Of course, you may stay, and it would be better for you to pick a new name (you could just add a letter or number). If you DO change your name, you will have to go through the approval process one more time. Every “new” user first comment goes to the moderation queue the first time. Alternatively, you can pick a Gravatar (picture) that will identify you. Sorry it took so long to approve you, but I was sleeping at 4:41 am!

My Caturday is special this morning…my beloved “Squeaks” decided to chase the neighborhood rabbit a few days ago and he disappeared. I’ve driven the roads for miles, checked the railroad tracks, notified everyone to be on the lookout and lost my voice calling for him to come home.
Last night about 11:30 in the evening, I opened the door to once again call out his name in hopes that if he heard me calling, he’d come home and there he was…cold, dirty, hungry and oh so happy to be home. God returned my companion safe and sound and Squeaks is ‘Home at Last”.

You can’t see it in the picture but he’d wrapped his paws around my two fingers and he wasn’t about to let go…it was so sweet.

Good thinking. I live in a busy area, so my cat can’t go out – period. She slipped out the back door twice, but I was able to lure her back in using canned chicken.

In England, they would call him “A Dirty Stop-out”. Lol, I’m so glad he made it home. Makes you wonder what kind of adventure he’s been on.

LOL…he was definitely living up to the “dirty” part. Squeak was more gray than black when he came home and his hair was matted with various grass seeds. If’n I had to guess, I would say he was probably exploring the grain elevators and chasing mice.
