    4 ) Dan Scavino Jr. has been with President Trump since the beginning of Trump’s campaign. He is a no frills, subtle slayer on the team. Always he has had President Trump’s back.

    I don’t know if he really said this or not but it is hilarious.

    7 ) President Trump’s State of the Union Address was watched by over 23 million viewers. The vast majority of Independents, the people who decide elections, had a very favorable option of our president’s speech.

      This State of the Union speech was positive, enthusiastic and targeted toward good things. People don’t want to feel badly about themselves and their country, always guilty about something, and SJWs and PC scolds keep finding ways to target Americans. Seems mixed-up to say “forgive felons” while attacking and ostracizing people who wore blackface or made ill-thought-out statements 30-50 years ago.

        The hypocrisy on the Dem side is nuts. No death penalty, but if you don’t like your baby, you can k!ll your baby. President Trump completely pulled the curtains back and exposed them. And he had those crazy women in white clapping like seals for…. themselves.

        President Trump wanted Pelosi right where she is. I actually prefer her to Paul Ryan, because we know she’s the enemy of America. P. RINO, just pretended to be a conservative. Better to see the knife coming from the front than have it stab you in the back.

              It’s doubtful we’ve seen the last of Ryan in politics. I can visualize him running against the mess who’s your governor next election for same. That way he can stay at home…isn’t that the reason he gave for choosing not to run for the House again?

              In a way I feel sorta sorry for such lukewarm folk. He has no courage and…1) couldn’t see his way to bucking the WDC system he’s been beholden to all these years, and 2) was such a NeverTrumper that he wouldn’t support the man of his own party who we elected as President.

        Didn’t Northam say that if he survives the outrage for at least five days he’ll be OK and stay in office? He’s not leaving…and that’s fine by me ’cause the Dems in line are jerks, too, and the Dr. Genocide can be aborted himself a tad easier than the others. And there’s enough time for the Repubs to get their act together, use the Dem lack of honor and decency against them and perhaps win the governor’s spot once again. Not holding my breath, though.

        I just looked it up and VA governors have seldom been Republicans…since the Civil War: 2010-2014…1994-2002…1970-1982…1865-1874.

The gold was used to buy Confederate bonds. A respected man in his community, he encouraged others to do the same. They all lost everything. Too bad, so sad!

        I thought of that too, except that if they are working 100 hours a week, and making $10 an hour under the table, that would mean they are clearing $1,000 a week. Not shabby.

          Many employers pay better than minimum as they don’t pay retirement or taxes, treating the employee as an independent contractor. That way they can ensure the worker’s silence and keep themselves out of hot water. It can be better than $15 I’m betting.

    Milwaukee has lost another officer this year.

    While serving a warrant Milwaukee Police Officer Mathew Rittner was killed by a thug.

    Heart breaking.

    I have a question and I don’t want to ask it on the local TV station or Twitter as I’m sure it will be misconstrued. It is stated that Rittner is a 17 year Milwaukee Police Officer veteran, it is also being stated that Officer Rittner served 3 tours in Iraq. Yer he is only 35 years old. Anyone have anything that can enlighten me on how the math can work? I’m sure I’m missing something.

    There is a procession carrying his body to the funeral home right now, the hearse is now at Miller Park, he and his wife were married there less than 2 years ago.

        Ahh.. Thank you Czarina! I thought you or Czar would come through. Apparently he served two active duties in Iraq and one in another ME region. Just clarifying.

        He sounds like an amazing young man.

        Sadly I knew without even looking that the perpetrator was white because the news anchors are actually expressing anger and not saying that “We have to repair the relationship between police officers and the community”. Just sadness and anger from local talking heads. Sad. Sad that I even thought of it as they were speaking.

          Just about all governments, from city to Federal, put you on leave for the time you’re deployed. Most give you two (sometimes more) weeks of paid military leave but you are allowed to accrue seniority and some other benefit times. It falls under the Federal USERRA law and most states have a rider that fine tune the law, frequently adding to it, but they can’t detract from it.
          Many PDs allow persons to join at 18, as it appeared he did, but in most cases won’t allow them to carry a gun or have arrest powers until they’re 21. There are plenty of jobs they can have in the PD until they become 21 and it counts for civil service retirement.
