    Well all those liberals up around Jackson and in the college towns patting themselves on the back for buying hybrids or all electric just gotta shock from the state legislature – a special tax! You gotta hybrid you pony up $75 on top of the regular taxes, all electric get $150.

    Thing is that Mississippi gets most of the money it uses for road work from a gasoline tax, that gas tax jes ain’t thayuh fo’ them e-lektrik cars so as they use the same roads as gas vehicles they should pay for upkeep. You’d think so but the greenie weenies are up in arms, they’re morally superior people helping the environment and those still using fossil fuels should pay the tax. This from folks paying more for their hybrid/electric than they would a comparable gas car, whining about an extra $75 to $150 a year.

      They should have expected it. Next on the political agenda, taxes based on mileage rather than fuel consumption.

        You know how solar is a huge deal in CA? Obummer had all the tax dollars sent to subsidize. People put them in like crazy. Then the electric companies really started complaining they weren’t going to make a profit. So the state added a surcharge onto each solar home as a grid access fee. Still not enough, so now they have a regular flat fee. Now Jerry Brown signed a law mandating new homes be solar.
        And the whole environmentally friendly thing has just gone out the windo w. The state niw recommends having battery back up to “make the grid more efficient.”
        Never mind all the mining and chinese govt involved production etc.
        Ill keep my traditional electricity.

    Im just not sure what to say here. But, a squirrel? At least its better than a mini pony. 😃

    “Police had to remove a woman who brought an “emotional support squirrel” on a Frontier Airlines flight headed from Orlando, Florida, to Cleveland.

    Frontier says the passenger had noted in her reservation that she was bringing an emotional support animal with her on Flight 1612 Tuesday night. But she did not indicate it was a squirrel.

    The airline says rodents, including squirrels, are not allowed. The airline says police were called when the passenger refused to leave the plane.

    Police requested the other passengers disembark while officers dealt with the woman, who was eventually escorted into the main terminals.

    The flight left for Cleveland about two hours later.

    Cindy Torak, the Ohio woman who was removed from the flight, recounted the ordeal to KTLA sister station WJW in Cleveland on Wednesday.

    She said she had obtained the proper letters to bring her 11-week-old squirrel Daisy on board, and her daughter even called Frontier ahead to get clearance.

    It was only once she got into her seat that it became an issue, according to Torak.

    “They said, ‘Either you walk off the plane or I’m going to arrest you for trespassing, and we will take that squirrel,'” she told WJW. “I said, ‘You’re not taking my squirrel. Sorry, you’re not. I refuse. You will not take my baby from me.'”

    Torak added that she is now speaking with an attorney, as she wants someone to be held accountable.

    “I politely informed them I will own a big portion of this airline,” she said. “I’m going for blood.”

    I overheard a conversation at lunch today about the local woman who molested her foster son. One lady was saying although it was pretty sick she shouldn’t go to prison for making a mistake and she heard the first time he came on to her and the other times it was mutual and he was old enough to resist her.

    The other lady told her the boy told a different story that she instigated it the first time but that he wanted to do it then. He didn’t want to do it anymore though and told her so and then she told him if he didn’t then he would get in trouble. So she argued to her that here he was a kid taken from his family and put in a strangers house who had total control over his life and within a month she was wanting to have sex with him. How could you expect a boy in that position to not do as he was told, especially as he had younger siblings also living in the home? Just for that reason alone she should be treated just like a man who molested a 14/15 year old girl.

    The other woman then argued that it was different for a girl and a boy just because of biology. A girl can be a participant in sex at anytime and isn’t as strong to fight back. A boy can only have sex if he wants to and can’t be forced to participate. So the boy is equally to blame because he obviously wanted to have sex with her and if she was coming on to him and he didn’t like it he could have told his case worker.

    The other lady told her that was a stupid excuse and he did eventually tell his case worker because she wouldn’t leave him alone. Which was a brave and hard thing for a mixed up boy in foster care to do.

    Listening to this conversation made me wonder if she gets a jury trial how many stupid women will be on the jury that thinks like this one? Will she get a stupid judge that thinks this way as well and give her a slap on the wrist because obviously the boy wanted it?

      CPS and the foster care system is a cesspool. It’s so sad how many kids go from one abusive situation to another.

        I’m not sure in this case exactly why the kids were taken away, however I do know they had a lot of extended family, all of which tried to take the kids. Each one was given excuses as to why they couldn’t be placed into their home, they had too many kids, not a big enough house, not enough money, too old.
        I saw them commenting all over FB after this happened, they were not happy campers. They did say it was family who went to DHS and would never do it again after what DHS did. They were told this was best for the kids because this couple had two biological kids who were doing well in school, both came from good families, both were teachers, had a big house and could provide the kids with anything they desired.
        After this happened the kids were put with their Grandmother who earlier couldn’t have them because she only had a 2 bedroom house.

        I’d like to be on her jury although I’ve publicly said to much about it so I’d never be allowed. lol

        I wanted to be on the jury of the local guy who shot a stupid kid trying to break into his Dad’s house while visiting. People whined and complained that they were just kids pulling pranks, ignoring that they were trying to open a window and were out past curfew. Also ignoring that there had been several break ins in that neighborhood. Back in by day you pulled pranks by knocking on doors and running away, not trying to open windows. Thankfully he got a jury with brains and was found not guilty the other day.

            I doubt they’d ever allow me either. I know they wouldn’t on either of these cases because I thought it was outrageous they charged the guy for defending his parents’ property. They gave in to parents screaming, “my babies shouldn’t be shot for being kids.” So the prosecutor would have kicked me off real quick.
            Then this other one the defense attorney would hate me.

              Remember the animals who surrounded a man’s home and were trying to break into his house finally he shot one of them on his porch and a jury convicted him. SMH

                I was worried about this one because he shot him in the yard and then the kid ran to the street. They tried to make it sound like he shot him in the street.
                The kid survived, but instead of his parents and the parents of the other teens using it to teach their kids a valuable lesson, instead they screamed how kids should be able to walk in their neighborhood without fear of being shot.
                The kid who was shot learned nothing and about 6 months later was arrested for breaking into a house and stealing a video game player among other things. I’m sure though it was just a prank just like when in the middle of the night he was trying to get into a window.

        I clearly heard the other black guy meaning not Don Lemon say Nig-roe I’ve listened several times and unless the guy has a speech impediment he meant to almost call Kanye a nigger. Imagine if this happened on Fox.

        Also the other black guy is a liar, Kanye did not have to turn around and ask someone what “Stem” meant he simply asked whoever was with him what the acronym stood for, Kanye knew exactly what Stem schools are about.

      I was horrified when I watched the clip. You could feel the hate the pure malicious spirit that came through them all as they mocked Kanye for simply telling people to think for themselves and to love. I believe Don Lemon has totally given himself over to darkness. He was absolutely giddy in a mean school girl way. I don’t know how old he is but he is as vile of a human being as they come.
