    2) Another sculpture created by Jeffro Uitto. Menagerie got me thinking about hoe I walk by a piece of driftwood and Jeffro Uitto walks by that same piece of driftwood and sees potential. The human mind isa beautiful thing.

    His cultures are not small. I believe the horse is about 10 feet tall.

    3) The 48 hour grace period for those vile humans who defamed the Covington boys runs out today. Those who have not given their mea culpa and retracted are so deep in the quicksand there is no hope of them not losing and losing big.

    4) A far shot but a possibility to the SOFUA debacle. I’ve always believed that President Trump likes to tip his hand and I think that there is ample evidence of this since he declared his candidacy.

    So what did he say? Words are President Trump’s sword and scalpel.

    President Trump said that it was Nancy Pelosi’s “prerogative” to disinvite him from the House Chambers so “Meh” ok. He will hold the SOTUA after the shutdown is over.

    I thought “prerogative” was an interesting choice of words.

    Then I thought.

    What is President Trump’s “prerogative”?

    His “prerogative” is to declare a National Emergency at our border and start building The Wall.

    Declare a National Emergency. Open the government. Give the SOTUA on January 29th as scheduled.

    The family of 16-year-old Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann, having already contracted Kentucky’s largest public relations form to help repair his image after a viral incident outside the Lincoln Memorial, on Thursday hired a Georgia attorney known for aggressive libel and slander suits against media organizations.

    L. Lin Wood, nicknamed “attorney for the damned” by former CBS anchor Dan Rather, visited the Sandmann family earlier in the day, according to a news release from Sandmann family attorney Todd McMurtry.
    “He is committed to bringing justice to 16-year-old Nick Sandmann and his family,” McMurtry wrote.
    Wood “often (seeks) eye-popping damages for those he believes have been libeled or slandered in the press,”according to a 2011 Washington Post article about his defense of Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. (Cain had been facing accusations of sexual harassment that derailed his campaign.)

    Other notable clients include the family of JonBenet Ramsey, who were suspects in the child pageant queen’s murder, and Richard Jewell, a Centennial Olympic Park guard misidentified as having bombed his workplace in 1996.

    So much for a 48 hour grace period 🙂 .Which was a mistake in my opinion, but what do I know?The damage is done apologizing, reacting at this pint is meaningless. I think Barnes expected (rightly) that many people would simply double down on their defamation and they did so well played.

    6) It is -8° degrees here today. I have no place to go. Windchill factor it is -25°. I have food, heat and tea 🙂 !

    7) Super Bowl viewership is down and for the first time in decades the cost of advertising during the event has not increased. The cost is still astronomical but its anti-Americanism is coming home to roost in the only place it hurts them, their pocketbook.

    8) Three year old Casey Hathaway has been found safe and alive in the NC woods where he disappeared earlier this week. He was found last night ❤️.

    10) Jayme Closs is reviving the $25,000 reward that was offered by the Jennie-O company to anyone providing information to Jayme’s whereabouts. Jayme’s parents were employed by Jennie-O.

    The FBI has nit revealed who will receive its $25,000 reward.

        Let’s hope that they are Catholics in the true meaning of the word and not Virtue Signaling morons. So far so good from what we have seen of their boys who have come forward.

        I’m reminded of Mollie Tibbetts’ mom loving illegal immigrants even more after a monster illegal immigrant brutally slaughtered her SJW daughter.

        It is an evil mad sickness that infects these people.

    I don’t know what Ricky did or said but if the Leftist Mob has turned on him, well, the civl war is just as likely to be liberals attacking their own as it is the liberals attacking us.

    The Left never counted on their minions being anything other than compliant idiots, just like they never counted on there being a President Trump, the Left has no plan for turning back the torrent of violence when the minions figure out that their real enemy is people like Obama, Hillary and Hollywood.

    At the moment I’m taking a respite from watching THE WINDS OF WAR television series starring Robert Mitchum, Polly Bergen, Jan-Michael Vincent, Ali MacGraw. I’m pretty sure I saw the first episode when it aired in February 1983. But I must have missed episode 2 and didn’t want to watch the other episodes without it, because I don’t recall the rest of the series at all.

    The leads are played by actors quite a bit older than their characters. Mitchum was 64, MacGraw was 42 and Vincent 37 when it was filming. Bergen was the correct age range at 51. All-in-all I’m enjoying it, melodrama though it may be. So if you’re interested, you can pretend you’re part of the 80 million who watched it each night in 1983.

      My humble opinion. Foys is trying to be an escape artist and failed, he is still talking about the truth coming out.

      The truth is out. No thanks to the Catholic Church.

      And Foys is playing victim.

      What a shame.

      Most telling point in the letter, Foys claiming victim status for the diocese. In other words “Please don’t sue us Mr. Wood and Mr. Barnes.”

      A short video clip of one activist, Omaha tribe elder Nathan Phillips, playing a traditional drum while face-to-face with a smiling Sandmann, who wore a “Make America Great Again” cap, became the lit fuse on a controversy Bishop Foys said led to an online explosion that damaged the entire diocese.

      No Bishop Foys your illegitimate virtue signaling condemnation of innocent boys who went to DC to protest the slaughter of innocents is what damaged the entire diocese.

      “Last night, Todd McMurtry @FitLwyr and I delivered a preservation of evidence demand to Bishop Foys. This afternoon, he belatedly apologized to Nick by letter. Good first step but more is necessary in order to fully remedy the damage caused by his libelous statements.” Lin added in another tweet: “Truth has a way of always rising to the surface.       I agree with most of what is said in the comments section. The diocese was so bullied so scared that they piddled on the most innocent in their flock? Give me a break.

      Ah, so the bishop is the one responsible for the “third party investigation.”

      “Foys wrote he hoped an independent third-party investigation would definitively exonerate the students of the racism and harassment of which they had been accused.”

      My answer would be the same, “No, absolutely NO to one of your investigators speaking with my child.”

      While I don’t have the right to judge the quality/sincerity of anyone’s faith, there is authority to judge actions. Foys, and his other clergy who disparaged and libeled these young people, perhaps should give thought to falling on his knees in front of God and his parish in abject repentance for his actions. Speechifying just doesn’t cut it.

    Just watched the movie, The King’s Speech, for the second time. Colin Firth really did a marvelous job, making the character of the king so very sympathetic. And based on a true story. At the end, they say that Bertie and Lionel remained friends for the rest of their lives, and that Lionel was present for all of the King’s wartime speeches.
