    Good morning, all! Found this interesting tidbit and thought I’d put it up here, though I think Mustangs were yesterday.

    Ford has unveiled the next generation Mustang Cobra Jet. “Capable of topping 150mph with quarter-mile runs in less than nine seconds,” and priced at around $130K, there will only be 68 made as homage to 1968’s introduction of the first Mustang. (Wow. I was just 19!)

    I feel like I’ve been rode hard and put away wet the last couple of weeks. I’m trying to cross some stuff off my to-do list and it’s not going too fast.

    I finished Hemingway a couple weeks ago for the Great American Read, then Jane Eyre and A Separate Peace. Out of 20 books I have 7 left to read before October 31.

    I’m reading The Shape of Water right now, which does not count towards the Read. Found a 50 cent Kindle version of the Count of Monte Cristo, which does count, and then I got The Great Gatsby from the library, which also counts.

    20 books didn’t sound like a lot when I started, but wow, now it does, even to a book lover like me.

      I haven’t read the article yet but the revocation of security clearances is beautiful. The clearance in and of itself is really moot as the holders do not have access to information they simply do not need to be cleared if a situation were to arise where their help was needed.

      Now they are banned. Kicked to the curb. Sent home with no toys and no cake. A sharp stick right in the eye and their problems aren’t ending there.

      The revocation in my opinion is brilliant gamesmanship, President Trump is humiliating them and that means we are getting closer to the gallows march. It’s a giant FU from President Trump to Team Obama/Hillary.

      I believe President Trump is slapping them on the cheek and sending them fishing with Al Neri in the style of Michael Corleone.

      It is apparent from the below Maddow interview that Brennan is an entirely different man than he was a month ago.

    Crappy Southwest cattlecall flight. TSA Pre check is a waste as they advertise you don’t have to take off your shoes or belt but you still have to go thru the metal detector and if you beep you have to take off your shoes and belt. So what’s the difference – if you wear no-beeping stuff you can go thru the regular line and save $85.
    Thunderstorms in NOLA delayed flight, flight was packed with wide people.in.narrow seats and when we hit Houston.the ground temp was so hot they asked us going thru to Dallas to close all of the window shades to.help the plane’s AC manage the heat. The plane was again stuffed with passengers and the inside was an oven while they waited clearance to take off.
    Compensated for bad flight by a big meal in a good Korean eaterie.
