Ive never seen a 2 headed snake and poisonous too. No Czar…it aint human. 😉
Video embeded.
“New details were released Friday about a two-headed baby copperhead found earlier this monthoutside a home in Woodbridge, Virginia.
The snake is currently being monitored by a state herpetologist after it was examined at the Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro.
“It appears as though the left head is more dominant — it’s generally more active and responsive to stimulus,” a spokesperson for the veterinary hospital said. “Radiographs revealed that the two-headed snake has two tracheas [the left one is more developed], two esophaguses [the right one is more developed], and the two heads share one heart and one set of lungs. Based on the anatomy, it would be better for the right head to eat, but it may be a challenge since the left head appears more dominant.”
Photos and video of the snake were going viral on Facebook after Powhatan-based animal removal business Virginia Wildlife Management and Controlshared them earlier this month.”

“Scientific studies behind Michelle Obama school lunch program retracted”
By Rick Moran – September 21, 2018
We all know that the nutrition industry has more than its share of fakes, charlatans, and snake oil salesmen. But it was thought that scientific studies published in the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) had the advantage of being peer-reviewed and critiqued by objective experts.

How they have fallen. It was a badge of honor at one time. Now becoming a joke like the faked climate studies. Too many “researchers ” being bought off.

I felt so sorry for the kids that were subjected to that food served up in school cafeterias. Not that school food is that great anyway, but during the last administration, it was downright disgusting and inedible.

I thought the food we had in school was good – that was in the 1950’s, of course!

Mine was in elementary school. It was made from scratch. Not so much after that.

I was in 5 different schools in elementary. The lunch varied. The worst to me was Georgia because they were given lima beans and we had them almost every day. There was no way in the world that I would eat them. Still!!!

I don’t like limas either, and I’m not a picky eater!

Lucky for me I was in the 5th grade and not the 6th grade, because the 6th graders had to eat everything on their plates.

Ugh. Lima beans are pretty tasteless. I just remember a lot of canned veggies. The worst was the mixed veggie one. Zero flavor.

I swear, they cooked those limas every which way they could. I remember creamed limas.

Casseroles like baked beans are the best way to cover up the texture and give them some flavor.

I would make the casserole and throw the limas in the trash. Well, it is okay to put the small ones (some) in veg soup and a few other things. (But, I have been known to pick them out) LOL

Thank you for your sympathy. It has been difficult. It happened only 63 years ago and I have never gotten over it. I think I will get a lawyer and call the FBI to investigate the mistreatment I received then. Of course, I am not sure of the school or the year I was there. {snort}

My mom was a lunch lady way back when (before I was born). They made everything from scratch.

That would have been wonderful and much healthier. I also think children were much healthier for it.

My mother worked in the school cafeteria from the time I was in 7th grade through my 12th. A lot of the food was from scratch; other dishes contained canned veggies or fruits. After all, this it was a public school and funds are limited unless people want to pay a lot more taxes.
Parents could always prepare a lunch at home to send with their children if they objected to the fare. Even though Mom worked in the cafeteria and I could have received a discount, I never ate there. It was cheaper for Mom to make our lunches, and we got to spend our time at the outdoor tables on the patio with our pals who also brought lunch from home.
Lunch ladies are hard-working. Mom worked with a wonderful group of women of all races and everyone was kind to each other…a great microcosm of America.

“…credibility of the nutrition industry…” – you mean they had some?
We drive down each year for grandparent’s day and have a school lunch with the GGS. It’s a carb-heavy disaster and I sort of feel sorry for the kids, especially those who may rely on them for much of their daily nutrition.
Even in New Orleans, America’s food mecca, school lunches were worse than pathetic. OK, the school admin folks at all levels were stealing every program blind but the cost of local NOLA/SE Louisiana seafood and produce should have meant they could have served an acceptable local meal and not that Yankee-invented crap that most kids just dumped into the trash.
Let’s go back to the Obama administration (hold your nose and swallow hard). The MSM was pushing them sooooo hard that Michelle could have recommended a daily serving of puppy or kitty for each student and the NY Times would be crowing about her gastronomical expertise and publishing their own recipes in their weekly menu. ASPCA would have been extolling the virtues of PETA bred on PITA bread (just had to add that one). No one would have dared question Michelle’s pronouncement’s, she was an empowered black woman married to the New America’s first black president who was so superior to mere mortals he received a Nobel Prize for just existing (The World’s Most Interesting Man). I’m surprised her school lunch work didn’t win her a James Beard award.
Even had her faulty facts been exposed it wouldn’t have been her fault, it would have been portrayed as yet another example of a brother/sister being led astray by the perfidious blue-eyed devil, she’d have been hailed as trying to save the children from the evil clutches of The Man.
BTW, note who’s obviously missing from the strategically placed ‘family’ picture in the carefully planned propaganda photo? Just Michelle…alone with her daughters…running as an individual without her hubby’s help…a strong, independent and lone black woman. Michelle, 2020…or soon thereafter.

