    8) The Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday (February 7th 2019 ) approved more than three dozen nominees to the federal bench, paving the way for a full vote before the Senate as President Trump continues to reshape the federal judiciary.

    The nominees include six to the federal circuit courts, to which Trump has already appointed 30 judges. The Senate Judiciary Committee also approved 34 nominees to the federal district courts, two to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and two to the U.S. Court of International Trade. Five of the six nominees to the federal circuit courts were approved along party-lines.

    The 44 judicial nominees passed out of the committee marks the most approved in a single markup since 1981.

    The picks will now head to the full Senate where, if confirmed, they will join the 85 judges Trump has named to the federal bench, including two to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Senate is largely expected to confirm the nominees, as Republicans hold 53 seats.

      But don’t think for one New York second she’s pulled it from her agenda. This is the greased fickle finger of fate the neo-Marxists will use to herald the end of private property ownership. We’ve seen these tendrils of confiscation worming their way through the Senate as far as farmer/rancher/individual property owners’ water rights, land use and owners’ other property rights. It’s part of a UN (here we go again…) plan to confiscate ALL water and property right as they both belong to the world and cannot be controlled by individuals.

          She’s not the one who wants to erode private property ownership, though she probably likes the concept, she’s the stalking horse. If you look at the history of Marxists/Maoists/Stalinists you see these dictators first masquerading as friends of the poor who’ll confiscate the ill-gotten gains of those who’ve cheated the aforementioned poor, only to use the support to later drop the hammer on everyone.

          I have no doubt she, as even our ‘democratic’ politicians do, would live off of the fat of the land while the masses suffered, look at the rest of Latin/South America.

            I disagree with you here. Ocasio is an elitist do as I say not as I do liberal. She wants to erode private ownership of everything, all wealth, she as all pure liberals do, will exempt herself and The Chosen from the confiscation of wealth.

      When I heard the radio news announcement this morning, the station played a clip from the classic “Mad As Hell” scene in NETWORK…which, of course, did NOT star Finney but Peter Finch.

      Oh, my, some millennial probably thought he would get some gold stars for that. It did, however, make the female news reader almost imperceptibly pause knowing someone had messed up.

    White House counselor Kellyanne Conway revealed Friday that a woman has been charged for grabbing and shaking her while Conway was eating out with her teenage daughter in Bethesda, Maryland.

    “Somebody was grabbing me from behind, grabbing my arms, and was shaking me to the point where I felt maybe somebody was hugging me,” Conway told CNN’s Dana Bash. “She was out of control. I don’t even know how to explain her to you. She was just, her whole face was terror and anger. She was right here, and my daughter was right there. She ought to pay for that.”

    Conway called 911, but the woman left before law enforcement could arrive at the Uncle Julio’s restaurant. The woman, Mary Elizabeth Inabinett, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in November, reported CNN.

    Inabinett will have a trial in Maryland state court in March.

      I actually read it. It is a bunch of ideas from disparate groups, some in no way coherent with the “green” topic. It reminds me of the platforms presented at political conventions. That Occasional Cortex put her name on this, then pulled it, will be remembered when she presents herself for consideration for any office. The liberal-socialists will “understand” and vote for her anyway.

If the Democrats go to the voters next year as the party of infanticide, open borders, a 70 percent top personal income tax rate, and the practical abolition of private health care, they will vanish more quickly, and with less distinction, than the Whigs, who at least had serious leaders like Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, and Abraham Lincoln before their party imploded. This thronging riff-raff of Democratic presidential aspirants couldn’t lead the country across Washington’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, and won’t get an invitation to try.

      I hope and pray this is true, but after some conversations lately on FB about abortion and open borders I’m losing my faith in mankind. There are a lot of evil people out there and they vote. Then the problem with the democrats becoming more bold in rigging elections, just look at how many elections were overturn after the fact this past election.

      I know the evil has been out there, but they all seem too happy to not hide it any longer.

    Well I was wrong about the local news not going after the Milwaukee police officer slain in the line of duty.

    WISN ran a piece stating that Officer Matthew Rittner was named in a civl lawsuit alleging police brutality. WISN failed to state that Rittner was completely cleared of any and all charges, that there was hours of video footage and that Rittner rendered aid to the victim.

    Filthy vile people. Their lead anchor is a rat like human being who was almost crying at Scott Walker’s victory party when we beat back the recall.

    WISN 12 News would like to apologize for the insensitivity of the timing of a post on this Facebook Page earlier today.

    Officer Matthew Rittner has had a decorated and exemplary record as a public servant in Milwaukee with MPD and abroad in the military.

    That particular story in question has been taken down.

    We are reviewing our internal systems to ensure more care is taken in the future so nothing like this happens again.

    Rep Nunes interviews Luke Rosiak, discussing Rosiak’s new book about the Awans.
    Have listened to several Rosiak interviews re: Rosiak’s new book, but Rosiak really goes in-depth with Rep Nunes, which is funny, as Rosiak has been interviewing House Intel Cmte for info for Rosiak’s book.
