Patty Murray: “Women are More Able to Participate Equally in Our Country” If They Can Abort Their Babies

Both Patty Murray and the other Washington Senator, Maria Cantwell, list themselves as Catholic. But do they really believe Catholic doctrine or the Bible where it says in Psalm 139:13-22 (The Message version)….
13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.
17-22 Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!
God, I’ll never comprehend them!
I couldn’t even begin to count them—
any more than I could count the sand of the sea.
Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!
And please, God, do away with wickedness for good!
And you murderers—out of here!—
all the men and women who belittle you, God,
infatuated with cheap god-imitations.
See how I hate those who hate you, God,
see how I loathe all this godless arrogance;
I hate it with pure, unadulterated hatred.
Your enemies are my enemies!

Big fires here in socal. Cranston fire in Idyllwild and another in pinyon pines. Arson and they caught the guy who started the biggest, Cranston. Up to 7500 acres. Its in the mountains but above desert on the way to palm springs. Its been miserable hot still. Late start to summer but fire season stays year round anymore. I hope its not like last year or worse. Humidity is much higher this year but no rain. I hope we can get a couple surprise storms.

Mornin’ Gil. Thanks for the info. I also see that evacuations have been ordered for residents west of Redding, due to the 28,000 acre Carr wildfire (only 10% contained). Prayers for the firefighters continue…

Yes. Moonbeam declared state of emergency pretty quick. Arsonists are really dangerous. Those fires up north just get so big! I just hope carr fire gets under control before it destroys historical areas.

The Redding fire is up to 50,000 acres now, with only 3% containment, and spreading north and south. It has entered the west side of the city. Reports on the ground (a friend there) say there is “no stopping it”. Three dead so far, two of whom are firefighters. They have given up trying to save structures and are concentrating entirely on evacuating people and animals.
Check hashtag CarrFire on twitter for more information.

It’s just taken some time to adjust to things at the new location. Mrs. Nyet is still up in Seattle for a few more weeks. I keep hearing about the heat wave up there and how unbearable it is at 89F. Then I go walk to the store at the new place which got up to 117F the other day.
LikeLiked by 7 people
Well, 89* can feel awful when the humidity is high, but quite tolerable when it is low. I’m betting 117* has really low humidity! We have had a week of DRY air, so working outside at 80* and up to 90* has been actually nice. Dry for this part of the world is 50% humidity, mind you, not 5% like in Utah.

I’m hoping we get above 60* today! Had nothing but clouds and rain for a week. Had to turn the furnace on yesterday for a few hours to take the damp chill off. And I’m wearing fleece with wool socks (house rule: no furnace if you are only wearing cotton).

😯 60*? The last time I took the little doggie out to pee last night I could hardly breathe, the humidity was so high and I think it must have been at least 80*, and that was at midnight.

That’s how I am these days. My knees and hips won’t take the hours of standing. I almost passed out when I went to my younger grandson’s graduation, what with the heat, standing, and walking. The next day, when the older one graduated, my daughter and I were dropped off and didn’t have to stand around. Also, the weather was much cooler.

I was reading this article this morning. It’s nothing I didn’t already know, but the problem as I see it is parents. The majority of parents today don’t want to parent their children, they want a village to raise their children. So until we figure out how to fix parents we’re going to be stuck with this problem.

Yup. I began seeing in the ’80s that the problem was not bad parenting – it was non-parenting. And now those kids are grandparents so we’ve got three generations of non-parented people.
LikeLiked by 2 people
I think that is the biggest problem and like you said few parents today know what parenting is, so how do you fix it?
The honest truth is as long as parents don’t want to parent there is no fixing or eliminating(my choice) public school.

When my air conditioning was out for about six weeks a few years ago (in August-September, of course), I thought I would die. I put in a small window air conditioner, and lived with that and ceiling fans until my furnace was replaced. Evening all. A question, if you all do not mind.
Wicked Son has been offered $150K to move to San Diego and work for a small private college there. They came up from $130K to $150K after he told them no. WS has asked my advice, which is surprising, as he & I had a nice shouting match Tues evening as i had naught good to say about moving to San Diego.
Anyway, is $150K enough to live in San Diego? Enough to maintain WS’s current very affluent lifestyle? What little family is left in CA does not speak, as we are gun-toting Ohio rednecks, WS’s very affluent lifestyle notwithstanding. Is it really that dangerous out there? I’ve not been back since 1972, and that was at Pendleton, which is not quite the same.
WS would leave one kid just starting college in Toledo, going to school on a baseball scholarship, another kid who just moved out on her own for the very first time, and a very immobile, cranky, and demanding mother-in-law. Plus me of course, but i will always get by.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are some folks here who live in CA who can give you some good advice.
I lived in Sonoma CA, 25 years ago it was beautiful but full of liberal nuts. It was a different time though. They considers us an oddity rather than a threat.
$150,000 is not enough to live an affluent lifestyle in SanDiego, of course that depends on what kind of equity he has in his current home but homes in CA are through the roof. I have relatives in Huntington Beach and Northern CA. A little bungalow goes for 500,000 easily.

