    Pitfichie Castle consists of a rectangular block dominated by a circular angle tower dating 1560-70.
    The castle was unroofed in 1796 and in 1936 the entire east wall and south gable collapsed prompting cries for complete demolition. Douglas Simpson, that champion of Scottish castles, was instrumental in preventing this.

    The ruin was sold in 1978 to Aberdeen antique dealer Mr Colin Insch who commenced restoration with work being completed in 1996. The castle is now a private residence.

    With its white harled walls and rugged skyline Pitfichie forms a beautiful addition to the landscape of Scotland – and one that was so nearly lost! – Scottish Castles Association

    Gregg Jarrett: In Kavanaugh battle, are Ford’s lawyers representing her, or the Democrats?

    Here is Ford’s exchange with counsel for the committee Rachel Mitchell at the Thursday hearing. Importantly, note how Ford’s attorney objected in an effort to stop her from answering:

    Mitchell: Was it communicated to you by your counsel or someone else that the committee had asked to interview you, and that they offered to come out to California to do so?

    Ford Attorney: I’m going to object, Mr. Chairman, to any call for privileged conversation between counsel and Dr. Ford.

    Mitchell: Could you validate that the offer was made, without saying a word? Is it possible for that question to be answered without violating any counsel relationships?

    Ford: Can I say something to you? Do you mind if I say something to you directly? I just appreciate that you did offer that. I wasn’t clear on what the offer was. If you were going to come out to see me, I would have happily hosted you and been happy to speak with you out there. I just did not – it was not clear to me that that was the case.

    Late night hello all.
    Yesterday after posting I got a call from school that kiddo peed in the outside bathroom then in the inside bathroom all over the floor. So I had to get him early and he cried when he saw me. This week has been emotional and rough but today, guess who had a fantastic day? They are usibg a sticker reward chart just for him while the other kids use tickets. He got all his stickers today. Ive got one for home too so he has continuity.
    We are seeing a lcsw tomorrow who specializes in kids so I have some insight before he gets tested
    Baby steps.
    I’ll let you know what she says.

          Very good stuff. I’m happy you like the 3 Stooges reference, I find if I can find a way to put a smile on my face while dealing with some of life’s difficult moments it helps remind me of the absurdity life and what is really important.

          PS The recipient of my last email about the on going problem told me yesterday that he finds email an insufficient means of communication and would prefer face to face conversations.

          So what did I do ?

      I was never a liberal, but the Clarence Thomas hearings were definitely a wake-up call for me. That’s when I realized that the media lies and is in cahoots with the Dems.

        Imagine what is going on with middle of the road democrats now? My pitchfork carrying friend, told me she will not discuss what is going on. She is very liberal. If it is getting under her skin I can’t imagine what is happening with Regan democrats.
