Beautiful Critters.

Spider Man Lizard

… this lizard really does look like everyone’s favorite Web-Slinger. Er, is this your friendly neighborhood Spider-Lizard?

This Mwanza Flat Headed Agama, which is native to Africa, was photographed by Cassio Lopes while on a trip to the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. And with its bright red torso and blue legs, the lizard looks uncannily similar to Spidey himself.

    Update on my granddaughter: Hubby, younger DD, and I got to hold and love on baby B yesterday evening. Currently she’s the most calm and mellow baby I’ve ever seen and has the sweetest angel face. Mommy and baby are doing so well and of course I can’t wait to get back to the hospital to see them. Y’all have a wonderful day… you know where I’ll be! 😉

    …As predicted, Democrats are launching a campaign to delegitimize the Supreme Court. The NY Times reports, Liberals Eye Far-Reaching Goal: Delegitimizing Supreme Court’s Conservative Majority:

    “This confirmation vote will not necessarily be the last word on Brett Kavanaugh serving a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court,” said Brian Fallon, executive director of the liberal group Demand Justice and the top spokesman for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

    Facing a Supreme Court controlled by five solidly conservative justices, liberals have already started to attack the legitimacy of the majority bloc and discussed ways to eventually undo its power without waiting for one of its members to retire or die.

    Some have gone as far as proposing — if Democrats were to retake control of Congress and the White House in 2020 or after — expanding the number of justices on the court to pack it with liberals or trying to impeach, remove and replace Justice Kavanaugh….

    “The legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned,” former Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. wrote on Twitter. “The court must now prove — through its work — that it is worthy of the nation’s trust.”

    Part of this is a true attempt to strip the conservative majority of power through court packing, but that’s something of a pipe dream.

    More likely, this is an attempt to intimidate the conservative justices into hesitating on decisions.

      My ironclad rule. Never ever piss off a judge. The democrats keep this up and old Ruthie Ginsburg may vote for President Trump in 2020. There is a reason Scalia and Ginsburg were such good friends. As much of an evil train wreck that Ginsburg opinions are on abortion, immigration, Obama ect. she in her own mind does find a legal justification for them.

      Ginsburg knows that there is no legal justification for delegitimizing the SCOTUS.

      She even said that what happened to Kavanaugh was wrong.

      This video convinces me that she is still alive and has not been replaced with one of those expensive lifelike Chinese robots. No way a robot would be programed to give this response.

    Donald Trump is not on the ballot in November. Senator Dianne Feinstein is.

    And so is Feinstein-ism, which is probably more important.

    Senator Feinstein is leading her opponent, Kevin de León, by 22 points in the polls. California may be a young and Latino-heavy state, but the Democratic party remains the party of little old sanctimonious white ladies — or, in the case of Robert Francis O’Rourke of Texas, the party of sanctimonious white prep-school toffs who run their political campaigns under pseudo-Hispanic nicknames in the hopes of knocking out an actual Latino senator in order to go sit with that little old sanctimonious white lady who pretends to be a Native American (seriously; Rachel Dolezal wasn’t available?) — and it is unlikely that Senator Feinstein is going down in political defeat, even though de León enjoys the official party endorsement.

    But there is an opportunity to strike a blow against Feinsteinism…

    The Democrats have created an environment that will render ordinary political discourse almost impossible for years to come, initiating an attack on fundamental democratic norms — and on decency, too. This has been shameful, and there should be a reckoning.

    That reckoning will not come from the New York Times or from the faculty of the Yale Law School. And it will not come from mind-killed partisans who will believe — or at least pretend to believe — anything that justifies and facilitates their pursuit of power. “She sounded credible to me!” they say. People who are telling us what we want to hear often do. That isn’t good enough — and this cynical smear campaign cannot be allowed to go unanswered. Everybody likes to think that they would have had the good sense and spine to stand against Senator Joseph McCarthy or the House Un-American Activities Committee.

    But as the Democrats in rodential retreat go slinking sideways away from this failed attempt at character assassination, what will we do? Not only in November, but after? They would very much like to make this election about Donald Trump, but this has very little to do with the president. They tried to do the same thing to Mitt Romney that they tried with Brett Kavanaugh, and they would have done the same thing if it had been President Romney naming a new justice.

    If you don’t punish a political party for this, what do you punish one for?

    Hollywood is still attacking the Gosnell movie and especially Dean Cain. They are asking for help:

    They want Gosnell to fail so we need you to ensure it is a success. It is crucial that the opening weekend is big – Hollywood really pays attention to the opening numbers, so we need you to turn out. Go to http://www.GosnellMovie.com/theaters and check where the film is playing near you. Keep checking the site because even more theaters are going to be added over the next few days. On the individual theaters websites, showtimes and tickets will be posted by tomorrow (Wed). If there is no theater near you we need you to buy tickets anyway. It would be a way to show Hollywood that censorship and bullying don’t work. If we get a big opening weekend it means they have to pay attention and discuss the reality of Gosnell and what he means for America.
