Thank you thank you Stella ! I think I’m going to print it and not follow it sequentially but rather have the goal of putting one red X over one square a day. Like a full cover Bingo game 🙂 ! I’ll change toys to clothes and get started !

My mom always puts my dad’s stuff in a black garbage bag otherwise he sees it and drags it back into the house. When I was a teenager he had a a huge sewing machine that could sew leather and fur. My friend and I sold it at a rummage sale while he was gone for something like $5. He never even noticed it was gone 🙂 !

My father had an old, thin, white-undershirt with yellow stains in the armpits and a very large ripped hole in the back (aboout 8 in. across) and he would not let my mom throw it away. I think he kept it just to aggravate her. I finally got ahold of it and “disappeared it.”

My dad would never buy new clothes for himself. My mom sneaks his old ones out and replaces them with similar ones 🙂 .

Yes, Mom did that, too. But, he just would NOT let her get rid of that shirt. He would wear it when he did some dirty job. LOL I asked why she didn’t just throw it away, and she said he would get mad.

I don’t think my dad has a favorite. He just wears the first thing he puts his hand on in the morning.

I do that for mr gil. He has no idea what stuff costs. He has a whole rack of tshirts for working around the house that arent in good condition. I have to throw them out when he has finished them off or he will still keep wearing them.

Its true. My family has hoarders on both sides. If you bring stuff in, stuff should go out but sometimes it just needs to all go.

My Lovely 16 yo Grand daughter once announced She was going to turn me in to “Hoarders”! I told her “Please, I could use the help”!

I watch an episode of Hoarders every once in a while. I make myself watch it all the way through. And, it always makes me get up and throw some stuff out. LOL

It always makes me gather some bags full for Goodwill! Sometimes it makes me feel ashamed to have too much, when so many have so less.

My tax guy said donate about $1000 of stuff every year and it will really help. So i list every item i donate with the receipt and figure out how much each donation is worth. I do close to that every year.

I used to do that. Now I just donate it, because as a retiree I don’t have the income for the deduction to make much difference.

Same here. I have never had enough medical expenses to take them off taxes, and when I did taxes last year for 2016, because of some dental work, etc. I figured I would. Nope. Nowhere near enough. And, I don’t give away much that is worth anything.

We always seem to have more c r a p than I want around and you know with a preschooler theres extra everything anyways. Ive got a bunch of things ive tried to sell on craigslist and offerup without success cluttering around the garage and inside. Some I can regift, but its probably time to fill up the car with a donation load.
