    Really busy morning coming up, so might as well post now 😉

    American illustrator J. F. Kernan (1878-1958) specialized in images of middle-class life for the covers and pages of popular magazines from the 1910s to 1940s. His nostalgic and often humorous illustrations celebrate the simple comforts of home, family, and outdoor recreation. Born in Brookline, MA Kernan attended the Eric Pape School of Art in Boston and later taught at the school before embarking on his art career. An athlete & outdoorsman himself (he played professional baseball to help finance his art education), Kernan would frequently incorporate those themes into his works, specializing in outdoor subjects such as hunting and fishing. His art featured, as he described it, “the human side of outdoor sports, hunting, fishing and dogs.” His works soon graced the covers of nearly every major magazine during the 1920’s/1930’s.

      So sweet and thoughtful! Her dad and I almost share the same birthday. Liz was the keynote speaker at the Alaska Republican Party state convention a few weeks ago and DH got to meet her there. He said she is a tiny little woman, and quite the fireball.

    I find it odd that our normally honest media has not had any stories about what happened in Russia just a couple of days ago. Maybe they don’t want people connecting emotionally with humans on the other side of the planet or something.

      March 28 was declared a national day of mourning but acts of solidarity with Kemerovo started earlier across the country. On March 27, in more than 30 cities from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, people gathered to commemorate the victims. Around 12,000 came together in silence in Moscow’s Pushkin Square.

      “I couldn’t just stay at home and do nothing – I’ve seen the footage of children falling from shopping center’s windows. It was horrible,” a young boy called Alexander said.

      It is inconvenient to see the humanity in the picture that the MSM is trying to paint.

      How horrible! You can’t even imagine the terror involved. Poor darlings.

      I’ve not seen anything at the various sites visited each day. Maybe it’s because no gun was involved and our media deems it not important unless it meets their control agenda.

      N.O. Tv had coverage for three days at least, on the first day they reported it, next did a follow up with video from the mall. Yesterday reported about protests/memorials in Russia. Maybe California tv is the problem

      Lovely, look another support goat. This one is a billy goat with male parts intact. My not so professional opinion says he appears to be a pygmy cross billy goat. Good thing there wasn’t a female goat on the bus or he might have got a little pee on the bus driver. lol

      Although, I’m not so sure he wasn’t starting to think someone smelled a little like a nanny as he was starting to do the tongue wagging. 🙂

        That is an awfully big goat, with big horns.

        Notice Erick the “Rock-Star” trying to get a good Samaritan to fix his “Erick and Deer the Goat.” bus for free 🤔. How does he afford gas for that guzzler bus? It probably gets 6 miles to the gallon.

        Maybe people and their support goats will hold a rally and all get on one bus to protest this, 🙃, imagine the mayhem.

        …..But I really thought another passenger stole the show.

        While Erick was on the bus with Deer the goat the guy is saying;

        “Man, I gotta get home dog, walkin’ dead on tonight.”

        Then when Eric and Deer the goat leave, the chap says;

        Thank you home boy, thank you, I really appreciate it, Walkin’ Dead appreciate it. God bless you.” 😂

        Oh and funny that. Erick doesn’t mention that Deer is an emotional support goat in the early days of his goatery-relationship.

      This will involve hard work, of course. You can’t just sit online and preen to those who already agree with you. No siree. Instead, you’ll have to go around the states — traveling and preaching until the soles of your shoes are thin as paper. You’ll have to lobby Congress, over and over and over again. You’ll have to make ads and shake hands and twist arms and cut deals and suffer all the slings and arrows that will be thrown in your direction. You’ll have to tell anybody who will listen to you that they need to support you; that if they disagree, they’re childish and beholden to the “gun lobby”; that they don’t care enough about children; that their reverence for the Founders is mistaken; that they have blood on their goddamn hands; that they want to own firearms only because their penises are small and they’re not “real men.” And remember, you can’t half-ass it this time. You’re not going out there to tell these people that you want “reform” or that “enough is enough.” You’re going there to solicit their support for removing one of the articles within the Bill of Rights. Make no mistake: It’ll be unpleasant strolling into Pittsburgh or Youngstown or Pueblo and telling blue-collar Democrat after blue-collar Democrat that he only has his guns because he’s not as well endowed as he’d like to be.       When the likes of Rob Delaney and Bill Maher and Keith Ellison say that we need to get rid of the Second Amendment, they are not speaking in a vacuum but reflecting the views of a small but vocal portion of the American population. And they mean it.

      Same clowns in the game, same loud braying fools, still manipulating and grooming young skulls full of mush to do their bidding.

      The most ridiculous sign I have read is “Protect Children, Not Guns”.

      I am betting that we are closer to waking up one day in an America where Constitutional Carry will be the law of the land as will be decided by the SCOTUS than we are to repealing the Second Amendment.

        The phrase, “the right of the people” occurs three times in the fist four sentences in the Bill of Rights.
        To claim that it means individual rights in the first and third instance, but not the second, is delusional.
        Those three instances are in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments.
