Hi, lovely! Took much of the afternoon off away from the computer to rest those delicate orbs.
Listened to a number of CDs, placing some in the giveaway box and others back in the file cabinets. One giveaway which came to me in a box of CDs a friend was also giving away…is by Moby…strange compositions most of them…but this one is rather mesmerizing…LIVING…and the strangeness continues with the vid content…LOL!

The CD I have is a compilation of his works from 1993-1998. Seemed to be a lot of Techno and Synthesizer arrangements…not my favorites.
Thanks for your offerings, though. He has an unusual voice and possibly it would be more appealing to me without the heavy accompaniment. Many people love him, though, and more power to them.

Looks like Merkel got her hintern handed to her in the latest elections, her CDU and partner SDP got hammered. She’s stepped down from her position as party leader but says she’ll hang on to her post as fuhrerette until her term runs out in 2021…she hopes.
Let’s see who the CDU picks as new party leader, that will sort of show where Germaby’s heading. The Greens got a good showing as did the AfD )(a rightist party). Will the CDU partner with one of the old line parties that made a comeback or, as the CDU’s right of center, with the AFD? Germany’s starting to slowly roll back to the right, especially after the huge influx of immigrants, so something’s gotta pop.

The Left knows now as it did from 1945ish on that Germany is still THE power in continental Europe. Had Hitler not have defied his Generals and tried to fight a multi-front war instead of just smashing Russia in one fell swoop things might have been different but luckily he prevailed and while Russia still exists so do the rest of us.
Let’s hope that a nationalist Germany can convince the rest of leftist Europe to resist the Moslem invasion.

They will eventually. None are spring chickens!
That’s a demographic benefit of Trump becoming president. If he did not, none of the younger people here or abroad would have any idea of their reduced freedoms, and how to act to get them back. They would only be pushed further down to communism. We remember what things were like, but they do not.

Really? What do people do with them? Bag them and send them to a landfill? That’s a LOT of leaves!

We rake them to the curb, where they are sucked up by a big vacuum truck, then composted. All of our yard waste is composted, or (in the case of branches) ground up for ground cover. We get free compost back from the city.
Some communities bag their leaves (paper bags) and compost.

Good morning,
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:6
God laid the chorus of this song on my heart yesterday so I wanted to share it with you. This video is from a Billy Graham crusade in New Mexico in 1975.
About the first 3 minutes is Andrae’s personal testimony (which is wonderful). If you only want to hear the song start at 3:00.
ANDRAE CROUCH
Through It All Lyrics
I’ve had many tears and sorrows,
I’ve had questions for tomorrow,
there’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.
But in every situation,
God gave me blessed consolation,
that my trials come to only make me strong.
Chorus:
Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God
Chorus2:
Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.
Verse 2:
I’ve been to lots of places,
I’ve seen a lot of faces,
there’s been times I felt so all alone.
But in my lonely hours,
yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus lets me know that I was His own!
Chorus
Verse 3:
I thank God for the mountains,
and I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if I’d never had a problem,
I wouldn’t know that he could solve them,
I’d never know what faith in God could do.

I posted this yesterday over at the Treehouse and got not one reply, no traction, so let me try it here. Maybe the reason I didn’t get a reply was I just mentioned the meeting and not the possibilities.
I’m expecting the Saudis to announce a state visit, soon, by Putin. It’s part of a long ongoing plan that the Kashoggi mess seems to have put in full play. The Saudis have, by their clumsy actions, caused more than a little flap.
Turkey and the Saudis are not friends, they have a long history. The Ottoman Empire owned what’s now SA for about 400 years, it controlled Medina and Mecca and made no friends during that time. WWI crushed the Ottoman Empire and gave rise to SA and for about 50 years now both nations have been vying to be ‘the’ power in the Mideast.
On the other hand Iran’s been the major enemy of the Saudis for decades now and has worked to overthrow the Saudi monarchy. It leaves the US, the Saudi’s shower buddy since WWII, and Russia, Iran’s lap dog, in a new face-off in an old rivalry for oil.
Russia and Iran already have control over the South Pars natural gas field, part of the largest gas field in the world, with tiny Qatar controlling the North Dome and hosting the US CENTCOM forward headquarters and the other part of the field. We also have the Saudis with their oil reserves – and we still don’t know their true amount – and important US military basing that’s keeping Iran at bay.
Now that the Saudis made the same mistake the Russians did in publicly eliminating pests the Saudis are taking the brunt of the indignation of the US’s human rights crowd. This puts Trump, and the US, in a sticky position as we’re compounding the international embarrassment the Saudis are feeling by continually hammering home how awful the world is supposed feel about the assassination – just as we are doing with the Russian assassinations in Britain. We have two important nations who are playing important parts in the Mideast oil game both being chastised embarrassed and pummeled by the US and Britain sitting off in a corner. Both nations are keys to who controls and will control the Gulf and world access to important petrochemical reserves in the area.
So why not a Putin state visit to Saudi Arabia? Putin and the Royals work on an older political level that the US likes to say it doesn’t, they put the state above the individual. Both have no problem with using violence overseas to meet national goals, we say we don’t buuuuuut…..
They both want control of the Gulf, power and wealth and don’t care how they get it, they gots lots in common.
Russia could move some of its Naval forces into SA for warm water basing that would give it control over the Gulf and flank US assets in Qatar…quite possibly making Qatar rethink its relationship with the US, especially if Russia works a deal with its liquefaction plant, and give Russia a card to play against Iran in their dealings with Russia over NG.
To me this is perfect, the Saudis can play Russia against the US to stave off sanctions and use Russia to bring Qatar back into line. The democrats can be very helpful to Russia by pushing Trump – as part of their Dump Trump program – to hurt SA, thereby narrowing the SA/Russia gap AND when those $5 a gallon gas prices hit have further ammo they can throw at The Donald.
This is a situation with far-reaching effects. Russia is neck deep in the Mideast, active in Syria, Turkey and Iran while now getting a shot at SA while we’re sort of playing left-out. And I haven’t even mention China’s potential in the area.
Expect Putin, accompanied by his professional Mideast diplomatic staff, to make a state visit and set the table for future power moves.

