  1. Or Mickey Black and White (as opposed to Mickey Orange) got caught out back in a sharp and heavy downpour the AM. Sat wet and forlorn on the patio until I saw him – took half a roll of paper towels to blot him enough to towel him. Walked around muttering for over an hour.

      1. Poor cat. “So you’ve had a bad day” immediately came to mind.

I posted recently about my aunt who had the baby opossum wrapped around the top of one of the four posters on her bed… still don’t know how she got it down. I asked my mom about it and she didn’t recall either, but she told me about family friends of ours that rescued a baby one and raised it as a pet. Apparently, it was a very good pet, but it didn’t like visitors. When visitors would come over, the little opossum would run and hide under the couch. When they leaned down, it would wrap its tail around their fingers causing those guests to react with shock and surprise. It never hurt anyone, just gave them a scare. Right after sharing the story about my aunt, I found this and thought it was kind of perfect! 😉
