I knew the letter was a problem when it came to physical evidence that the Scam side would present. They really have dug themselves into a deep hole with this one. Imagine the counter punch, imagine our President Trump thinking about this happening to his children and granddaughters.
PS. I believe someone posted a fake letter yesterday representing it to be the “Ford” letter but I was too tired to read about.

I found this video quite by accident, more like serendipity. The gent sums up why you shouldn’t just think Officer Friendly is your friend and I recognize what he’s saying. It’s a bit long at ~45 minutes but those 45 minutes could help save you years worth of problems.

By 15 minutes into this I felt like someone had been beating my eardrums to a pulp. Manic-depressive/bi-polar, fast talking but occasionally funny, I bet he figuratively drove his wife straight to a divorce lawyer. WOW! I agree with him, however, about clamming up.

Those officers questioning you are not officer friendly, their mission isn’t to prove your innocence it’s to catch a criminal and right now you are the closest thing.
Note that on those real-life police shows that feature real detectives talking about interrogations they all say it’s ‘suspicious’ to them when someone they call into the station for an ‘initial questioning’ in a major crime brings a lawyer, they all say some version of ‘innocent people don’t bring a lawyer when they talk to police’.

And cavities. And diabetes. And obesity. Etc., etc., etc…. Wow! In California and New York, if you give your kid a soda, the punishment may not be as bad as using a plastic straw, but it’s pretty bad. I’m being sarcastic, of course, but in actuality, doctors don’t want young children to have juice anymore and schools offer reduced fat milk instead of full fat and I’m not even sure they can get chocolate milk these days. Some of the changes seem invasive, extreme, and even ridiculous.

And just the other day I was on the NHIC website looking at a university medical school report that enumerated the positive aspects of people using dairy products including the limiting factors of dairy on some cancers and other diseases and refuting some of the more dramatic claims by other ‘researchers’.
Remember a few years back when we were cautioned to avoid ALL fats and how, over the years, the ‘latest and greatest’ medical discoveries have walked back that dogma? It’s getting to sound like a really expensive game of 3 card monte.

It’s really frustrating. They just change the rules arbitrarily all the time. I’m gonna keep eating bacon, beef, chicken, turkey, and eggs and ignore all the fads from here on out.

I wonder if cigarettes actually were safer back then. Probably fewer chemicals added to them. If they were the roll your own type, it would have been straight tobacco. I don’t know. Just wondering.

I have waged a campaign to convince my sons and daughters in law to get the heck off the juice kick for the kids. One family has really healthy practices, the other two not so much.
IMO you might as well give a kid a Coke as some of the colored liquid sugars called juice. No thanks. If you want them to have the benefits of fruit it is so much better to give them some fruit!

I don’t think kids should have juice frequently, but as a treat, I think it’s okay. Everything in moderation.

We had orange juice every morning with eggs & toast. Lunch and dinner had all the full fat milk we wanted. We never had soda in the house, drank water and iced tea between meals. On some Friday nights we had popcorn with pink lemonade or hot chocolate while we watched movies or played board games or jigsaw puzzles.
And see how great I turned out!!!

I usually give them whole milk or orange juice with breakfast. Their parents are prone to giving them cups of juice all day. That is not good for them. Too much sugar collectively and even though they are children, I’m betting it’s messing up their blood sugar and insulin production.

I always was kind with other kids and always got the best reports possible for good citizenship but I also always questioned everything and everyone. Some of my teachers weren’t so fond of that quality. The first book I remember reading that wasn’t a picture book is “Tell Me Why” 🙂 ! Read it from cover to cover.
Why, why, why? Now having raised myself in the form of my oldest daughter I feel certain that I likely caused some teachers to look at early retirement.

Last nite I was watching bit on Google done by 60 Minutes wherein they touched on the extraordinary access to the POtuS that Google enjoyed. It’s been reported on many times before (e.g.: https://googletransparencyproject.org/articles/googles-white-house-meetings) but the MSM just ignores it.

Sounds like it might work here too, the temperatures are about the same (average winter temp of +30 with dips to -25), but our limited winter sunlight (only 4 hours/day) might be the limiting factor. Sure sounds like a great system. Let us know what your DH thinks, Menagerie.