In elementary we used to get Boudain and other yummy stuff. Kids are missing out on locally made cuisine, for sure.

I mean, why not buy locally, use local cooks and cook what the kids are used to? Try feeding NOLA school kids tofu burgers with carrot glace and arugula reduced in almond milk. That may go over in San Francisco but will be dumpster fodder here.

Right, I understand that and I completely agree.

Someone’s gonna tell me that these giant buffet ‘all you can eat’ eateries can feed a nation of gourmands, throw away as much food as they do and meet the overhead while making a profit and we can’t give school kids a solid lunch…or breakfast? That’s what happens when you put elected jerks in charge of something that should be done by business people.

What annoyed me was the fact that I think I read in Laura Ingram’s Obama Diaries where Michelle confessed that she hadn’t been feeding her kids properly. So, in traditional Nanny state fashion, she decided that she had to feed everyone’s kids properly. But she wasn’t a dietician and nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all-deal.
At least aura Bush only encouraged kids to read. Encouraging kids to read doesn’t require a specialized degree, unlike what Michelle My Belle decided to meddle in.

Every Rat 1st lady from Eleanor down had to fake an interest in some social issue to make her seem less imperial to the Great Unwashed. Michelle’s, from what I gather, was trying to hide her distaste for the Blue-Eyed Devils in general.

Our local schools have a farm to lunch program which involves locally grown foods, and the schools actually having a garden for the kids to grow things that the school actually uses.
My grand daughter was so proud of her class’s herb and flower garden! The different classes of her school had parts of the school property to plant things, and it taught the kids a lot about where food comes from, and the work involved.

I’m still trying to figure that out myself. Yesterday when I was coming in my front door, I caught a glimpse of something moving in my peripheral vision, which turned out to be a baby snake. I’m really hoping the neighbors didn’t witness my snake dance, but I scared the snake as much as it scared me, so there’s that. 😂

Once our Golden Retriver jumped in the pool in the winter. We had been lazy and not removed the leaves from the cover. He sank the pool cover, leaves and all, and his leash got tangles in the whole mess.
My oldest son and I had to get in the icy water and get him free, and he was panicking. Praise God it was in the shallow end. It look a long time, and we were all popsicles. We all loved that dog so much, but for a few days we held a mean grudge.
Then spring came and the boys had to get those leaves out.

My ex’s grandfather had a retriever that lived for the fall and bird hunting season. It was a more-or-less normal dog most of the year but as soon as you hit the first day of fall it would bounce and jump around, running back and forth to where Amos kept his shotgun, begging to go out and bag birds,
Pheasant, ducks, geese – all the same to that dog, it’s what it lived for. For much of the year it was ‘a dog’ but for those few months it was the happiest creature on earth.

According to https://wreg.com/2018/05/07/new-date-set-for-retrial-in-jessica-chambers-case/ Quinton Tellis’ new trial is set to begin September 24, so I guess that’s why they are showing the special last weekend & this week multiple times.

Obama has been out of office long enough and the tide is turning even in the courts, depends on the competency of the prosecutor and the jury but the longer we are removed from the stench of Obama, the more integrity we will have in verdicts.
I wonder what ever became of that really odd fire chief. Cat had me convinced that there would only be back woods justice served.

I doubt it’s been 45 here since maybe last March. Possibly it could have been in April but I don’t remember.
I do remember that year befor last winter lasted about two months later than usual and I was still freezing in May!

Freezing as in Texan freezing or freezing as in -20° 🙂 !

“Freezing” as in FL freezing, meaning it is under 60*?

LOL! It is actually hot in the sun here even though it is only 65° .

