Made the grand mistake of reading some of what the hideous filth known as Barack Obama and George Bush said about our president at the Trump hate fest.
I’ll leave McCain’s daughter alone other than this, when my dad passes, and it brings tears to my eyes just to think about that day, I hope a giant anvil falls out of the sky and crushes me to death if I am so petty, mean and hateful as to to not simply sing of his goodness rather than insult the people he hated. I have no doubt Meghan loves her father with all her heart but by attacking President Trump she revealed that in some area of her consciousness she knows her father was partially monster. Meghan gave homage and credibly to her father’s enemy by attacking him with breath batter saved to speak of her love for Senator, POW, John McCain who should have been, above all, dad to her.

Exactly, this wasn’t a funeral, it was a conclave of swamp monsters trying to bash Trump and save their privileged positions. Then again as McCain was always a squishy political tool perhaps it’s fitting he goes out the way he came in.

I spent time this morning talking with someone waiting to have surgery. Before they ask God for anything, they thank Him for their many blessings. So through our tears we recalled all the things we have to be thankful for. One thing we are both thankful for is that we are so blessed to be born in this great country of ours.

Stella, I have really enjoyed the pictures this week. So many people give so much, not only for themselves and their families, but as productive members of our society who want to contribute, to build, to serve.
We don’t think a lot about so many people who just make things happen every day. You gave us a time to stop and think about that.

I bet it was! Not nearly so exciting as that, but tomorrow we are going to hear Gov. Abbott, Ken and Angela Paxton, Ted Cruz (not a fan, but I’m gonna hold my nose and vote), and some other local politicians rallying for the November elections.

Ted is a vote for President Trump’s agenda. think of it that way, disembody Cruz from who he is and whittle it down to voting for our president’s agenda.
It may save you some sleepless nights.
I have to vote for Walker in November. I cannot politely express how disappointed in him I am.
WI is a big deal ever since Prop 10, notice Walker was first out of the establishment candidates, notice Harley is the first huge known as American company to spit in President Trump’s face.
The WI republican party is going to do everything that it can to get Paul Ryan as the 2020 nominee and when that fails they will work vigorously behind the scenes to elect Trump’s democratic opponent.
The only way Paul isn’t running against Trump is if POTUS has Paul, his wife or his in-laws freedom dangling by a thread.

Tiresome though. Especially now that we know that the only difference between people like Scott Walker and Hillary Clinton is the words they use to enhance their bank accounts and embolden their power.
Simply terrible people.
Walker has a script he has to follow or he will be run out of town but his script is just talking points, it can be nothing else or he would not have so maliciously and ungraciously left the presidential race.
98% of the people we thought gave a darn about America, the rule of law, the Constitution , are just BS artists who have been conning us for decades.

That’s exactly the way I’m looking at it. Walker and Ryan are both skunks. I’m sorry you are in the same boat. Paul Ryan needs to slink away and not show his smarmy face in politics again. And I’ve thought for a long time his wife was pulling his strings. He’s a puppet.

Vukmir is filth, but she’ll vote Trump’s way to keep her money and power, Baldwin is filth and she’ll fight Trump to keep her money and power. So Vukmir gets my vote 😡.

None with integrity or honor. The thing is, an arrest means the odds of frequently having done the thing the arrest was for, prior to the actual arrest are pretty high. Its just finally they got caught.

What a nice circle of friends you have.
I’ve had a “Sunday crush” on Clarice since I first read her (maybe a year ago?) – she rocks! I don’t know if it’s coincidental but I was able to start reading her works not too long after Charles Krauthammer stopped writing.
I gather CK is not super loved on our side atm but as I see it his hard honest work helped me and others through a rough time in 2009 (I was of course already a fan from long before) and after when the world started to seem a bit alien. His thought process was what I cherished the most and what I read for – kind of like a reality check; which I think is important for me.
I see the same light of Clarity in Clarice and it is such a blessing. I can’t remember right now the first article I read of hers (trying but forgetting) yet I know she had me at hello with that rease’s pieces schtick. I was like “I think I’m gonna like this lady…”
I wasn’t wrong.

Clarice is a lot of fun. She is a Facebook friend, and posts lots of info there. She also sometimes uses ideas she gets from her Facebook friends in her columns! If you belong to Facebook, look her up.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
