O sea, you thunder and roar
And I love the sound of your fury.
When you throw back the refuse in your midst,
What treasure I find!

The children of the beach are warmed
By the fires they make with your contributions.
I saw their symbol of peace and love
Scratched in the sand before their sheltered rock,
Where they had set up their house.

I made my symbol of a star close by their circle
And breathed a prayer for these dear ones;
“Lord, may they find in Thee
The peace they seek.”

    10 beautiful things.

    1) Jussie Smollett has hired criminal defense attorney Michael Monico. If the name sounds familiar to you it is because Monico is the same attorney retained by Michael Cohen.

Asked if Monico was representing Smollett he answered ”Yes, at the moment, I am.”

Yikes! Not exactly a ringing endorsement of his defense but “meh”.

Police arrested two “Empire” extras, brothers Ola and Abel Osundairo, in connection with the alleged assault Friday, but released them later in the day. Cops also raided their Chicago-area apartment and confiscated bleach and a black face mask.

Police confirmed Saturday the brothers were present at the scene of the attack and provided new evidence that “is now central to the investigation,” without providing details.

Things are looking worse and worse for Jussie.

    Add;
(Looks like things have heated of for Jussie since last night 🙄).

And no MSM this is <i<not a teaching moment, it is a crime.

    2) Martin Luther King Jr’s. niece Alveda King continues to be a staunch supporter of President Trump. Alveda continues to fight for her uncles’s dream of a country united, a country where a man is judged by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin. A country where families are whole, educated, Godly and free.

“Considering the huge fiascoes and lies about abortion being a reproductive right, with New York and Virginia endorsing infanticide, President Trump’s adoption response today is yet another sanctity of life gain, let’s do something different today. Let’s pray for America, and join President Trump in his compassion for the least of these exemplified in his speech today. Let’s choose adoption as an option to abortion. Let’s insist that our elected officials vote no on infanticide.”__Alveda King, February 15, 2019

    3)

    4) Looks like Nick Sandmann has his eyes set on Law School.

Nick Sandmann aspires to be a lawyer. Nick will understand suffering of his clients & will be a warrior for justice. This morning he stands beside Todd McMurtry @FitLwyr- a warrior who is a superb role model. Please share & follow Todd & me if you wish to stand with & for Nick.”__Lin Wood

    5) If you give a mouse a wish.

    6) Washers and Dryers in our homes.

    7) The welcoming shade of an old tree on a hot sunny day.

    8) The Democrats have learned absolutely nothing and we get to watch them coyote on!!!

    9) Bocce Ball.

    10) The sheer mad beauty of William Close and his Earth Harp.

I love all of this lovely. I used to follow this European guy who did such beautiful snow art, and in summers he went to beaches and did it in the sand. Then he got off on global warming and I was getting screwy Euro political crap with the updates and I unsubscribed. For awhile I just ignored what he said, but then later I decided I didn’t want to be even an unwilling and disagreeable audience for him.

I think people who do chalk art on the street, sand sculptures, snow art, anything that is so very temporary are a special type of person. They have in some good way removed any emotional attachment to their creation knowing that it will be gone in the near future. I think that is really neat.

The art on dirty trucks is just awesome.

As to the guy you unsubscribed from I completely understand.

The Dem party has said there were certain things they believed in. But, as time has passed, some of those groups they say they support, such as trans men going into women’s bathrooms and competing on female teams is clashing with the original Women’s movement. This is happening with all their pet peeves, I believe. Wait until PETA has to answer for Halal. They are not saying anything, but I am sure some of their supporters are unhappy and more, when they find out what it is, will be mortified.

The dems are too arrogant and insulated to realize just how much trouble the monster they have created has put them in. May they reap the rotten fruit of their cold evil deeds.