Hey, it was early cold all the way into May. If we have ever had -20 degree weather I have repressed that memory. I do remember some few times we got down to minus ten or twelve, could have been lower a time or two maybe.
But dang it, it ain’t supposed to be colder than sixty or seventy in May. Sometimes it gets really hot in May. Winter is usually almost completely over here by the end of February. Of course, there was that time we had our one and only (in my lifetime) blizzard in March. We all like to died that time. Mother Nature danged near depopulated the South.

Man, we had a 65° high today and I was whining like a baby that it was too hot in the sun while sitting in the car.
Let’s see how long it is before I’m longing for Spring 🙂 . Laves aren’t much to look at yet.
When I lived in Texas and our playgroup still met outside at parks when it was over a 100°’s outside I knew I would always be a Yankee.

It’s 65 degrees right now, heading for a 67! I’m trying not to turn on the heater until it is absolutely necessary…just added a scarf as I’m sitting at the computer, along with a sweater. The Panhandle is beautiful any time of the year…autumn is certainly no exception…

Arguing with a progressive.
Then they look at you, very seriously, point, and say “See? You’re starting to get it, now. WHERE DOES THE BREAD GO? I rest my case.” And then they walk away.
This is why I don’t argue with progressives. There’s no point. I literally smile and say, “Nope! I can’t argue with that!” And for most of them, even that goes over their head. You literally cannot argue with absurdity. It’s not possible, except for maybe with Zappa or Dali, which would be a neat conversation to witness.
I worked for almost 2 years with a really intelligent guy — both truly and definitely by his own lights –, when he met me he said, “Oh, you’re a Believer? We’re going to have lots of great conversations, admitting to me he is an Atheist.”
I said, “No, we’re not. Watch me.”
Speak the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words. I would amend, “…if possible, use words.”

We had mutually-enlightening conversations about politics, philosophy, culture, books, and music, but never about religion. I said, from the get-go, it’s not going to be a conversation about my religion, you’re going to watch me, and work with me.
I hope he gets it a little bit more now.

Wouldn’t the porog just say that the bread was raised to a higher level of social awareness? Social engineering just made the bread ‘toast’.

And to those of you that say the white bread was just turned into a bread of color…fie on you!

That’s rather flat reasoning. Brown wry bread because is still a whitey no mater how Shaun White it may wannabe.

I’m on the iPad, and I can’t (okay, won’t go to all the PITA trouble) post the picture of my favorite, and that’s a shame because words can’t describe it well. It’s awesome.
It has an angle on it and the pi symbol. Translated it says I’m acute pi.
Okay, the combination of math and pun gets me.

Sooooooo……
This is the meme that got James Woods suspended from Twitter.
His alleged crime? Trying to influence an election by using false information 😜.
Scott Adams agrees with the suspension because he believes that the meme meets Twitter’s criteria for suspension 😂 Scott believes 30% of people are missing the humor gene. Even when I disagree with Scott’s conclusions I conceded that it would take a lot of words to logical refute his path to his conclusion.

No way in hell this is nearly as bad as the sh…crap the left gets by with. I’m not in favor of saying Twitter, Facebook, google, or any of the others is justified in the enforcement of their own rules until they apply to everyone the SAME.

Twitter accepts paid ad promoting female genital mutilation

Would Twitter run a paid ad opposing jihad terror? No, I don’t think so, either.

We need to start tweeting progs’ vile tweets as our own, get banned, and point to who said before us. . . . Or at least retweet, with disclamer of not an endorsement, some of progs tweets that are breaking twitter rule every which way.

Sadly the powers that be do not care, Candace Owen did exactly that and got suspended. The Left is full of bullies without consciences.

And my medical ‘experts’ are STILL counseling me to avoid dairy as it’s injurious to my health and offers few benefits to adults.

I get a little tired of the ‘newest, most bestest and final word’ medical science changing about as often as I buy socks.
I wonder how much outside influences such as animal rights folks and wacko environmentalists worried about cow farts influence these wild changes?

Lactaid makes good milk and really good ice cream, which is what I buy. I can’t consume either of the regular variety at all. For some reason, I seem to be able to tolerate sour cream in small amounts.

Leftism is about inflicting harm on those who disagree.
Part of the reason we’re seeing unprecedented levels of leftist insanity is that they’re telling us, “If you throw us out of power, we will f*ck you up.”
It’s a form of extortion.
Well, they will harm us whether we leave them in power or remove them from power.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