Avg in oc now is around 750k to 800k.

Thank you. He has quite a bit of equity, as his Evil Mom provided several tens of thousands for his down payment before. My concern is loss of family. Guess I did not impart the value of family to him well enough. I also doubted that $150K would be nearly enough to support him in his lifestyle.
LikeLiked by 1 person
So 150 on 1 income in san diego will not buy you a house without a big down payment in cash. People are priced out and living in riverside county and commuting. Prices have recently dropped but insignificantly. What kind of home does he want? Apartments, all luxury, $2000 a month 2 bedroom. A house can go for 1,000,000 and its not anything nice, just the right location.

Wow. 1 mil for a house? Gee wiz, we haven’t that kind of cash.
My doubts are like lovely said, the diff values of the people living there. He is convinced he will be given a gun license. He has no good reputation in CA like he has here in Ohio. We have a good history here, that will not follow him, nor be important to anyone in CA. Plus the taxes are so high.
Oh well, thx for the info. We shall see how headstrong he is this time. He still has yet to beat me in being willful and stubborn lol.

I was going to give a description of what it is like living in a state where the government is run by truly mentally ill people who treat citizens like they are property and where non-citizens have priority. But if your son is determined to make this move, he’ll just have to find out for himself. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK EVEN FOR A VISIT. It would break my heart.

He can get a house for about 425k if he wants to commute. He can also downsize to a condo or rent. Ive been told even rent is competitive in the not so great areas. 150k is a fair middle class income but it wont get him as far as he thinks. Now if they give him housing benefits too which our public universities do(they actually pay for their houses) then he can go farther w his money.
I mentioned 1 mill bc the family of a kid at my kiddos school sold their run down old home in a part of the gay sd area for 1 million cash because of gentrification just a few months ago.

Don’t forget taxes, and increased cost of food, energy, gasoline, and everything b/c everyone who sells stuff has to pay more for taxes, food, energy, gas, and higher wages as per the liberal requirements to pay $15 per hour for even low value work.

EXCLUSIVE: US is planning a GCC summit for October
https://www.thenational.ae/world/exclusive-us-is-planning-a-gcc-summit-for-october-1.754648
The Trump administration is planning a larger summit for the Gulf Co-operation Council [GCC] this autumn, and current plans are underway to hold the meeting in mid October.
High level sources have told The National that the summit would include all the GCC members as well as Egypt and Jordan.
While no firm date or venue has been set for the meeting, mid October is a likely time frame and the United States would host the gathering.
The agenda being discussed is primarily focused on security co-operation including maritime navigation and ballistic missile threat, as well as counter-aggression work mainly from Iran, and counter extremism.
Visiting Washington this week is Abdel Aziz Aluwaisheg, the GCC’s Assistant Secretary-General for Political & Negotiation Affairs.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mr Aluwaisheg said: “The timing of the summit and the agenda are still being discussed but the idea of the summit is alive and well.”
Mr Aluwaisheg said the emphasis now is on “the preparatory work, and meetings of the working groups before hand”.
He said he hoped that the working groups from the GCC and the US sides “would meet over the next few weeks to generate the momentum and [to discuss] reasonable outcomes for the summit”.
If these discussions were productive then the summit will most likely happen, he explained, but if they were not “then there is nothing to discuss”.
But other sources have said that preparatory plans are underway to hold the summit in October.
Initially the Trump administration was hoping to convene the meeting at Camp David last May, but scheduling problems and focus on North Korea then forced a change in plans.

So much work behind the scenes. Amazing!
All the items his predecessor Presidents said they wanted to do…defeat terrorists, bring peace to the Middle East, economic prosperity for the region…were just flap-your-gums exercises. President Trump DOES what he says he wants to do for the world.

Wasn’t that fun! What a beautiful surprise for the couple! I think it’s neat that the amusement park is now getting other couples stopping by the thermal image area to see if they, too, can capture a photo of their baby.
In addition, a person could blow up the image and make a nice poster for baby’s wall.

Almost as long as I’ve been married to him, my husband has been a NASCAR fan, and he has always been a Bill Elliott fan. Now he roots for Bill’s son Chase.
Over the years we have made many trips to Dawsonville, Georgia, hometown of Bill and where his racing shop was. We have gone to fan appreciation days, eaten burgers at the Dawsonville Pool Room where owner Gordon Pirkle sounded the siren on top of the building every time Bill won.
We even stayed at Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville for our 25th anniversary. I tease my husband about that, but the park is lovely, the Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, and the hiking trails are great. Indeed, the jump off trail to the southern most point of the Appalachian Trail is there.
So, when my husband just showed me the lip sync challenge of Dawson County, I had high hopes. I wasn’t disappointed, sure enough, one of Georgia’s favorite sons makes the video special. Million Dollar Bill, 16 time winner of the Most Popular Driver award, and former champion helps out his hometown people.

How many of you here know that you can’t erase you student loan debt with bankruptsy? At least that is what Carlton Tucker’s last guest just said. AND, to top that off, congress passed that, I believe in 1995 or so. Oh, but here’s the good news: the congressperson’s children can erase their college debt. 👿

lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
