The full moon was absolutely beautiful tonight. The clouds kept passing over and then the brightness would shine through, followed by a full view. Sitting on my porch just taking it all in, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so huge and spectacular before.

This is sort of what it looked like…

This time of year makes me think of my fall trip all over New England. I really wish I could go up there for a longer stay. I’d eat blueberries and lobster, every day.

Those little wild blueberries are incredibly good. Way better than our berries down here.

Getting sick of all this “have you registered to vote” nonsense. Ugh.

Idea: if you need endless prompting to remember that you have to register to vote before you’re allowed to vote, you aren’t smart enough to be allowed to vote. 😡

Our jousung market is slowing and it might end up in a recession here. We will see. Prices are still outrageous but they are having to drop. Still, on the next street over 3 houses have come up for sale in 6 weeks. 1 got its asking, 1 dropped 20k then sold, another dropped 12k and is still sitting.
The chinese own thousands of our houses here in socal so if they have to sell due to economy at home it will play in our favor, I hope.
And the people who control the calpers public employees retirement fund are trying to hire a ceo who is a naturalized US citizen, from china, who still works with Chinese govt.
Between china and mexico, the dimms dont care much about us citizens.

At one time CalPers never spent a dime of their principal. All pensions were paid out of the interest, etc. they made. Investments were totally secure. Then, of course, the Assembly glanced CalPers way and got their grubby hands on the money and the board.

Giving over CalPers to a Chinese naturalized American who still works for the Chinese government!!! Guess they’re now showing what their true color is…red.

It’s more than time Americans recognize that China aims to rule the world.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Oh my gosh. It looks like lapd just arrested a serial killer. AN ILLEGAL ALIEN? previous deportation to el salvador. His aunt and uncle in texas are missing, so he fled here to CA and killed multiple people. This is a big story if anyone can investigate his status and publish this story beyond local media.

A man who fled Texas following the disappearance of his aunt and uncle has been linked to a series of violent beatings, three of them deadly, in downtown Los Angeles and Santa Monica, officials announced Tuesday.

Ramon Escobar, 47, was booked on suspicion of murder in the death of three men, LAPD and Santa Monica police said at a news conference. He was also detained on suspicion of attempted murder in the assault of four others, officials said.

Calling him a “violent predator,” LAPD Lt. William Hayes said Escobar’s main motive was robbery even though the victims all appeared to be homeless. Detectives also believed the suspect—who had a criminal history including trespassing, burglary and assault in Texas—to be homeless himself.

Houston police interviewed the suspect on Aug. 30 regarding Dina and Rogelio Escobar, his aunt and uncle who went missing days earlier, Hayes said.

Authorities suspected that after the questioning, the 47-year-old drove to Los Angeles.

On Sept. 8, Escobar allegedly attacked a person sleeping on the beach at around 6:45 a.m. in Santa Monica. That victim sustained trauma to the head but has since been released with no recollection of the incident, Santa Monica police Capt. Wendell Shirley said.

Two days later, Escobar carried out a similar assault near the beach and left a man in a coma, according to detectives.

He then allegedly traveled to downtown Los Angeles where, on Sept. 16, he attacked three homeless people sleeping along Flower Street.

Kelvin Williams, 59, and Branden Ridout, 24, died four days later, while the third victim, Tievon Harmon, 23, remained on life support, officials said. Authorities did not provide the spellings of their names.

According to detectives, the assailant hit each of the victims repeatedly with a baseball bat in the head and shoulders before going through their belongings.

On Sept. 20, Escobar allegedly beat a man to death under the Santa Monica Pier.

Although authorities initially described 39-year-old Steven Cruze Jr., as homeless, the victim’s family said he lived in San Gabriel and worked on charter and whale-watching boats. He sometimes slept in a hammock on the beach, his aunt, Christine Arias, told KTLA.

Escobar was arrested Monday in Santa Monica shortly after the beating of a homeless man in the 1500 block of Seventh Street, LAPD said. That victim also sustained blunt-force trauma to the head and fell into a coma, Wendell said.

When they noticed that Escobar, who had a distinctive gait, resembled the suspect described in the downtown L.A. attacks, Santa Monica officials alerted LAPD.

Detectives searched Escobar’s 2004 black Honda CRV and reported finding a wooden baseball bat and bolt cutters, believed to have been used in Monday’s beating.

Southern California officials on Monday evening spoke with Houston police, who were searching for Escobar in the disappearance of his relatives.

The suspect served time in prison from 1995 to 2000 in connection to a burglary, Lt. Hayes said at Tuesday’s news conference. Escobar was also involved with an assault in November 2017 and criminal trespassing in February, the lieutenant added.

It appeared that Escobar was previously deported to El Salvador for a felony, according to Hayes, who did not provide further details about that case.

Escobar, who was being held without bail, was scheduled to be arraigned at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday.
