Caught the last minute or so. Loved that he just walked off afterwards and let every media jerk yell away.
I noticed yesterday when he spoke at the trade meeting that he seemed really pumped, but a bit hyper. Most of us are likely going under the assumption that he can take anything, that he thrives on challenges. But there has to come a point for anyone when it gets to you. I think just walking away and not paying any attention to those yelling, lying fools should be the way to go for a very long while. Glad you took a break today, Mr. President.

I don’t call it a win for the witch. It is response to a Senate initiative announced after the votes yesterday, and only lasts 3 weeks.
In my view, it shows that the President and the Senate are the adults, giving Congress one last chance to make a deal, basing legislation on the advice of experts from the Border Patrol etc regarding effective border security of all kinds.

I particularly liked that he included the phrase “on the advice of experts from the Border Patrol” because the lying, cheating Dems were all saying “on the advice of experts.”

Successful managers don’t dig in and refuse to recognize & make appropriate changes when something is not working. Managers who consider, listen & adjust get thing done. It doesn’t help to always win if the end product doesn’t meet the needs.

I’m listening to it right now.
Sounds to me like he is strengthening his position to declare a National Emergency.
This removes the photo-ops of overpaid crybaby federal workers who apparently never saved a penny in their lives.
It paints Team Nancy further into a corner.
It is President Trump taking the highroad.
Again.
And does this mean he will give the SOTUA after all 😎?
I think this is masterful. I’m guessing most of the Right is complaining that President Trump caved. Negotiations are a Masters Game. Give it time. This is a smart move in my option.

In the meantime, he gets to give the SOTU speech, making a strong case for security. He and the Senate look like the adults.
Another issue is the closing of LaGuardia today because of a ATC slowdown, which was undoubtedly collusion between the union and the DNC.

You know many if not most federal employees get up to 6 weeks annual leave, plus they have numerous paid sick days. I know a man who is a federal employee and he hasn’t worked in almost a year, he’s going to retire, but because all of those days roll over year after year if you don’t take them all he’s waiting to file retirement papers until he gets all those days. He said he would continue getting a paycheck for 18 months before he has to worry about retirement and then because all of this time he hasn’t worked counts towards his days as an employee it will make him receive a larger retirement check. I have a hard time feeling sorry for federal employees.

Only in the federal government can you roll over so many days that you can not work for almost 2 years and still get your regular paycheck.
My BIL was a deputy until he retired and they actually had pretty good annual leave as well as sick days, but if they didn’t use them that year they lost them the next. Federal employees though never lose them if they don’t use all of them.

Poor preening rabid addled Nancy Pelosi. She has learned not a thing in the last three years. Good. Bark away Nancy.
The complexity and corruption that engulfs the highest level of our government is not going to crumble with one well placed blow of an axe.
Evil is not a rootless tree.
The MSM, Democrats, Liberals, RINOS, the minions, the Soros backed brown shirts, et al are a massive evasive overgrowth of unscrupulous violent malcontents who are in every crevice of our country. They are our neighbors, our fellow church goers, people in power, our community organizers, they are the movers and shakers in the media industry, our family members, they are among us with every step we take.
We have to fight them smartly, that means sometimes it will look like they are winning. Sometimes you have to give up a patch of ground to call in a precision smart bomb, other times you can use a Daisy cutter, sometimes you need sharp shooters, sometimes you destroy their ability to finance their war, sometimes you lull them into complacency, sometimes you talk them out of their delusion and they actually #walkaway.
Sometimes swinging a sledge hammer will not work but a scalpel will do the job.
Right now, President Trump is doing all of these things on multiple levels. There is no assurance that he will succeed but he is putting up a hell of a fight under conditions that he inherited and under hostile fire from a thousand corners.
Given the parameters of reality, I believe President Trump made the best decision that he could and that he is further marginalizing and limiting the viable options of the would be coup crowners.
President Trump did have another options, keep the government shut down, and all that entails.
I for one believe that we are very close to very violent civil unrest. If those black pieces of filth would have attacked the boys of Covington, the MSM and their Democratic accomplices would have blamed the boys of Covington, America is on edge.
When patriots get to the point of being pushed into a physical confrontation just to exist, just to stand on a street corner wearing a MAGA hat we are nearing in on only one option left to us fight to save our own lives. The option of a holding pattern is dwindling in space and time.
If the rabid Antifa crowd decides to take that minuscule step from random physical attacks on patriots to persistent and perpetual physical assaults on patriots we have no choice but to accept the war that they are demanding.
President Trump understands what is at stake. He is not bothered by Pelosi because she is a preening addled poodle. She is proud and assured of victory in her own mind. Yet she is riddled with rabies and it is only a matter of time before she is foaming at the mouth for all the world to see.
The curtain is being drawn back. The world, America is in a very precarious place, I for one am not willing to die on the altar of “The enemy looks happy and strong, I don’t like it. Let’s go in now show them who is boss.” That in my mind is a temporary high that simply kicks the can down the road, they lick their wounds and come back snarling.
We need an end game. The stealing of of our liberties, the stealing of our wealth, the stealing of our lives, the perverting of all that is holy and sacred, the butchering of babies, the demonizing of decent people, it all needs to end and it needs to end in a way that it will take hundreds and hundreds of years for this kind of horrific evil to return to power, because return to power it always does, we need to eradicate it, the whole entire forest, the trees, the grass, the brush, we need to burn it down, to rip it out by the roots and burn the roots to ashes and then scatter the ground with lye.
We can not be hasty. We must win and we must win a devastating world changing fashion. The evil must stop. The elites who have raped and terrorized good people for so generations must not be allowed to reposition they must be revealed, reviled, jailed, demoralized, stripped of all power and it must be done without pause or error.
A million moving pieces are being aligned. Victory takes time.
If the SOTU Address is not given on January 29, 2019 then so what? Who do you think will look bad? This is an optic that Pelosi has already lost.

I am in full agreement with you on your entire assessment!
God forbid we have to shed blood, lose lives, and destroy lives in order to win back this great nation, but I fear we are but a spark away.
Many believe our President caved/folded, as my comment below states, but my comment is about those public perceptions based on joe voter.
I’d like to state here and now….I made the comment but do not agree with the perception.
I believe our president folded (not in a bad way) but to reposition. He will be the winner for US/us! 👍🏽👍🏽😎

Funny story when I was in my early twenties through circumstance I became friends with a World War II vet. He was tiny and old, and I was 20 something and 105 pounds soaking wet.
We would talk about things, the world and its moral decline, and he would often end our conversations with “Let’s go kick their ass.” 🙂
Of course we never did get into any physical altercations with anyone but it was always a funny thought for us because we were such an odd pair 🙂 .

This is not good. The optics in the public is that Roger Stone being arrested and President Trump appearing to cave on the shutdown are not coincidental, the dems literally claiming victory while Chucky and Nancy literally dance and bashing the president in the media….deflates and infuriates the base. Regardless of how many keep trying to spin things differently by always saying he has a plan….yet he comes up short in the public view. Unfortunately media spin and optics matter.
Yes, I still support our president. I also understand how this all looks to the average joe voter.