‘PETA’ and ‘pet peeve’ – like dat. PETA’s been against halal slaughter but not as vociferously as they have the almost identical kosher slaughter…maybe they’re a wee bit more scared of Islamic terrorist retaliation than they are Hasidic/Yeshivish terrorist Jews throwing weaponized dreidels at them. Then again PETA just might be in the forefront of crypto-antisemitism movements disguised as social monitors.

                Feh on you, PETA.

To clarify my first sentence…BPD lies are beyond the ordinary, every-day fibs. Making up outlandish lies which could result in serious backlash against accused persons isn’t “every-day.” This type of lying NEEDS the result to be sympathy for being a victim.

Lashing out at a perceived enemy (Trump and supporters) gives purpose to Jussie’s life. He’s sure his lies will garner him kudos he so very much craves from the famous.

They’ll then pull stories and statistics out of the junk files and concentrate on white racism until S’mullet’s case is wiped from the public’s ‘short attention span’.

I couldn’t sleep last night and was watching this show about serial killers, some notorious, others not. What I found disturbing is how many of them who murdered women, little girls and even homosexuals, were dressed as girls by their mothers when they were young. Some of these mothers were birth mothers and some adoptive mothers, some were abusive to them in other ways, but some of them their mothers treated them well outside of dressing them as girls.

The show kind of skimmed over that part, but it was the one thing each of them had in common. With this gender idiocy going on now, it makes a person wonder if all these nuts are producing future serial killers.

More on the subject of marijuana use and psychosis, from the Journal of the American Medical Association:

b>Genetic Predisposition vs Individual-Specific Processes in the Association Between Psychotic-like Experiences and Cannabis Use

    Key Points

Question To what extent is the association between cannabis use and psychotic-like experiences attributable to predispositional (ie, shared genetic) or to individual-specific factors?

Findings This cross-sectional study of twin and nontwin sibling pairs analyzed a combined sample comprising 4674 individuals and found significant evidence for shared genetic factors between cannabis involvement and psychotic-like experiences. After accounting for genetic overlap, frequent users of cannabis were more likely to report psychotic-like experiences than relatives who used cannabis less frequently.

Meaning Although shared genetic influences are important, person-specific factors also appear to influence the association between cannabis involvement and psychotic-like experiences.
    Abstract

Importance Previous research indicates that cannabis use is associated with psychotic-like experiences (PLEs). However, it is unclear whether this association results from predispositional (ie, shared genetic) factors or individual-specific factors (eg, causal processes, such as cannabis use leading to PLEs).

Objectives To estimate genetic and environmental correlations between cannabis use and PLEs, and to examine PLEs in twin and nontwin sibling pairs discordant for exposure to cannabis use to disentangle predispositional from individual-specific effects.

I watched a movie last night on Amazon Prime. It was The Bride. This is not one I have ever seen before. It was made back in 1985 and is a twist on the Frankenstein story, sort of a continuation of it. I wouldn’t really call it a horror movie, more of a Gothic Romance. There is not so much gore, etc. Some swordfights, though. 🙂 It stars Sting, Jennifer Beals, and Anthony Higgins. It starts out with her creation in the lab, with all the accompanying noise, lightning and thunder, yelling, fire, things falling, etc. and moves into more of what I would call a character study sort of. Then, it became a story I wasn’t expecting. I am recommending it to our local theater because I would love to see it on the big screen.

Oh, dear, this was the only trailer I could find. Remember this is 1985 and the world was obsessed with sex. So, it gives you a look into the characters of these two men and that is about all. But, you can see the dress, setting, etc.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Jussie Smollett paid two brothers to stage an attack against him, directed them to buy items used in the alleged assault and actually rehearsed it with them, sources say.

Sources say at least one of the brothers bought the rope used in the incident at Smollett’s request. The sources also say the “Empire” actor paid for the rope, which was purchased at the Crafty Beaver Hardware Store in the Ravenswood neighborhood the weekend of Jan. 25.

Oh well, let’s see what else unravels while this thread’s being pulled.
