Wonderful! I’m sure she met with much ‘resistance’ while she was in the process of this significant mandate. Dropping Jesus’ name is one of the most stupid slaps in the face for Christians they could have dreamed up. They’ve already ruined saying “Merry Christmas” – they’ve made such a big deal of it that I believe many have kowtowed, and heaven knows it spread like wildfire through the RACIST lefties. (If they call such things racist I see no problem doing it either.)
You will never catch any of that rabid bunch dropping out allahu akbar or salaam-alaikum – crap, they try to teach Arabic in some elementary schools… and get by with it, no matter how offensive it is to non-Muslims.
This chaps me somewhere.

Kiddo had his holiday show tonight. He paticipated in the whole thing. 3 teachers told him how happy they were, but im sure they all were surprised. What a difference with private school singing Christian songs, although they put a ramadan one in there too. The kids worked pretty hard for an hour long production. I met the parents of his best buddy at school who want them to have playdates. Very happy to see potential for a friend.
A good night for sure.

Awesome! Glad he did so well and that the teachers acknowledged him for it. GS had his first one last night. Those little kiddos are so cute! They are all around 2.5 and 3 years of age and really precious to watch. GS showed of some pretty spectacular dance moves that he invented on the spot. 😀

Bunnies! Snow bunnies are different. I bought some new garland. An elf laundry line, including underpants, and a dog sled line pulling santas sleigh plus some simple multi colored cloth.
We are making a Christmas fairy garden for his teachers gift. I finally bought a cheap glue gun too.

Anyone here getting long Grammarly™ ads on my videos? Rightclick the background, choose “reload”, and you’re good. Or watch two minutes of stupid people telling you that they cannot actually write, and that they need an app for that.
I want to post Grammarly advertisements at local schools. Big ads. Big, huge, SABO-style posters.
And I want Grammarly to pay me for it.
I know kids in school. I train them to work in restaurant kitchens. I would love to have them put posters in their schools, especially near or in their English classrooms, where the teachers are failing miserably at teaching. I need to get a big printer. Like a wide-format 6-color Roland.
Grammarly exists because the public schools cannot do what they are paid to do, against our will, with our money. And Grammarly actually does, for far less money per parent.

Hey now. Grammarly is freaking awesome for us old folks who don’t want to go back and correct all those typos since they are no longer great typists and their fingers don’t run so quick as their brain!!!! I would much rather make corrections on the fly than going back on a document and check the whole thing from the beginning.
I’ve got the free version and just love it for emails and forum posts.
The problem with Grammarly for the school set is that sometimes you actually have to pick the correct answer from multipe possible ones, be it such things as spelling, grammar or punctuation. They would still fail English.
However, you’re spot on regarding the quality of education today. I knew proper English was doomed during a college course (in a Teaching Program) and the powers that be decided Eubonics was and “acceptable language” for student papers.

Boy, stella, this computer issue is turning into being “snake bitten” from start to so far. I sure hope the card issue goes smooth and this crazy computer project comes to an end for you pretty soon – my evil side would have long been outed were I you!!

About 5-6 years ago a couple of small purchases (less than $10) were made on one of my cards which I caught right away and reported both to the card company and to the “online game” company which put my card on their fraud list. Then there was one of nearly $300 that some crook spent using the same card at Victoria’s Secret for items sent to a New York City address.
All 3 were protested, of course, and I wasn’t charged. The small purchases were what the card company called “test purchases”…if the crook gets away with small items, he then goes for larger. I called Victoria’s Secret just to see why they allowed someone to use my card who obviously did not have my photo ID. They said they checked with my card company who approved the sale!! They refused to refund the money to the card company.
LifeLock informed me that my credit card info, address, etc. was found on the dark web! Oy, that’s scary!

Evil Mom has come to brag a bit. (you all thought were rid of me, huh? not a chance lol)
Wicked Son had accepted a Directors position at UNC Wilmington. Then NCAT (NC Ag & Tech, Greensboro) called back with a better offer, after WS had already turned NCAT down for a different position.
NCAT offered Deputy CIO – yes, CIO !!! – w/25K more than any other offer.
Can you imagine? What to do? WS so dearly wanted to be on the coast. But gee wiz, Dep CIO, with 3 decades or more left before retirement.
Here is the best part – NCAT is an historical black college, the largest in the U.S. NCAT awarded M Obama an honorary degree (phooey).
WS will be NCAT’s token WASP CIS male. roflmbo They’ve NO idea what they have just invited to their campus.
WS will now be looking for two houses in NC – one in Greensboro, and one on the coast for vacations, sabbaticals, and retirement. Fitting, WS having been one of, if not the, very first born to an active duty Marine at Lejeune (WS was made Marine of 2dRadBN Co B FMFLant).
WS is going home.
postscript: WS left me Duplicitous GDaughter and WS’s MIL. Both are staying here in Ohio, DGD in the same town as I (DGD will be promoted to a pharmacy here in my town). WS really really hates Evil Mom 😉
