I went out to vote in the Indiana primary yesterday. I wanted a drink so bad when I was done.

I thought that the Republicans, eternal pushovers while Obama was in office, would grow a spine – or a pair – once a Republican was in and stop letting the Democrats have their way. I was wrong. The Republicans are complicit with the Democrats and that makes them worse, IMO.

And none of these useless, gutless idiots have reigned in this Russia nonsense. I think I hate them for that more than anything else, having had to endure this Democrat temper tantrum for two years now. Russia should sue for libel.

So I wasted an hour or so of my life last night that I can never get back to vote for more useless idiots.

    I need a freaking drink.

POTUS really is a no-excuses kind of guy. In spite of the 24/7/365 onslaught of opposition and hatred, he keeps getting results.

Remember the outrage after obama was elected and, being aware of obama’s goals, Rush Limbaugh said that he certainly hoped obama would fail? obama had no noticeable opposition except from citizens who were not afraid to be called names.

And I guess it could be said that Trump faces no noticeable support except from citizens who are not afraid to be called names….being unafraid to be called names is important.

Mr. Trump’s ability to get results has stand-alone value: these three men owe their freedom to POTUS’ spine.

So not only do I get a phone call, but the Dr. said he wants him in for surgery to a surprise cancellation this Friday.
The drive is longer than the procedure, but still he will sleep off the anesthesia in the evening instead of all day. Hopefully it will go well and he will get healthier again.

Yesssssss, just got a call from my friendly neighborhood Indian (no, not the ‘woo-woo’ kind) who congratulated me on my excellent credit and payment history and told me I’m now eligible for zero-percent credit card!
I pressedone and when he came on I said that they probably hadn’t heard about my bankruptcy and I’d like to get signed up as soon as possible. “NO problem”, he said. “Ahhhh…then you’ll send me something in the mail?”.
There was a short silence…a chuckle…and he said: “I’ve talked with you before, haven’t I?”. Then a click and nothing.
It’s nice to know you have a fan club. Next I’m gonna waste even more of their time by pulling someone long-dead off of the SS death index and having even more fun.

I didn’t receive a fun call like yourself czar, no, I was the one who was making the calls and I don’t think I have a fan club.

First, I called the United States, let me repeat, the United States Postal Service. Seems they decided to give me an incorrect address.so, I call the number that the USPS gives out in order to correct address errors with the United States, let me repeat, the United States Postal Service and I was told by some Indian, no, not woo-woo, that my address does not appear on ‘the map’, therefore he could not help me, and he hung up.

Also, the utility company has the location of my gas & electrical meters listed incorrectly. The utility company gets their address information from the 911 Call Service and I am informed that the utility company can’t change my address. Nope, they tell me, I have to call the 911 Call Service and have my address changed with them and then they’ll change the address on my meters.

So, I call the County Sheriff’s Office to talk to someone about getting my address changed on the 911 Call Service so that it matches the street signs and the tax records. Well, come to find out, the government doesn’t handle the 911 Call Service, no, it’s handled by a bunch of tech guys in Indian country, and I don’t mean woo-woo. Seems the Sheriff’s office doesn’t know how to go about changing an address and they really don’t know who they’re supposed to call, but hey, they’re lookin’ into it for me.

In the meantime, if I call 911, the county will pull up the wrong info and send the ambulance to a non-existent address, and the USPS tells me I don’t exist on their map and gosh golly, my tax dollars at work…..woo woo!

It will help that you live in a small town. Postal carrier will know. When our mail gets the wrong info on it, she figures it out & delivers it despite the errors.
After hurricane Katrina we evacuated from New Orleans & had our mail forwarded for about 4 weeks, than we were home & changed it back. About 5 months after, our mail stopped coming. Turned out, someone in the USPS decided to change everyone’s addresses back to the forwarding addresses. This would never have happened in rural America.

Welcome to the rural world. My 911 address was located about 300 yards north of my driveway, smack in the middle of my lake’s emergency overflow. We have had to block off two false driveways as if someone fails to follow the obviously 12-foot-wide, gravel coated path and wanders up one of the grass paths s/he will end up stuck in thevtrees or splash in the lake. I just went to the local 911 office and luckily got it squared.
Yup, once they gets ya in an o-fishul slot in theys system – that’s where you be. Just in case, we have a kit for the air ambulance if needed – a GMRS and CB radio, flare gun, landing light kit and smoke grenades. They won’t have to rely on the 911 folks, we can bring ’em in on a dime.

Thing is, people aren’t sure where I live so I usually say “I live right down the road from Ritchie X’s” and they say “Oh yeah, you on the Y’s old road!”. Same with the sheriff’s office, I jusy say ‘You know where Richie X lives?” or “I live over by Bill Y’s place” and thar usually does it. It’s all amatter of relatives, and they’re more likely to know whose farm you’re by than a street address.

So the eye vet told me that because of the lack of grain, its actually causing lots of health problems because their diets arent balanced. My beagle is just storing everything because of the imbalance. She has the eye lipids and redness due to it apparently. So have to also give flax oil and fish oil and 3 eye meds. They said grain free is essentially a marketing thing, like gluten free for us. So, after she has been on the diet a month or two and the lipid sloughs away I spose Ill know if its true.

My last dog lived to age 14, and only became lean after switching to a grain free diet. I go by what I see, and my vet is okay with it.

By the way, grain free isn’t the same as carb free. Grain free food contain other foods containing carbohydrates, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, legumes, peas, berries etc.

I myself went on an almost grain free diet, and lost 60 pounds. There is nothing unhealthy about it. I ate a lot of vegetables, and cut way back on potatoes, and eliminated pasta, cereals and bread almost entirely.

Dogs are omnivorous, but certainly didn’t eat much in the way of grains, which are primarily cultivated, in the wild.

I actually had never heard of this. Apparently people, especially the Chinese, actually eat them. I do remember seeing jars of pickled pigs feet on the counters of old stores when I was a kid. Chicken tops pig for gross.

I did see that some people use them for bone broth, then discard. That’s on my Not Too Disgusting To Think About list.
