Maybe people of all kinds are waking up to the fact that it’s going to take all of us to save America, and she is worthy of our efforts.

We the people, all kinds of people, must unite against one kind of danger when it comes down to it. What really threatens our country is not economic problems, international opposition, terrorist threats, immigration, education, inflation, wars, nuclear threats, gangs, or drugs.

We are threatened by a deeply rooted political class and the powers who have paid them to entrench themselves. We are at war with politicians and their masters, and I include judges in the political class. They are not confined to D.C. They are all across our country and we had better find ways to get rid of them. They aren’t about to give up power, and they will not quit.

They more Americans like Rodman, Kanye West, and other unlikely people align behind our President, the more dangerous they will become.

We face a time when we have our last chance at government by the people, and most people don’t even know that.

I forgot to include the media. Once, as a young woman, I learned the role of the press in a free society. I remember how vital the printing press was to our own cause for liberty. I remember the tracts and bills and letters printed.

I remember journalists in faraway places who were imprisoned or killed fighting for freedom for their countries.

We have few journalists now in our country, just a lot of hookers who get paid by media outlets to whore themselves.

    Calming and peaceful music…
After listening to “The Long Road” numerous times today at YouTube I gathered so many versions that I placed one at CTH….and this one is so gentle, it fits with the Stellars very well…

“The Long Road” – Mark Knopfler

    Mark Knopfler ~ Guitars
Paul Brady ~ Tin whistle, mandolin
    Liam O’Flynn ~ Uilleann pipes
    Guy Fletcher ~ Keyboards
    Terry Williams ~ Drums

    • Knopfler is one of the best guitarists ever. Love it!

      • I watched one of his concerts on YouTube last year. He related a story about how he played a concert one night, and how he later told his wife, “the crowd didn’t really get into it when I played Sultans of Swing, and I don’t know why, except maybe because I changed it up a bit.”

She asked, as he relates on stage, “Did you do the deedly-deedly bits at the end?”

He said “No.” She said, “That’s why. The fans are expecting the song that they know and love.”

The deedly bits at the end is what makes that song.

I’ve taken James Taylor off my Pandora, because Pandora seems to prefer the one concert I would have walked out of when playing James Taylor songs. He completely changed every song from Greatest Hits Volume 1. Why did he do this? Because he’s arrogant, and he didn’t want the crowd to be able to sing along. “I’M the one singing. You can’t sing my songs with me, and have fun. You stupid people who paid $150 per ticket to see me play your favorite songs.” I can hardly bear to hear the album itself any more, after hearing that concert. He should have called the recording, “James Taylor, I hate my fans.

Knopfler is incredible, and very humble. He’s on our playlist at work. And his pickin’ shines. Especially the deedly bits.

        • Great story, Wooly! I’ve loved his music for a very long time. I used to like James Taylor, but I can’t tolerate him inserting himself into politics. So no more James Taylor for me.

          • I couldn’t care less about Taylor’s politics. The fact that he did a high-end, super-expensive concert of his Greatest Hits, and proceeded to change every single song to the point of arrhythmia and complete atonality just so the audience couldn’t sing along makes him an a**hole. I would have walked out after the second song, when I realized what he was doing.

I wish I could program Pandora to say “I love JT’s Greatest Hits, but Never Play Anything Off That Particular Live Album”. Or: “I love Rush, but Never play Rush after 1987, and Don’t Play any Rush that has been played in the last six months.” Or: “I love ZZ-Top, but never play any ZZ-Top from the mid-80s, just the old stuff.” Or: “Never play any version of Hotel California ever performed, because I can turn on the FM radio and hear it ten times a day for the rest of my entire life, and Pandora was supposed to be a superior alternative to radio.”

I swear I could make a radio station in my town that would absolutely destroy our local FM station.

    • I’ve never heard this before, but I would have guessed it was Knopfler as my first guess.

Mark does not have to sing with his voice. It’s cool when he does, but his music is his voice, and is identifiable instantly. I put him up there with painter Thomas Kinkade.

It’s like Daryl or Sade. I can hear like two measures and know it’s Daryl or Sade.

Absolutely beautiful video on a 42″ screen, too! Thanks, Lucille!

Why are we not hearing that a REAL national security issue is with the heavy subsidy of the Bombardier aircraft company by Canada and England? American was set to buy 30 commuter jets from Boeing until Bombardier sold them 30 of its jets at a price that damn near came to less than what they cost to build. Had not Canada and Britain (Bombardier builds big chunks of the plane there) not heavily subsidized each plane American would have bought Boeing. Boeing had to lay off or not hire workers, workers whose skills are vital to commercial and military aircraft building.
DoC placed an almost 300% tariff on the planes to protect the US industry but the International Trade Commission shot it down. Britain and Canada subsidize Bombardier to keep their workers in jobs while American workers get canned.
I know I’ve said this before but I probably will say it again as the MSM is purposely not connecting the dots. As for me, no American Airlines flights anywhere, it’s a small gesture but it’s my gesture.

I want to thank everyone who has been praying for my cousin and ask you to continue to pray. He is doing better than we expected he was down to 95 pounds and has put on 8 pounds! He has had the opportunity to go up to his little summer trailer twice, something we thought he would never do again, he was in really good spirits yesterday and talking about September instead of saying “Well I won’t be here.”

I’m not blind, he continues to deteriorate, but this is blessed gifted time and I thank all of you for being part of what is making this gift possible.

I’m sure that God has all your pictures on His fridge 🙂 🙏🏼 ❤️!

This was finished the deal sealed when it was suggested that Kim Jong Un said “My fathers dying wish was to denuclearize NK.” and there was no reaction from NK or denial of the ‘”dying wish.”

    http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2018/03/06/kim-jong-un-ready-to-discuss-denuclearization-with-u-s/

An unnamed official told Yonhap News Agency that Kim opened up the possibility of entering talks with the United States, adding that denuclearization was his father Kim Jong-il’s “dying wish.”

“Chairman Kim said that even denuclearization could be among the agenda items for talks between North Korea and the U.S.,” he said. “What drew our attention, in particular, is that he made clear that achieving denuclearization is his father’s dying wish and that it has not been changed at all.”

      • I agree. I haven’t seen that meme, but it’s true, and succinct. The Nobel doesn’t deserve him. Being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize today is like being awarded the Margaret Sanger Award. I’d turn either of them down. They’re evil. Their committees are evil. Their goals are evil.

The Nobel as an Idea or an Ideal is great. The leaders of Japan deserve it. They don’t have Islamic terrorism, AT ALL. Or the Knock-Out Game, AT ALL.

They did it! They achieved a peace in their nation that the rest of the world envies.

So did Poland. Where’s their Nobel Peace Prize?

How much Peace exists in the nations where the Nobel committee lives?

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.

Most folks are missing the bigger picture here.

Sure Bill Clinton is a swine but we already knew that about him.

Look at his eyes at the 13 – 20 second mark.

The happy news here is that the Clintons are so settled in their delusion that nothing has changed since 1992 that Bill Clinton is still taken aback by questions that are not simply disguised praise.
