    It’s mighty cool in the Idaho Panhandle and expecting a big snow storm tomorrow (the kind they’re putting out an advisory on. May I put in a NOT order?

      Yeah, my doctor-owned-hospital docs and the green eyeshade crowd are turning this no-opioids scene into a cash cow. They have pain management clinics where a whole host of treatments, almost all being less than useful, are paraded out seemingly in order of ‘least effective’ to increase billing potential.
      I have a really screwed back and where I didn’t want oxy (though I keep a scrip on hand in case of a major event) the only treatment they offered for my back otherwise was cutting the nerves so I wouldn’t feel the pain. They did mention an electrical device to interrupt the pain signals but leaned toward the cutting/cauterization (they just got a snappy new machine that cuts/cauterizes nerves – coincidence?).
      I’d mentioned that I was nervous about cutting the nerves as pain is your body’s way of telling you you’re doing something you shouldn’t andI was worried about making the situation worse if I couldn’t feel the warnings the doc quickly pointed out of the window and said: “LOOK! Something bright and shiny on a string!”. When I mentioned I’d like something for my lawyer to look at, including his notes from the visit, just incase I decided to take the treatment (I wasn’t serious) the doctor disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving a large frog sitting in his chair and the echo of “twang your magic twanger, Froggy” echoing through the office. OK, I overstated the latter but you get the idea. If you’re ever bored in a doc’s office and want to liven things up just say ‘lawyer’ and stand back.
      If we’re talking about banning things physicians abuse then let’s talk about billing…

    Have a beautiful day folks. I’m bummed that it looks like Nick Ayers is out as COS for President Trump. Apparently he had already told Pence he was going back home at the end of this year year. May e his not taking the job is fake news 😏.

      Mornin’ all. Beautiful flower, lovely. Did you know the number of petals on flowers is always a Fibonacci number? Our Lord’s language is math (and music, which is also math).

      Heard Ayers had 6 yo triplets (!) and did not want to miss any more of his kids. Ayers will be missed, but one suspects he will be back.
      Why does Pres Trump need a COS? Apparently there were no COSs till Truman, and Pres Kennedy never had one.

      Or maybe, if he has his eye on further political career, he feels it’s best not to touch a political 3rd rail.
      We have the 2020 election run-up coming on, a Rat House coming in and the Mueller investigation STILL grinding on. There’s a real potential for the House to initiate impeachment proceedings just to dirty the waters and if Mueller can hold off until late 2018 or early 2019 to release a report with actionable findings the inquisition could go right into the elections.
      Let’s see who else abandons the ship of state.

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

    Tree planted in 1978 by homeowner Avril Rowlands gets out of hand in Inkberrow, Worcestershire County, England…volunteers come in every year to decorate the 50+ foot Christmas tree…
