    Looking up pinball machines and thought of The Who and Tommy. A refurbished pinball machine, only $6500 bucks. Delivery another $600. Holy smokes. Next time I see a real pinball machine I will have to give it a spin since they seem to be quite the luxury item.

          Well I hope you are making it beautiful for her 🙂 !

          True story. I had a friend (she is a former friend ) who moved to Florida, she didn’t want to fly down to look at houses because she really didn’t want to move there but that is where her husband’s job ended up taking him.

          Anyhow she trusted him to buy a house, so he did.

          She got down there and all she did was whine about the “Sh*t-Shack” that Jeff had bought. He sent me a bunch of pictures and told me she just didn’t want to live in Florida.

          The house was beautiful, huge, ceramic tile throughout, an indoor pool enclosed by glass, (she couldn’t use the pool because she was afraid a snake would get into the house some how.

          SMH.

    Yesterday we had two storms come through. Neither lasted very long, but we got almost 2 inches of rain. Often when it rains like that here in FL it just get hotter and more humid afterwards, but yesterday it cooled off. A lot. I stepped outside and got a chill. So I checked the thermometer and it was 😯 …..71*. 🙄 I didn’t realize 71* could feel that cool.

    Well, the good news is that they were updating the software on my cable and so it was down ALL day and I couldn’t see any of the McCain goings-on. The bad news is that cable was down all day and I couldn’t see anything. {sigh} The really bad news is that it didn’t download right and about 7:00 PM they restarted the download that had taken over 12 hours to do. {sigh} More bad news, I was reading here and lost the Internet. I would almost get something back and it would go down again. Then, when I did get back on, I couldn’t get back on my email account. 😕 Don’t know what that was all about. I finally got it, but what a mess.

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

    Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

    Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

    Joke of the day. I’m sure I’ve see this before, but it’s still funny:

    A little girl leans into a lion’s cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her under the eyes of her screaming parents.

    A biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back, letting go of the girl, and the biker brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him profusely.

    A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, ‘Sir, this was the most gallant and bravest thing I’ve seen a man do in my whole life.’

    The Harley rider replies, ‘Why, it was nothing, really. The lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.’

    The reporter says, ‘Well, I’ll make sure this won’t go unnoticed. I’m a journalist, you know, and tomorrow’s paper will have this story on the front page. So, what do you do for a living, and what political affiliation do you have?’

    The biker replies “I’m a U.S. Marine, a Republican and I voted for Trump”.

    The journalist leaves.

    The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads on the front page:

    **U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT & STEALS HIS LUNCH.**
