          missing a discussion of his retiring to the Safe Space room at the J. Edgar Hoover Building where a warm cup of cocoa and a service dog puppy was waiting for me to sit quietly and contemplate the evil and boorishness of this real estate egomaniac and how best to bring his reign to an end with a crash…..the media was waiting to support my thoughts as well as Hillary sent a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies to me for comfort food.

      Satire but perfectly Comeyesque.

      Comey comments on President Trump’s height, half moons under his eyes, hand size and Melania’s insecurities in his book so the satire is in no way far fetched.

      There are more and more indicators that the gallows are being built for these vile criminals.

      Comey is bright by anyone standards, it was Scott Adams or Alan Dershowitz who said that Comey is likely one of the most politically astute people in the world. Comey is a brilliant yet deeply compromised legal mind. He could sell butter to a cow.

      Yet.

      This bright articulate, man, this political knife fighter, has put his freedom in jeopardy by writing this book and by giving an interview and I guess he is going on a book tour.

      Comey lied while under oath. Comey with malice, legal negligence and political motivation hid information from candidate and then President Trump when his oath demanded him to do otherwise.

      Comey is in great legal peril. Comey knows it, he has absolutely nothing to lose. He is furious that he will be regarded as a traitor to the Republic when the honest history of the United States is written. He is furious that he may actually be dragged through the mud, revealed in his own lifetime as the filth that he is and may very well sit in a prison cell.

      “From the day I took the oath of office, I’ve been fighting to drain the swamp, and sometimes it may not look like it, but believe me, we are draining the swamp,” Trump said during remarks at the White House about tax reform.

        No flaw so weakens a man as pride. It blinds all of us to our own follies. I think Comey, like the Clintons, Obamas, McCain (personally I think he’s one of the best examples of pride causing complete meltdown in action and judgement) and most of the political powers that be.

        What Comey sees in his mirror is not reality, or even close. He has a movie playing in his mind.

          I think you are spot on.

          Imagine a young Comey, a fresh FBI recruit, his magnificent brain, his charming good looks, his stature, his quick moving analytical mind, and then imagine that young man being told one day he would write a memoir that was a petty mean girl rant about a sitting president. A memoir where he would sound like a bitter old hag and where he would make snide innuendo about the size of a sitting president penis.

          I have to imagine there was a time that James Comey would have been very embarrassed by who he has become.

        I read the larger excerpt. If it is real – what amazing arrogance it shows.
        Maybe that’s why Comey & Brennen sound crazy. In reading how various evil people of the past 100 or so years died such arrogance brought down (because of their crimes & sins, prosecuted or not) often causes the mind to snap. In the end God is not mocked.

          Pres Trump has a great smile, and among Presidents I remember since Kennedy, he laughs more. I think he laughs even more than Reagan. Everyone loves a “happy warrior”, and this is a very important message for conservatives this election cycle – have a positive “this can be won, and the voters problems can be fixed” attitude!!! The regressives are all negative Debbie Downers!

    Mike Pompeo, the head of the CIA and President Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, confirmed on Thursday that the US military killed hundreds of Russians in an intense fight in Syria.
    The US had previously only confirmed killing 100 or so pro-Syrian regime forces, but multiple outlets reported the number was as high as 300 and that the soldiers were Russian military contractors.
    Russian military contractors aren’t official Russian troops, but volunteers to private military firms.
    Reports on the firms’ communications indicate they were badly humiliated by the lopsided loss.

    I did not want to miss posting black swans, which are common in Australia, so here is a photograph of a mom & cygnet:

    I love how even baby swans have that fuzzy big head look like kittens & puppies!

      LMAO! They actually have had stupid things like this in art galleries – the only things dumber are the people that go and OOOOH and AAAAH over it, then pay for it – more money than brains!

      Separate subject – there used to be a saying: “shirt sleeves to shirt sleeves in 3 generations”, meaning one generation earned the money, the second and 3rd spent it, and by the 3rd they were broke again. Now financial planners and trusts have interrupted that cycle causing people with more money than brains to run around separated from working for their money thinking they are somehow smarter than the rest of us. It also causes more of a caste system in society than would otherwise be there. I also do not believe in the personhood of corporations. If the people who own and run a business were personally liable, many problems would be averted.

        The Art Institute of Chicago had a bunch of scrunched up candy wrappers in a big pile in a corner in its modern art wing.

        My friend and I walked in during a guided tour where a bunch of people were oohing and ahhhing over the nonsense.

        My friend a “Union Enforcer” said something like “What is this sh*t”? I almost died laughing.

    To further merge the swan and transportation themes in today’s posts we have the swan boats of Lake Yamanaka. Lake Yamanaka, in the shadow of Mt. Fuji is unofficially known as “Swan Lake”. Some enterprising entrepreneurs have added to the natural swan population by means of paddle boats shaped like swans, & a large ferry boat with a swan neck & head that is in pretty close proportion to the real thing.

    And we also have the famous swan and cygnet cars: A Scotsman & engineer named Robert Matthewson lived in India in the early 1900s, when maharajas were having extraordinary automobiles built. Not wanting to be outdone Mathewson had the Swan car created. The car caused panic & chaos on the streets in it’s first outing. The Swan is very luxurious with a body of hand-carved wood, the filigree is gold, the interior is silk & the swan’s eyes are amber. It can open its beak & spray steam, light up its eyes & play an 8-note horn. It also has one bodily function. One time at the Pebble Beach concours, when leaving the awards ramp, the Swan had a little “accident” & they had to mop up afterwards. Just whitewash folks – Mathewson had a sense of humor!
    A Maharaja was so taken by the Swan that he bought it & had the little one, the Cygnet, created so the Swan wouldn’t be lonely. It is thought to be the oldest Indian-made automobile. Decades later the Louwman museum in The Hague Holland purchased & restored the pair. ~Mostly from roadandtrack com. Below is an interesting and humorous video about the pair of cars that shows the lavish details.
