Federal law makes it legal to abort babies into the ninth month of pregnancy.
This is a 3rd trimester abortion procedure.
While there are restrictions on abortion in some states, all states permit abortion into the ninth month for certain exceptions. Eight states and Washington, D.C., allow abortion until birth for any reason:
Alaska
Colorado
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New Mexico
Oregon
Vermont
New York
Virginia may also be passing legislation allowing abortion until birth for any reason in the very near future.
FACT: The preborn child in the United States does not have any rights until he or she exits a woman’s body. The citizens of this country have not seen fit to pass laws that protect these defenseless and voiceless human beings. There is something very, very wrong with our culture.
I am just amazed at all the lies the Dems, leftists, put out ………………about everything.

Here’s more. It’s disgusting:
Myth: Third trimester abortions are rare
In 2015, the CDC reported that 1.3 percent of abortions were committed at 21 weeks’ gestation and later. While 1.3 percent sounds very small, this equates to nearly 8,300 preborn children killed late-term every single year.
Myth: Third trimester abortions are only performed for reasons based on the life or health of the mother
Many Americans have heard of Roe v. Wade, even if they don’t understand just how stringent its implications are by legalizing abortion in all 50 states on demand. The lesser known companion case is Doe v. Bolton, which had devastating consequences of its own. The decisions recognized the state’s interest in protecting what they refer to as “potential life.”
What Doe did was create an availability of abortion up until birth by defining “health.” While states may have an interest, the mother’s “health” takes precedence to the life of the preborn child. Under Doe, however, “health” can mean whatever the mother and the abortionist decide.
As “Life Matters: Roe Plus 40” mentions, Doe broadly defined maternal health.
In Doe, the Court announced that health, for the purposes of late-term abortion law, would be synonymous with the mother’s “physical, emotional, psychological, familial … wellbeing”—in other words, every reason a pregnant woman could give for seeking an abortion in the first place.
Statistics show that most late-term abortions don’t actually occur for health reasons, and they’re also often repeat abortions. The Guttmacher Institute reported that abortions sought for fetal abnormalities “make up a small minority” abortions in the late-term, and abortions committed to save a mother’s life are even smaller.
Diana Greene Foster, professor at the UCSF’s Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, authored a 2013 Guttmacher Institute study on late-term abortions. FactCheck.org reports: “She said based on limited research and discussions with researchers in the field that abortions for fetal anomaly ‘make up a small minority of later abortions,’ and that those for life endangerment are even harder to characterize.”

I was looking for something else when I found this. A neonatal nurse is steamed about the VA abortion bill. I had posted this on the gen. discussion thread, too.

I hated watching this. I knew I would, but I also knew I had to. If God does not have mercy on our country I have no idea where we are going to end up. What worse things are we headed for?
Sometimes I think about other countries and places and how evil and vicious their culture is. The murderous and torture filled everyday life in Mexico at the hands of corrupt government and the cartels, who apparently find no shortage of purely evil souls to run their businesses. Apparently the whole damned continent of Africa where almost no woman makes it to adulthood without having been raped, sometimes so violently that they have terrible injuries and permanent damage. The Middle Eastern countries and Muslim territories everywhere.
But even in those terrible places I am pretty sure that the percentage of murders of the preborn is very tiny in relation to American abortion figures. So, we choose to visit our evil on the most innocent in a society.
I am not saying one evil weighs more than the other. I’m just opening my judgemental eyes a little wider.

I really don’t understand how ANYONE can justify this. I know much of it is ignorance and misinformation about the reasons for abortion and how many there actually are every year, and what is involved. Murdering and dismembering human beings is something some don’t want to see because they can’t unsee it.
It’s my opinion that we have to share information like this so that those who don’t know WILL know what it is that they are defending! Some won’t care anyway, but there are still a lot of people who will.