Russia is just holding place for China in the Middle East, though they don’t know it. Russia is acting big when in actuality, as you know, they can’t compete.
How’s this for a scenario? When Russia messes up in the M.E., China will have it’s huge stock of military males chomping at the bit for something important to do and something to conquer. They will have already co-opted Asia, Central and South America plus black Africa. What’s left of the M. E. oil fields will be just the ticket to continue fueling their engines and keeping those restive males content.
I’d wager we have until January 2025. Whatever chump who thinks he can run the U.S. after Trump will step in some big shoes. But without the resolute personality and gamesmanship or even the real estate-type of ruthlessness, he won’t have a chance on the world stage. China will become the world power and there will be no human and no nation to stop her.

It all depends on population trends. China’s ‘one baby’ policy and the mass migration of rural residents to the big cities has caused population problems – low birth rates.
Estimates are that by mid-century China’s population will be greying while India’s will be mostly below 40 and heavily below 30. India’s population will also exceed that of China and between them they’ll have some 40ish percent of the world’s population.
Note how China’s making long term strategic moves against India such as surrounding it with dual-use naval facilities and attacking India’s water supply in Nepal and Kashmir with an attack on Bhutan never out of the question.
Russia’s going to have to go back to its Cold War strategy to fend off China. Though Russia would have real problems fighting China it has that Dooms Day plan it held over the US’s head still available to deal with Chinese provocation. It’s a far more dangerous world now than during the Cold War and I believe the Democrats are totally incapable of dealing with it.

I do believe China’s treading lightly as Iran’s a Russian client. Chins will make its presence known and wait for Russia to blink but all three will play each other.
China’s already made some basing moves in Iran at the Bandar Abbas and Chabahar ports but that was more a part of their plan to surround India than it is to block Russia. The Chinese are patient and they’re working to contain whom they see as their most immediate enemy – India.

Here’s one that went under the radar.
Russia’s nuke force was largely defensive, they knew if they attacked they’d get plastered and the US public was never informed about the psychological impacts that losing over 40-million Russians and the physical damages to Russian infrastructure within a 30-year span caused. We were told they were just waiting around the corner to nuke us – by both parties.
The Russians and the US held onto stocks of viable smallpox virus, both to ensure that we had a source of the virus to manufacture vaccines in case of a breakout. What we knew and didn’t openly release was that Russia used their stocks to manufacture THOUSANDS of gallons of virus to be used in biological warfare. Russia knew that we had a national shelter program so to ensure retaliation after a US first-attack the Russians would launch ICBMs with nukes first and, a bit later, ICBMs that would be tipped with hundreds of gallons of smallpox virus and/or some other bio agents they manufactured in massive amounts.
When the USSR crumbled they poured thousands of those gallons into pits on a secret island that’s no longer an island nor is it secret. The US spent millions digging up the pit and sopping the area with thousands of gallons of super strong disinfectant and hoping we got the stuff killed. That was in the 90s.
Problem is that after the USSR fell there was no real control over the bio agents or the dudes and dudettes who created it. Many were paid by the US not to work – something we do well – while some were traced to the Mideast. For years afterwards small amounts of the smallpox virus – some rumored to have been genetically modified to resist Western vaccines – keep popping up in abandoned plants, bioengineering refrigerators and many other places, so far none on eBay or Amazon but that may change. It’s RUMORED that China got its hands on some and it’s in its ‘biomedical’ system just in case (cough, cough) it’s needed to develop vaccines.
My grand and great grand children will be getting smallpox vaccinations if I have to go to India to get them.

