Convicted Pedophile & Longtime Suspect Confesses to the Murder of JonBenet Ramsey

RED STATE:

On December 26, 1996, JonBenét Ramsey’s body was discovered in her family’s Boulder, Colorado basement. The six-year-old’s murder has remained unsolved.

But according to The Daily Mail, an imprisoned pedophile has confessed to the evil deed.

54-year-old Gary Oliva is currently serving a 10-year sentence for child pornography in Limon Correctional Facility. He was once imprisoned for trying to strangle his mother; other convictions include the sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl and possession of a stun gun.

After being arrested in 2016 for having illegal porn on his phone, Oliva wrote letters to a former high school classmate, music publicist Michael Vail.

The correspondence included the following statements:

“I never loved anyone like I did JonBenét and yet I let her slip and her head bashed in half and I watched her die. It was an accident. Please believe me. She was not like the other kids.

“JonBenét completely changed me and removed all evil from me. Just one look at her beautiful face, her glowing beautiful skin, and her divine God-body, I realized I was wrong to kill other kids. Yet by accident she died and it was my fault.”

The letters have been turned over to the Boulder police…

According to the Daily Mail:

Sexual predator Oliva wrote the letters to Vail from his cell in Limon Correctional Facility, Colorado after being arrested in 2016 for possessing child pornography on his phone.

DailyMailTV has obtained a redacted police report for his 2016 arrest which shows Oliva also had hundreds of photos of JonBenét on his phone when it was seized.

He is currently due for parole in October 2020.

I hope all this is true and they’ve got him. He should never get out. And, I am glad the brother won his suit for defamation. I thought it was terrible what that show did to him.

Yeah, let’s see if the Boulder PD accepts this or just blows it off as yet another false confession by an imprisoned perp looking for notoriety. The BPD has been trying to nail the crime on to dad and the brother since the time they arrived on the scene, their ‘investigation’ was more oriented to making the evidence fit their own narrative than to solve the crime.

Then again, they’ve also done a lot of Keystone Cops work trying to disprove outside EXPERT’S reinterpretation of their bad policing. Maybe they should just sit back, light up the department bong and chill out. If they would just stop the CYA efforts and let things be everyone in the country would just forget about the entire thing…again.

Worse than the Keystone cops. Botched. Also it was Christmas and they had the folks with least seniority on duty. Total sh*t show.

It’s not unusual though for cops in a hi-profile case, especially a smaller department, to just panic and try to slam the first convenient and plausible Person of Interest right up against the wall.

They had the Ramsey’s and their friends help them search the house. The lead female officer said she knew when she looked in John Ramsey’s eyes as he was bent over his dead daughter, who he, himself had just found and carried up from the basement, that John had killed her.

They didn’t secure the house until after the discovery of JonBenet’s body. People were traipsing in and through the house all day.

Time will tell on this confession.

I just read another article that is reporting the confession and it gets a basic fact wrong. The Ramseys did not have a party at their house on Christmas eve. They attended a party at their friend’s home. The Whites. It seems that most of the UK papers are printing this bit of wrong information, that may just be because of the rush to publish the story.

Gary Oliva has long been considered a suspect. If what his “friend” says is true it may finally be a break in the case. I believe John Ramsey mentioned him as one of the people he was frustrated about because the Boulder PD refused to look seriously into him.

    Also;

“Oliva wrote in his letter, seen by DailyMailTV, from a Colorado prison: “I never loved anyone like I did JonBenét and yet I let her slip and her head bashed in half and I watched her die. It was an accident.”

This is not consistent with JonBenet’s head wound. But it would be consistent with a murderer trying to assuage his personal guilt.

The garrote fits Gary Oliva’s previous behavior.

Also although JonBenet did have her head bludgeoned the corners report attributed her death to
“asphyxia by strangulation associated with craniocerebral trauma,” There is still debate about whether or not the bludgeoning was fatal but that seems only to be pushed by the Patsy Ramsey lost her mind and bludgeoned JonBenet to death then the family conspired to garrote her to make it not look like a crime of passion.

