    Interesting that Israel played a huge part in the rescue and relocation of the Syrian White Helmets yet no one is giving Israel any credit. Not only the White Helmets were rescured, removed and relocated to Jordan but so were their families as their works, especially their calling attention to chemical attacks by Syrian/Russian forces, was sure to cause retaliation by Syrian forces.
    I’m not supposing that Israel shored this operation up for the good press but you’d think our MSM, with its composition, would at least be clapping Israel on the back.

    Brian Kemp won the primary! 69% of the vote. I don’t think he’ll have too much of a problem against Stacy Abrams in Nov. She’s one of those “democratic socialists” (communist).

    Though this guy is likely a multi-colored Leghorn, this post is in memory of CluckCluck, our childhood white Leghorn…he hated everyone but my sister…LOL! We also had his wife, HennyPenny, our best egg layer….

      Sigh – I didn’t even notice the chicken! I just wanted to take a nap on the beach! hahaha!

      Really fresh eggs are so much better than the things sold in the stores. I used to live not far from an organic chicken farm (the wind went the other way thankfully) and they would sell the odd sizes that didn’t fit in the containers to locals for next to nothing. I just about lived on eggs! They were just amazing!

        Racoons got into our egg lady’s coop, & we haven’t had convenient yard eggs since. I really need to go by Egg Farm Road nearby to see what they’ve got…

    and then he’d need “flowers”, and I think this hydroidmed would be a beautiful substitute!

    Once again – I just have a hard time believing that is an animal!

    (*) There was no attribution for this illustration, but I thought it was so funny, I had to add it in! It looks like early 1960’s maybe?

      These glass works are so amazing. Over recent years, I have occasionally stumbled across PBS documentaries where they show, discuss, explain, and enjoy glass-blowing. I find it really amazing to consider the danger of working with the larger pieces and the absolute serendipity that they must depend on for some of the most beautiful pieces.

      I have a couple of Christmas ornaments of blown glass. I’m loving your shares.

        Thank you Sharon. I’m glad you enjoy them. Fabulous and amazing are over-worked words, but apt descriptions of these pieces. I also watch glass blowing videos, and would love to try it. I wonder how many weeks, months or years I would have to practice before making something really simple.

    It’s amazing if you make note of actions and attitudes over time, how accurately you can see how things really played out. I was pretty sure the following was the case the minute the killer’s family released that self-serving oh-what-we-went-through victimhood statement masquerading as a condolence apology.

      Amazing times (do I say that too much).

      The MSM has been ballyhooing the Cohen Trump civil war Yucking it up over secret tapes. CNN leading the pack sternly saying that secretly taping someone that is ok when it is for the greater good.

      And what happens today?

      Cohen has tapes he secretly recorded with CNN reporters.

      Whoops!

      They’re all rubber tree plants, every single MSM spawn, every DNC and RNC oligarch.

      They laugh and mock the ant and then boom their whole world changes and they have no idea what happened to them. So they start mocking the ant …….again.

      Silly rubber tree plants.

    I had the most fabulous time Friday night. Five of my karaoke friends and I (four men; two women) put on an hour and a half free concert in a retirement home.

    We didn’t use karaoke tracks; three of us play guitar well enough to provide a foundation for the vocals.

    We love doing harmonies, so we did Mamas and Papas, “California Dreamin'”, the Eagles, “Seven Bridges Road”, LIttle Big Town’s, “Boondocks”, Everly Brothers, “Dream” and “Bye Bye Love”, Toto’s, “Africa”, Billy Joel’s, “The Longest Time” . . .

    The crowd, about 50 people, loved it. Someone sent me a phone video snippet of a 95 year old woman dancing during my guitar version of the flute solo in, “California Dreamin'”!

    There was magic in the performance, in that our love for the music, each other, and the audience was palpable. One couple said afterwards that they had been to many concerts in their life, and had never seen such love and joy on stage flowing out into the audience.

    We had hired a videographer so we could have DVDs made of the event. He confessed later that at one point he himself got so lost in the music he forgot he was supposed to be working. 🙂

    I am totally blessed to be a member of such a great group of people.

      This is what I said immediately after the conference.

      I’m about 10 minutes unto Putin’s statement and it is reminding me of our president’s doctor note.

      “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.” Signed, Donald Trump’s Doctor.

      It is still absolutely true. Everything else is smoke and mirrors, Morris gets it. Bravo!

    Tonight I was sitting on the sofa, and bending down to put on my shoes, when Tucker decided to leap onto the sofa. Instead, the bony part on the top of his head collided with my forehead just above my left eye. It really hurt – bad. It doesn’t hurt now, but I have a big lump, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it bruises.