We can boil it down to one word: petroleum. That includes natural gas. If we had other reliable and efficient energy systems and didn’t need oil the whole area would be back to giant catbox status.

We went to a funeral this afternoon of a gracious, southern lady. Although she was a founding member of our church, I had only met her in person once. After she moved to the nursing home my husband visited with her 2 or 3 more times at the home when he went to see another friend.
The thing that we know about her is she leaves behind a generous, sweet son. My husband said if we hadn’t moved to NC for our family knowing this Godly man (her son) would have been enough reason to move to NC.
The message and eulogy was a very quiet, humble message. They did not talk about the great things she did in her life they talked about the loving person she was. Yet we know one of her last random acts of kindness was to replace the playground equipment at the church play ground. We wouldn’t have known who did that except we had to go to the church one day when her son and his cousin were there putting the new equipment in. There is a big new storage shed out at the back of the church too. I just wonder …

This is the song we sang at the funeral today. I chose this version of it because it has Jimmie Jones, a Kentucky boy, doing a recitation at the beginning. I can well imagine he and our southern lady had similar memories of their childhood.
Precious Memories
Gaither Vevo
Precious memories, unseen angels,
Sent from somewhere to my soul.
How they linger, ever near me,
And the sacred past unfolds.
Precious memories how they linger,
How they ever flood my soul.
In the stillness, of the midnight.
Precious sacred scenes unfold.
Precious father, loving mother
Fly across the lonely years
and old home scenes of my childhood
in fond memory appears
Precious memories how they linger,
How they ever flood my soul.
In the stillness, of the midnight.
Precious sacred scenes unfold.
I remember Mother praying
Father too, on bended knee
the sun is sinking, shadows falling
but their prayers still follow me
Precious memories how they linger,
How they ever flood my soul.
In the stillness, of the midnight.
Precious sacred scenes unfold.
Precious memories fill my soul.

Help. My friend got a credit card in the mail today. It is very strange. On the card it says the owner is Du Cu, and her address. There is no acct. number on the card. However the paperwork says that the card is ready to use. She checked with Lifelock and they told her she had to call the company, Shell credit card co. We all know they are not going to tell her anything because that is not her name. But, it is her address. Anybody got any ideas?
LikeLiked by 1 person
It could be a scam. Tell her not to give anyone any personal information.
It could just be that Shell sent it to the wrong address since her name is not on it. She can also check with her local police station if she is worried about it. Once when I was in the station a gentleman came in with questions about an email. He had printed it out and the officer was really nice to him and explained as long as he didn’t respond to the email it would be ok. He also gave him some tips about scams.
Also my friend took a class at Best Buy about Credit Card Fraud, Phishing, and general fraud. She said it was very helpful, she is one of the sweetest people on earth and very trusting. She was scammed by two separate operations in one day, one claiming to be Mcafrey and one claiming to be Norton Anti virus 😦 .

I hope she does call and ask why this “person?” is using her mailing address. She may have to send them proof that it’s her residence to get them to do something about it. Very strange. I just got a call from Cali saying I was going to be arrested and it was a very serious allegation and I needed to call them back. This was an automated robo call and I’ve had tons of these… most seem to come around tax filing time. I don’t understand why/how these people are allowed to operate. Scammers gonna scam, I guess. I wonder how many people believe it’s a real thing?

This is an email I received today from the producers of the Gosnell movie. At the end is the letter that they are talking about.
Friends,
We had to share this with you.
It is one of the most moving letters we have received during the long production and distribution of the Gosnell Movie. It made us all cry.
You can watch Ann read the letter here. It is from Diane, a grandmother, who watched the movie little realizing that it would very suddenly and very tragically become relevant to her life.
Baby Boy A is the baby who led to the downfall of Gosnell and meant he will spend the rest of his life in prison and will never kill again. Shortly after learning about Baby Boy A’s brief but impactful life, Diane was faced with a tragedy that made her think all the more about his life. Ann struggled to read the letter, it is a difficult story but we are so grateful to Diane for sending us the letter about her grandson and allowing us to share it.
She is buying tickets in memory of Baby Boy A and her children and ALL her grandchildren. If you can’t go and see the Gosnell Movie consider going online and buying tickets to support what we are trying to do.
Gosnell is an important film that is impacting people in multiple ways. It has changed a number of people from pro-choice to pro-life. It has even saved a life – inspiring a woman in Bakersfield not to go through with her abortion.
So please share this video of Ann reading Diane’s letter and encourage others to see the movie or to buy tickets. So many don’t want this film to succeed – but with your help it will.
Phelim, Ann and Magdalena

We went to see Johnny English Strikes again. It was hilariously funny. Even when I quit laughing, I could hear other people just howling. Of course you need to be a fan of Rowan Atkinson. He is a spy who is retired and brought back into service because all the other spys are unavailable. Problem is, he isn’t up to date on all the new technology which makes some pretty funny moments along with his usual bumbling.

