)

      I thought at first maybe tight yoga pants but she clearly has something covering her derrière and then she doesn’t.

    Morning everyone…It looks like tomorrow work will begin anew on the outside of the bank building. First up is dealing with the handicap ramp & steps that were built when the US Postal Service occupied the building. Ugly, ugly, ugly…..

    On a smaller scale, I needed a towel holder in my bathroom, (heaven forbid that I just go to Wal-Mart and buy one)…so this weekend I found a hunk of wild Russian olive wood that a farmer had laying in a junk pile, took a slice of that, cut down and repurposed a brass water spigot and finished this little guy about an hour ago.

    This announcement just popped up on my screen…LIVE: 45 Fest in Orlando, FL from Donald J Trump (I’m not sure why but they use “J” and not “J.” for official campaign emails and YouTube channel).

    3:30-4:30 EDT with Lana Trump.

    I’m not sure if it’s really him, but Tucker Carlson’s name is attached to many comments in the live chat. This was one comment: ​”OK Trump mentioned you were going to love my show tonight. We are going to be streaming big time from Orlando Florida. It’s going to be great on Fox News at Tucker Carlson at 8 PM.”

    What’s wrong with…well…everything.

    The New Orleans pols hired an out-of-state firm to come here and review the circumstances surrounding arrested but not yet arraigned perps and recommend bail. It’s supposed to speed up the magistrate process by having a reviewed package and the judge can just take their recommendation for bail/no bail.

    Yesterday we had two thugs from Cincinnati who were in town (as if we ain’t got enuff of our own) and decided to stop by a local pharmacy to pick up some stuff. They tied up the clerk, dragged him to the back of the store and started filling a trash bag with drugs from the safe. As they ran out of the store they ran into the police who were waiting for them – a gunfight ensued. One police officer was hit as were both perps, and the lot was covered with shell casings.

    Pretrial services got the case and after reviewing the rather lengthy and detailed arrest/incident reports decided that one of the perps should get a Level One recommendation for bail, the lowest security rating possible, a Level that many perps can receive no-bail release. Needless to say the judge, who at least had seen the local news, the DA’s office and the arresting officers objected and both perps, still in the hospital, received bails of over $1-million. They ain’t going nowhere.

    And here we are, our tax $$$ go to hiring out-of-state liberal ‘experts’ who appear to use ouiji boards or something other than common sense. This isn’t the only example of their screwing up, just the most recent and egregious one. And the city pols are silent.
