September 13, 1963: US performs underground nuclear test at Nevada Test Site.

One hundred above-ground nuclear tests were conducted at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) between January 27, 1951, and July 17, 1962. On August 5, 1963, the Soviet Union and the United States signed the Limited Test Ban Treaty (LTBT), which prohibited nuclear tests in the atmosphere, under water, and in space. From that time, until the end of testing in 1992, nuclear tests at the NTS were conducted underground.

After the nuclear detonation in a shaft, a formation called a “subsidence crater” usually occurred. Such craters are not caused directly by the nuclear blast itself, but from the earth’s surface sinking due to the void created by the underground explosion’s liquefying of surrounding rock. Some subsidence craters formed shortly after the detonation, others took much longer to develop. Visitors can view subsidence craters in the Yucca Flat areas of the NTS during public tours. Some tours include driving into the large crater created by the 249-kiloton Bilby test, detonated September 13, 1963.

Bilby’s crater is 1800 feet wide, and 80 feet deep. The device which created Bilby was set off 2400 feet underground.

Some might think I’d be for this, but I’m not. I think all people should be treated equal, but Indians, including my tribe the Cherokees are not treated equal.
Not to mention, should a representative be sponsoring a bill that will directly benefit him and his family? Mullin is not half Indian, so with this bill if it passes him and his family will become exempt from property taxes.
BTW, my family would benefit from this bill as well since our CDIB cards show us being under the half rule, I still am opposed though. I am opposed to Indians being exempt even if full Indian.

So I have heard rumors that say that John McCain, who is apparently the only veteran the MSM ever liked at least after he started “resisting” Prez. Trump, is not the great War hero the media now makes him out to be. (Though he certainly beat his Veteran card to death when thought it would get him somewhere.)

Can someone please tell me what exactly is the story behind John McCain? I mean, I hear he got shot down and became a POW, but then I hear that he shouldn’t have been allowed to fly to begin with. What is the truth about the man?

Also his name in the POW camp was Songbird. He gave so much info, the Russians were very impressed. USS Forestall, on fire, all flight deck firefighters were killed by the second explosion. So what does Daddy’s boy do, hops a flight with a reporter into Saigon for two weeks of leave.
He is a traitor, plain and simple, back in the US, two-three high ranking POW officers wanted to file chargers for treason. McCain received two pardons, all other POWs received one.
Review his Senate record, did he do anything for Vets? Traitor…….

He sure as hell was never on my Xmas card list. Note that the author also said what I said about McCain being a part of the cabal to get rid of ALL of the POWs from WWII thru Vietnam .
I pointed out before that I was part of a team that reviewed the debrief records of Korean War POWs where we found that the official line regarding them we’d been fed for decades had overtones of rural fertilizer about it. Looking back on that and the stories we’ve been fed about WWII allied POWs repatriation I can see clearly why they wanted to bury the entire issue.

Thank you czar and Col Ken for the information. Wow. I’m reading the war secrets one – had to get back to my computer first as I didn’t want to try and read it on my phone. Just…wow. How many men did McCain make sure were never rescued, released, found, brought home?

At the risk of speaking ill of the dead, oh, who cares? As many men as that scumbag left to rot overseas? Apparently more people need to speak ill of the dead, and maybe the rest of the country will start to listen.

            Wow. Just…wow.

Sorry, I guess I didn’t make that post real clear. :/ I find unreal that someone who’s allegedly this great war hero would be so concerned about hiding information related to other men who might have been prisoners. He must have been afraid that something really bad would have come out.

And TBH, the idea that America left soldiers behind to die at the hands of the enemy doesn’t make me real happy either.

Well, as a starter, there were an estimated 25,000 Allied (many US personnel) POWs in the eastern staklags overrun by the Russians whom FDR and Churchill let the Russians keep as part of the deal on ending WWII and just getting stuff rolling again. Russia had lost so many men in the war, military and civilian, that bodies were needed to reconstruct Russia. The Reds kept the German POWs and some of them who managed to come back talked about how they were used to rebuild Russian infrastructure and how they saw Allied POWs being used too.
It was Kissinger’s idea to dump the Vietnam POWs to get the peace talks rolling and as the US backed out of the deal to refund much of the North’s infrastructure it bombed there was a second cause for the POWs to disappear. Kissinger/Nixon promises billions for rebuilding, backs out on the deal and Hanoi says screw it, we keep ’em.

March 1991, 37th Engineer Battalion blowing up Iraqi ‘ammo’ bunkers at Khamisiyah. Estimated 5000+ US troops downwind were exposed to fallout from what were largely Russian chemical weapons stored there.
Troops had copies of Russian manuals on the weapon’s maintenance, pictures of the racked and stored weapons and reported them. Upper echelon confiscated manuals and pictures and allegedly warned participants who directly saw the weapons the issue was classified and they’d better not talk about them ever. Bunkers were blown but NO warning was given downwind as issue was classified.
We had ex-BLOC troops deployed there and when they came (Czechs, Poles who really maintained their equipment) they brought their own ex-BLOC equipment. US chemical alarm systems mounted on our vehicles did not sound but the ex-BLOC troops’ vehicle alarms went off like a flock of canaries. BLOC folks suited up, US troops were told that the BLOC alarms were malfunctioning and not to bother.
Thing is that US alarms were set for what were basically US concepts of how BLOC chem weapons were formulated while BLOC alarms were formulated for US-chem weapons and how BLOC chem weapons REALLY WERE formulated. BLOC was worried that their weapons might come back on them so the set their alarms just in case.

