Gift Week, Day Five – Your Fondest Wish

Today, I want to know what you would like to have this year for Christmas. I want to know what material gift(s) you want. Is it a particular kind of clothing – perhaps a cashmere coat? Maybe a beautiful ring or necklace. A boat? A car? A new gun? What kind?

Perhaps a new puppy?

Think of what you really want, and be specific. Your ideas may help your other stellars select gifts for their loved ones!

I would like a trip to Scotland. I may have to gift myself. PS: I didn’t get it last year, so it’s still on my list.

scotlands-castlesIf you are fresh out of ideas for your loved ones, fortunately there are great gift guides on the web. Here’s just one of them, from Esquire:

  2. I’m good, actually.

Wisdom? Yeah, I guess that would be a nice gift.

Other than that, yeah… I’m good.

I need absolutely nothing…except maybe a well-fitting pair of dark gray leather oxford-type shoes with proper support insoles….and maybe this Thai ruby (21 carats) and diamond (7.21 carats) designer necklace made in Naples. It can be worn with most anything and I’m game to try…

I would love to have a new vehicle. Not gonna happen any time soon unless the old Toyota dies, but I sure would like to have an SUV again. If it weren’t for that, the only thing I could think of would be a trip somewhere.

There are 3 material things I need Santa:

    1 – house repairs so I don’t get sick
2 – a round trip flight to Dallas and back where I won’t get sick
    3 – A job where I won’t get sick. (*)

Hmmmm… I’m noticing a pattern here. Oh well, I’m putting it out there into the universe 😉

(*) I do research on voter fraud from home, but if I can’t work for a couple of weeks because of an allergic reaction for example, it’s ok because it’s a small group of unpaid voluteers doing the work ourselves.

I don’t really need things, altho a couple of reliable, hard workers to do the manual labor on our propety would be nice. An upgraded building for our pet shelter, and money to pay for adoptions & medical care so old people can adopt & keep their pets.

  10. Isn’t it neat to be able to say “I don’t need anything.”?

I think that’s when we thank God the most.

“I don’t need anything at all. Thank you, God, for your Providence.”