Unfortunately I have dug deeper into this case than I am comfortable with.

The friend tried to get Boulder police to act way back then.

I think the worst thing was all of those publications blaming the mother. She’s dead now.

Yes. I feel so sorry for Patsy, by all accounts she never recovered from JonBenet’s murder and the onslaught of accusations from not only the press but some of her friends believing that she murdered her own child.

FBI agent John Douglas, famous for mainstreaming profiling, and for giving Atlanta prosecutors the tools to get a Wayne Willaims to basically confess on the witness stand repeatedly told the LE community that there the Ramsey’s had nothing to do with their daughter’s death.

But people had a vested interest in crucifying Patsy, John or Burke.

It looks like the Boulder Police are going to deep “meh” this. Previous confessions?

Previous confessions in the Ramsey case or to other crimes?

JonBenet Murder: Boulder Police Respond To Gary Oliva’s Admission Of Guilt

    https://denver.cbslocal.com/2019/01/10/jonbenet-ramsey-gary-oliva-murder-boulder/

Police in Boulder released this statement regarding the letters, “The Boulder Police Department is aware of Mr. Oliva and has investigated his potential involvement in this case, including several previous confessions.”

The department went on to state that they “routinely receive information” on the Ramsey investigation and that information “is reviewed along with other tips and theories.”

I believe I have mentioned before that I got interested in the JonBenet Ramsey case because my friend went missing and in the course of seeking out websites that helped with missing people I stumbled upon a site that put up a blurb about my friend.

It is a site that purports to be a victim advocate site.

I was banned from there (suspended but demanded that they remove me as a member or face legal action) because I argued that Oscar Pistorius’ version of the events that took place on the night he killed his girlfriend was the most plausible version of what happened that horrible night.

On another front before I was suspended 🙄 I was told that I would be suspended if I continued to harass SuperDave who was an extreme nutcase who was certain that the Ramseys killed their daughter. He even wrote a self published book about his theory. SuperDave was a hero to the mass hive mind and they all followed him around and praised him for his terrific knowledge. I said he was delusional and that the site should be happy that the Ramsey family didn’t sue them and him.

Fast forward. I popped over there to see if they were wringing their collective hands over the latest developments in the JonBenet Ramsey case. And lo and behold their hero, my nemesis, during my time there, Super Dave, has been arrested charged aggravated sexual assault of a child, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child, promoting a recording of sexual conduct involving a child and possession of child pornography.

Here is the title of his book; An Angel Betrayed: How Wealth, Power and Corruption Destroyed the JonBenet Ramsey Murder Investigation Contact and Publish

I repeatedly said that this guy had an agenda and wasn’t right.

Anyhow I read some of the thread about the situation and they are truly despicable people on that forum.

PS There is no discussion of Gary Olivia (or any intruder in the Ramsey home) allowed on the site, because Olivia is not a person of interest in the JonBenet case according to the administration. “There were only 3 people in the home” says administration.

Buzz buzz buzz the hive mentality is alive and well.

Oliva is an old suspect who was cleared by the DNA – – same as Fleet White, Santa Bill McReynolds and the Ramseys.

According to a previous report by Rolling Stone, which placed him on a list of plausible suspects in 2016, Gary Oliva “was cleared by DNA testing for the JonBenét murder.” However, police have conducted new DNA testing and some news organizations have quoted experts as questioning whether the DNA in the case derived from the child’s killer. Oliva’s name has surfaced in connection with the case for years, and he’s made some odd statements about JonBenet, including allegedly saying he wanted to make a shrine to her.

The DNA was in two places so if the DNA cleared Olivia and I have no reason to doubt that it did given jameson245 post then it is likely that Olivia is another perverted nutter.

Those who doubt that the DNA came from the killer are people who say that the DNA could have come from a factory worker where JonBenet’s underwear was manufactured. The problem with that theory is that the same foreign DNA was found on JonBenet’s underwear and on the top of her long johns. Two deferent locations.

Great blog, telling the ins and outs of the case, the DNA was important, yes it discounted a lot of information but putting away someone who’s innocent would have been very bad xx
