    The first image was originally different colors, but I 1st saw it all blue, and well – it is aviation & I really like blue

    To go with the above illustration here are some 1893 photos of Otto Lilienthal test flights. He was a German pioneer of aviation who became known as the flying man. He was the first person to make well-documented, repeated, successful flights with gliders.

          No Wooly getting yourself a woman is not “kind of important” to your getting sober. I’m calling bullshit. You don’t have the right to put that onus on anyone. Especially a women who you want to be the love of your life. Get sober for her before you meet her. Give her that gift. Give yourself that gift. Be a gift.

          Wooly you have the tools, you have the desire, you have the impetus, you have your unshakable faith, you want a better life, or do you? Stop punishing yourself Wooly, your brother wouldn’t want you to punish yourself for something that you have no ownership in.

          Wooly, you exhaust me from hundreds of miles away, I can’t imagine how exhausting it is to be inside your brain, you are deserving of the beauty of this life Wooly, you seem to be the one person standing in your way.

          Nothing is wrong with you so don’t ask me that. You need to forgive yourself Wooly.

          Christ died for our sins, for all of them big and small and yet you are telling Him that His sacrifice is not enough, His suffering is not enough, you know better than Him and you must punish yourself for your sins both real and imagined, Christ crucifixion is not enough for you?

          Sobering thought Wooly.

          Again you are worth more than the life your living, you are capable of living a sober happy life, it’s all yours Wooly if you choose it. I love you Wooly, all of us here do, love yourself, I wish you could have the gift of knowing how special, gifted and beautiful you are, my prayer is that you give up your burden and that you embrace this beautiful gift of life.

    I went to the library after work the other day, looking for O’Reilly’s ‘Killing the SS.” It was checked out, so I got two other WWII books and went home.

    I was plowing through the first book last night when it occurred to me that while I was in college, there were all the news stories about college age folks who needed coloring books and safe spaces so they could be protected from ideas that scare them. I have the misfortune to have these folks as my contemporaries (I think I was closer to graduation at the time and they were freshmen, but I could be wrong.) And here I am, reading a book about WWII. Wanna talk about uncomfortable ideas? War is the ultimate uncomfortable idea.

    I wonder whatever became of those college students who were so intimidated by life.

      “In two presidential elections since 2000”, we Democrats have unjustly lost the Presidency due to that horrible Electoral College…because the Presidency is rightfully ours, you know…OURS!! And we don’t like anyone who thinks the Constitution, as originally written, is the law of the land or that the Founders had good reasons for including the Electoral College.     For the first time in my life I have actually used the last of my rice. I don’t know why but this is very odd to me. It is something we always seemed to have too much of but I just put my last bit in the rice cooker.
