No one wants to lose a friend on a holiday. I hate when the animals are scared then kost too. Keep em inside or at least confined in a quiet very secure area.

I put flyers on my neighbors mailboxes letting them know the day and time I’m going to be setting off fireworks. It only takes short while. One of our dogs (a huge one) literally broke through the back door, and ran away one July 4th, never to return. My sister forgot to pick up the “dogie valium”. I searched for him for weeks, and put ads in newspapers. He was wonderful – she hated him.

Letting your neighbors know is a very considerate thing to do, and can be important even in the country, where cattle or horses might be spooked.

That dog looks a lot like my last dog. I have a Brittany now, too.

I thought that was Tucker! I was going to ask how you got the hat to stay on such an active dog’s head! 🙂 He’s so pretty no matter who his person is 🙂

For a change, Tucker is neater looking than that dog, because he just had a haircut. My Stella often had long hair on her ears, though!
There is no way I could keep a hat on Tucker’s head long enough to get a photo, either!

I love the little dog standing at attention during the National Anthem! The older gentleman having his dogs salute when he raises his flag – well God Bless him! 🙂

Not sure, but if that’s Tucker, he sure looks cute and proud!

I wondered too.

It’s not Tucker, but it is a Brittany! The one in the pic needs a haircut (and more like my darling Stella).