I don’t know if any here are familiar with Derrick Wilburn of Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives. You might remember an incident recently in DC where a black intern was refused Uber ride for wearing a MAGA hat. The young man was part of senate/congress/wh intern program for black youths. Anyways, he needs help. ….being sued for one of his articles. He is not asking for much.. Hinting here for this to be posted in comments next door..

    “Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives

Asking for help isn’t easy. At least not for me. Personally, I’d rather dig ditches in 120 degree heat or subzero freezing temperatures than stand on a corner holding a sign. But, as I find myself in the position of needing some a friend told me “You know there are people who’d WANT TO help, who’d leap at the chance but by not saying anything you’re robbing them of the opportunity. They’re called ‘supporters’ for a reason.” So here goes. This is a personal letter from me to you, know that for me this isn’t easy:

My name is Derrick, my wife & I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado together with our 3 children. I founded the RMBC (originally ‘Rocky Mountain Black Tea Party’) 8 years ago in my backyard out of nothing more than a desire to make a difference for the country I love. That desire along with a small crew of dedicated people led to this page, the filing & granting of 501c3 status, other websites & blogs, street outreaches, workshops & speaking engagements, training videos, an internship program and more.

But this isn’t about the RMBC it’s about me personally. You may or may not know this, most do not as I haven’t talked about it, but I am being sued.

I also do punditry work. The platform of the RMBC combined with some God-given gifts opened the door for me to research & write nationally-published columns. I’ve written for American Thinker, Federalist Papers, Strident Conservative, Allen West among others. It’s rewarding but not without risks. One of those risks is that some offended party might lawyer up. That happened earlier this year when myself + several others were named as defendants in a lawsuit brought in March in the state of Virginia.

I’m not going to give credence to this asinine accusation by posting about it here but the curious can go to any search engine, search keywords “Derrick Wilburn Alex Jones Allen West lawsuit” or some combination thereof and find all the information you’d care to read.

At issue is a column I wrote & was broadly published. I broke no laws nor standard protocols of journalism. The plaintiff who brought the suit is well-known & claiming ‘defamation of character.’ The lawsuit itself is entirely frivolous & not jurisdictional to boot. We ultimately will prevail – but you still have to defend yourself. That’s not cheap.

My wife & I are not wealthy (financially, that is. LOADED in other respects), we of course had to hire someone to represent us & now find ourselves in the position of writing checks to an attorney we’ve never met – other than a voice on the phone. He’s in the state of Virginia & doing great work on our behalf, which entails the typical lawyer stuff – paralegals logging research hours, showing up in court, filing motions to dismiss, etc. All of which racks up billable hours. That’s how it works.

Life on the frontlines can get ugly, ugly can take a number of forms – nasty emails is one of them, “expensive” is another. If you are blessed, willing & able to chip in to help with this burden we’d be deeply appreciative. I’ve set up a Go Fund Me which is linked below. If you are led to contribute know that this is to help me personally, NOT the RMBC. There is no tax-deductibility available & you’ll have nothing to show for your act of kindness other than whatever peace of heart & mind the Lord bestows upon you.

    Thank you, patriots.

FBI WON’T investigate Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh following Democrats’ mysterious last-minute #MeToo accusation that dates back to high school – and decides to share it with the White House instead

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6165337/Brett-Kavanaugh-hit-11th-hour-mystery-letter-MeToo-attorney-involved.html

The Washington Post reported Thursday evening that the FBI handed the senator’s materials over to the White House instead of opening a probe, and considered it an update to his background check file.

‘Upon receipt of the information on the night of September 12, we included it as part of Judge Kavanaugh’s background file, as per the standard process,’ an FBI official told the Post.

The New York Times reported Thursday that Feinstein received a letter about the unspecified allegations against Kavanaugh ‘this summer’ – meaning she may have held onto it for dramatic effect at an inopportune moment for Republicans.

Debra Katz, a Washington, D.C. lawyer best known for representing women who make ‘#MeToo’-style accusations against powerful men, is reportedly representing the unnamed woman. Katz was seen leaving Capitol Hill on Wednesday night.

Feinstein is the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, which is considering Kavanaugh’s nomination. Republicans are pushing to confirm him to the Supreme Court by Oct. 1, when its next term begins.

A tight-lipped Feinstein had released a cryptic statement saying that the woman who provided the information about Kavanaugh ‘strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision.’

Buzzfeed claimed Thursday that it believes it knows who Kavanaugh’s potential accuser is, and has for at least a week, but hasn’t been able to reach her to confirm it.
