    My daily greeting seems to have disappeared into the ether…so I’ll just serve coffee or tea in my Clarice Cliff service instead (which sold at Christie’s in 2017 for $2,000) with a wish for a wonderful day…

    Well, my new grandson’s managed to climb his first stair and my son videoed it. At the end of his mounting the stair he turned and gave a royal wave with his right arm – kid’s got a sense of accomplishment.

    10 reasons today is a good day 🙂 .

    1) On October 24, 2016 Hillary Clinton said ”I’m so far ahead in the polls I don’t even think about Donald Trump anymore.” 😏

    2) On December 9, 2016 President Elect Trump announced that he tried to buy Hillary’s unused fireworks for 10 cents on the dollar when he found out that she canceled the big show 🙂 . 😂

    3) On January 11, 2019 President Trump thanked Jim Acosta for showing the world that walls were effective in keeping criminals from crossing the border into our sovereign nation. Acosta played dull. President Trump then told Jim Acosta ”Some people are dumb.”.

    4) Melania Trump is our FLOTUS. Melania speaks 6 languages, is beautiful, gracious, intelligent, a loving mother, educated, a proud American and unlike other recent First Ladies she is not a criminal selling out America to enrich her own coffers.

    5) The days are getting longer.

    6) The joy of old photos are at our finger tips because of the internet.

    7) Looks like the democratic part is going to be an absolute no holds barred bare knuckle fight amongst a bunch of rabid lunatics. Get your popcorn ready. There are currently 31 declared Democrat candidates who have thrown their hats into the 2020 race for President of the United States 😂.

    9) The people who kept Jayme Closs safe after she escaped her captor were Americans who practiced their Second Amendment Right. They were prepared to kill her abductor if he showed up looking for her.

    “When our neighbor Jeanne came in with Jayme, she said: ‘Get a gun. We don’t know if he’s after us,’” Kristin Kasinskas told Fox News. “So we were armed and ready in case this person showed up.”

    The stakes have been raised in the ongoing China-Canada confrontation over Meng Wanzhou.

    Last year China arrested Canadian Robert Schellenberg for smuggling 440 pounds of meth. He received a hefty 15 year prison sentence and a $22,000 fine. Well just before New Years the Chinese courts decided the sentence was too lenient, quickly retried him and again found him guilty but this time sentenced him to death – no word on if there were a fine too. This gives China three Canadians in state custody and one of them on death row. Now the execution won’t happen soon, expectations are the sentence will be put on hold as the negotiations over Meng play out but it puts Trudeau in an icky place.

    Trudeau is so concerned he issued a statement, not much off of his usual vanilla boilerplate but concerned sounding all the same. All he has to do now is decide which superpower he wants to PO, and how he’ll deal with the fallout. Three Canadians, so far, in Chinese craws while he has one Chinese businessperson he’s detaining for the US. I’m wondering if he’s hoping he can stall this until November of 2020 before he moves.

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