Oh, and something I liked, often when he went into a situation you knew already what was going to happen. So, often you started laughing before he actually did it.

I’m always reading here. Always.
I I’ve worked 80 hours in the last two weeks.
My parents paid my 3-mo. backed up rent. Out of the clear blue.
I still don’t have minutes on my phone, and I still can’t call them to thank them.
And I still don’t know what I could say, if I could. I’m lucky. And I’m stupid.
I don’t even know why you m’fer’s love me, but I sure as hell am glad you do.
i just emptied a restaurant in the last 2 days. Everything of value to the seller, my boss. We built that place. We filled a huge van and pickup with a high cap, five times each.
Some Chicago folks bought the place. Oh, well. He has five other buildings. He just bought one. I think he’s gonna make it a brewery. Like barrels-per-week.
What is wrong with me?
Why do I continue to place faith in this m’fer? He’s my friend. That’s why.
Him and I are on good terms now. I told him “PAY ME”. And he did. Finally. “Pay me or lose your best dude.”

Pleased to hear from you Wooly. Why do we love you? Because you are you Wooly. Simple as that.
Use your boss/friends phone and call your parents. Simple as that.
Bravo on your hard work!
Nothing is wrong with you Wooly. I’m on a bit of a personal journey with a friend. We send each other at least one positive quote a day.
“Life ain’t always beautiful but it’s a pretty good ride.” ___ Gary Allan after his wife the mother of his children committed suicide. Days later her parents took the children that were not biologically Gary’s away.
What’s wrong with you? Nothing. So stop using “What’s wrong with me? ” as an excuse to not live the life God has readied for you.

lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Well there you go Kanye is back in the graces of the lunatics.

I think he has a tremendous IQ . I think he is genuine. I think when he loved President Trump he really loved him and I think he is now sincere in his distancing himself from our President.
But.
I think he is under tremendous pressure to not be a Trump supporter not to mention that he does have some mental health issues.

I’ve never even heard Kanye’s voice, or a single song produced or performed by him. I have only seen his pictures, in articles.
I still listen to Billie Holiday and Sonny Boy Williamson II, and Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder and Prince.

And I know Sage Francis and Aesop Rock by heart.
Who the heck is Kanye? Why does anyone care?

One item I noted during his comments in the President’s office…he indicated that he’d been diagnosed as bi-polar but that it’s not true…the doctors didn’t diagnose him correctly or some such words. That type of talk is quite typical of bi-polar patients who don’t continue treatment or take their meds. They get to feeling really good because of the meds and think they don’t need treatment any more. His speech did seem very “manic-depressive” to me.
Bi-polar is a difficult affliction. I had a cousin so diagnosed and still have a niece who has that condition. It is very trying in every way and a lifelong ailment. Do doctor’s ever make mistakes in symptom diagnosis…of course. I truly doubt that Kanye falls in that category, however.
As for his leaving politics behind because of the immigration issue, I’d wager he’s taken a great deal of flack from his wife’s family on that, the Kardashian family history of “refugee” status and all. They or someone affiliated with them may have bent his ear and given loads of incorrect info to him.
Wonder what Candace Owens has to say about what’s happening with Kanye. He’s on the wrong side of the immigration issue now and won’t be in tune with any blacks except those who hate President Trump. Of the blacks I know (most are my age), they feel very anti-illegal immigration because it has affected them personally.

I believe Kanye is Bipolar Type 1 not 2, which would mean he has less extreme manic and depressive episodes than a bipolar 2 person. I frankly have no idea but he certainly ticks off a lot of the boxes for bipolar one with his public behavior.
I also believe that Kanye is likely off his meds as he said that a new doctor, likely a Conrad Murray type of doctor, told him that he is not bipolar he is simply suffering from sleep depravation.
He’s on the wrong side of the immigration issue now and won’t be in tune with any blacks except those who hate President Trump.
I would disagree that won’t be in tune with blacks other than anti-Trumpers, Kanye for all his faults can’t control his mouth and he will flip again, he has lost credibility within both sides of the black community, he knows where the love is and he knows where the hate is, when he is in any type of manic mood, depressive of happy that love and hate will be magnified.
In all honesty I am afraid that he is suicidal.

Tell me, when you fail item #1, and succeed at 2, 3 and 4, why Kanye is even important.
