    I am against partisan criminalization.

Mueller is looking for a crime and going after low hanging fruit.

I predict that one of these days Dershowitz’s emotions and ideology are going to catch up with his intellect and knowledge.

And then there is Cooper 😂 who was the main show, I was watching his face and he had no idea what either Dersh or Toobin was talking about, he almost looked dead his face was so blank for a while in there, so to hear him say “This was like a graduate class at Harvard” was the cherry on the sundae of this video.

Good Morning all…I am almost at the end of my renovation here and thought I would post my starting project today and my ending project in a couple of days.

I thank you all for the encouragement, the laughter, the good thoughts and the prayers that have accompanied me on this journey…..

I earnestly began this renovation in November and the very first large project that I tackled was the kitchen backsplash which turned out to be the worst project I encountered….a simple tile removal ended with the knowledge that two walls had to be rebuilt because there were no 2 x 4 studs, only 1 x 2’s….and I must admit, I almost quit before I started. Five months later…..

Thanks czarina….I’m thinking the little stainless touches with the wood seem to have helped bring this mid century house design into the present without sacrificing too much of the house’s charm…..kind of a tough balance to do with a few touches, but hopefully, I’ve succeeded…

We sorta got carried away with stainless. Being out here a light year away from any place to dine out we decided to get a large Viking range in stainless. That led to a stainless range hood, stainless backsplash, stainless covers sidewings and the range sits on a stainless prep table we had cut down. Then again when you throw yourself into cooking the stainless makes the cleaning disaster recovery much easier.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to hit NOLA when the ‘famous’ chefs were mostly still ‘local’ and approachable. Also had the luck to work with the husband of a noted local chef so gottta lotta help.
The cooking isn’t hard, it evolved from home cooking folks did on wood stoves with rather basic implements, modernchefs have just used a lot of smoke and mirrors to make it seem more complicated and mysterious than it is. Gumbo is really rather simple (except for the molten lava roux), we just overthink it. Don’t sweat it, enjoy it.

czar, I forgot to mention that last week I made your Crawfish Bisque recipe for my church’s Meatless Friday supper and it was a great hit. Really easy, and a lot fewer calories than expected once I added it all up. I made it with salmon since we don’t have crawfish in Alaska. Next time I’ll make it with shrimp and halibut. Thanks so much for posting it!

These recepies came from frontier homers where various cuisines melded and whatever youn had went into the pot. Adjust the seasoning a bit so that the chicken doesn’t steal the flavor and it should work quite well. Wonder if it would work with ptarmigan? Now a nice Creole brown sauce with ptarmigan…

I did take your advice and cut the Tony Cachere’s in half. Thank goodness. I would not have been able to eat it if I hadn’t. Though DH would have loved it, and added about that much back to his bowl.

Esasier to put more in than try to take it out. You can also experiment and make your own version of Tony’s…we practically have an isle of ‘croele’ seasonings in our stores.

We’re lucky to have Tony’s here. Alaskans mostly aren’t much for the hot stuff.

I’m surprised, that hot stuff helps fend off the chills. BTW, you can find Paul Prudhomme’s early 80s cookbooks on Amazon iused (best way to buy a cookbook) and his recepies will give you the formulas for his various bottled spices you find in the store.
BTW, looking for a great meatloaf recipe? This works great winter or summer. They say it feeds 6 but ‘roun heah it barely gets by two. If there’s any left it makes great french bread sammiches the next day wid mayo, lettuce and to tomato. Might want to warch the cayenne if you’re not into Prudhomme hot. Note the seasoning mix, later versions call for use of his seasoning mix instead of the individual spices.

I got one bird in a tree outside, he meows like a cat. It’s funny. He is mimicking my cat. There are birds in NYC’s Central Park that do cellphone sounds. This bird decided a meow was his favorite.

Saudi Arabia opens airspace to Israel for first time ever for Air India flight bound for Tel Aviv

Saudi Arabia opened its airspace for the first time to a commercial flight to Israel with the inauguration of an Air India route between New Delhi and Tel Aviv.

Flight 139 landed at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport after a seven-and-a-half hour journey, marking a diplomatic shift for Riyadh that Israel says was fuelled by shared concern over Iranian influence in the region.

“This is a really historic day that follows two years of very, very intensive work,” Israeli tourism minister Yariv Levin said, adding that using Saudi airspace cut travel time to India by around two hours and would reduce ticket prices.

Saudi Arabia – birthplace of Islam and home to its holiest shrines – does not recognise Israel.

Riyadh has not formally confirmed granting the Air India plane overflight rights. While the move ended a 70-year-old ban on planes flying to or from Israel through Saudi airspace, there is no indication that it will be applied for any Israeli airline.

  15. lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
