You mention that and I immediately feel around my lower right rear molar. My heavy drinking dentist friend glued a temp cap on over twenty years ago and its still ‘temporarily’ there.

That’s why I liked Bubba, he was a great guy who drank with his patients. OK, sometimes he drank before the procedure but no harm.

I used to love their fries and nuggets. They had some kind of lawsuit brought against them about the oil they used to fry them. They had listed their fries as vegetarian, but something about the oil made them not vegetarian. Don’t remember the details, but when they changed their oil, all the flavor was gone. I wish they had just left the oil and dropped the vege label.

Many years ago a little Mexican lady came to show our class how they made tortillas. She had been making them since she was about 4. Anyway, we all had our turn to try to make one and then she put the lard 😯 in the pan. I cringed because I didn’t eat pork or beef. But, I didn’t want to be rude so I tried one…………and 😯 it was the best tortilla I ever tasted before or since. LOL

I just jammed out to that song on a public, outdoor piano we have in town. People coming and going into the antique shop.
Whatever key that song is in is really tough. Mostly black keys, but since it’s ten minutes long, it’s easy to find a groove, and figure out which notes not to hit.
It’s fun. People stop and video me. First they wonder where the sound is coming from (the JBL Charge 3, attached to my bike), and then they wonder what this guy is doing to that piano, and why he’s having so much fun.

I’ve seen this piano covered with two, three feet of snow. It’s been there 10 years or more. Sad shame. Someone keeps it in tune, though, and working properly. I hear they’re about to get a new one. I told the anonymous worker who told me this, “Please tarp it in the winter months. People who want to play it will do so, and re-tarp it when they’re done.”
We have a popular biking trail in SH, called the Kal-Haven Trail, that goes all the way to Kalamazoo — used to be a railroad line. Some couple had a wedding, I’m told, as I’ve never rode that trail, and brought an actual console piano onto the trail for the wedding, and left it there, on the trail, for anyone to play.
I wish I had gone and found it.
I hope someone took it home, but I don’t at the same time. Maybe it’s still there.
