Love this photo…nostalgic somehow…back in the 1970s my boyfriend and I used to take his German Shepherd to the beach in the evenings and we’d walk along the shore with Buck chasing the twigs we’d throw in the ocean…

We all have vertical blinds on our sliding glass doors…………that is, except for a couple of doors down where they have 3 dogs and the blinds are now completely shredded. 🙄

One of our dogs growing up used to tear up all of my mom’s plants but he had a special fondness for a 4 foot indoor tree. Eventually he killed it 😏.

Love that dog mushing photo Stella! That’s a hard-working team of either 7 or 8 dogs. Their backs are arched into the harness, meaning they are pulling hard. The surface looks good and hard-packed with a little loose snow on top. The sled appears pretty heavily loaded, but it isn’t large so 7 or 8 dogs are plenty of power. And it is a gorgeous day to be out on the trail. Possibly really cold, but looks like there is no wind. Ah, dog mushing! The competitive season is just getting started now, there will be mid-distance races (200-400 miles) every weekend until March when the granddaddy of ’em all, The Iditarod, begins. Can’t wait!