It’s ignorant to say it’s ever for the health of the mother. I’m not a doctor or a vet, but I can tell you from my farm experiences, a dead baby animal in the womb soon starts to rot and it comes out in pieces stinking horribly. Many animals will get severely ill and you can’t always save them.
A few years ago we had a goat that we had an ultrasound on, less than 48 hours later she went into labor. The baby was alive during the ultrasound. She was having trouble pushing it out and when we grabbed onto the legs they came off in our hands, it was the nastiest thing I’ve ever done. It smelled horrible, it looked horrible and although the mama goat survived, it was a lot of expensive high powered antibiotics and almost round the clock care that saved her.
So you can’t tell me killing a human baby inside the womb and waiting 2 or 3 days is safer for a woman than delivering a live baby.

I will certainly accept your experience over what a Dem politician says.

If I remember correctly vet said a dead animal baby starts decomposing within 24 hours. All I know is on ultrasound it’s heart was beating and it was moving that afternoon. 2 days later during the morning hours she was struggling and it was coming apart.
I don’t know how long it takes a human baby to start decomposing, but it cannot be healthy to carry a dead baby.

I looked at a couple of articles and, apparently, as long as the baby is enclosed in the amniotic sac, a couple of days is not problem.

Did you ever see the video about the woman in Egypt (I think it was) who carried a still born baby inside of her for decades, and she finally had it removed.

I remember a story in my family about one woman whose baby died and the doctor made her carry it. I thought it was for 10 days, but I doubt that. I just remember my aunts talking about it and how horrible it was for her.

Maybe animals are different, but I still say it can be healthy to carry a dead baby and is more dangerous than delivering a baby normally. Not to mention we’re talking a baby who has been poisoned.

It was a Moroccan woman, and she carried it for 46 years! I saw this on television.

That’s crazy, I don’t see how her body wouldn’t have attacked it.

The body formed a calcium layer around the baby to protect itself. The baby was in the abdomen rather than in the uterus.

I just saw the wife of my husband’s friend say that 30 years ago(I vaguely remember it) she had a stillborn baby. She was born at 26 weeks and never had really moved that much so they weren’t sure exactly how long she had been dead, but she had an appointment 3 weeks earlier and she had a heartbeat.
Then a routine doctor visit they couldn’t find a heartbeat and ultrasound confirmed the baby had died. She said the baby was intact but the fluid was a greenish color.
The problems happened after she delivered, she had hemorrhaging and infection.
She said they admitted her and induced her labor as soon as it was discovered the baby was not alive.
It’s strange though why animals decompose and babies don’t.

The only thing I can figure is that the mother’s blood circulation through the placenta somehow preserves the baby in some way.

It does make you wonder though because while reading different articles almost all of them say that often the baby will have to be removed with instruments.
Why? If the woman goes into labor and the baby isn’t decomposing, why would they need to remove the baby in parts?
Abortion is so damn cruel. It’s really hard to read articles about it because many of them are written by abortion clinic workers/doctors and they write about them as if they’re discussing pulling stitches out.

In the video I posted above, that is a possibility, but only if the mother doesn’t deliver the baby, which I understand is how it normally is done.
I watched the doctor in this video testify before Congress, and they showed the video too. People actually cringed. Pretty normal reaction, I think.

I want there to be a special place in hell for these people.
Roe V Wade was horrible enough, but at least you could kind of say they were ignorant and possibly could have believed it wasn’t a baby.
These evil people today can not claim ignorance.

Apparently they are called stone babies. In the video I posted is another case in England where they are able to save the baby (one of triplets) that is growing in the mother’s abdomen.

The question that most people don’t want to answer is this: Since labor is being induced to deliver the baby, why not let it live, and put it up for adoption? Why kill it first?

And how in the world is it easier to think of delivering a dead baby than a live one?

A parent with any brain matter left would save an unwanted baby for adoption by some childless couple who has relentlessly prayed to God to send them a precious little baby they can raise and love.

Pingback: 3rd Trimester Abortion is Legal in the United States (Video) — Stella’s Place – literature
The abortion practice of no restrictions up until the third trimester some states are advocating and adopting is pure unadulterated Murder!!! No different than a parent committing abuse, torture and murder of a baby/child at any age. Who ever first suggested and other infidels who liked the idea of such a barbaric sin against God’s precious little children surely has a reservation awaiting them in eternally fire-blazing HELL!
