You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss
A sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by
And when two lovers woo
They still say “I love you”
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by
Moonlight and love songs
Never out of date
Hearts full of passion
Jealousy and hate
Woman needs man, and man must have his mate
That no one can deny
It’s still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by

Pretty picture, and of course, wonderful song!
Today’s painting is “The Wastebasket” by Henriëtte Ronner-Knip
Henriëtte Ronner-Knip 1821 – 1909 was a Dutch-Belgian artist in the Romantic style who is best known for her animal paintings; especially cats. She was born into a family of artists, and she received her first lessons from her father. After her father became totally blind in 1832 the family continued to move about, and by 1840 she was essentially in charge of the family’s finances and legal obligations. She had begun painting seriously by 1835. She was a participant in the Exhibition of Living Masters in 1838. After her mother’s death, she moved to Amsterdam where she painted farms, animals and forests from nature; first in watercolor, then in oils. That same year, she became the first woman admitted as an “active member” to Arti et Amicitiae. In 1850, she married, but her husband was often sick, and so he became her manager. After 1870, she painted her most famous works, featuring often playful cats in bourgeois settings. She continued to paint dogs too; notably lapdogs belonging to Marie Henriette of Austria and Princess Marie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. In her later years, she had a house with a large garden, where she kept hunting dogs, cats and a parrot that she used as models. In 1887, she was awarded the Order of Leopold and, in 1901, became a member of the Order of Orange-Nassau. Her son Alfred and daughters Alice and Emma also became artists. She often exhibited with them.

I’m just getting around to reading about the Mueller indictments.
https://i.imgur.com/Vc7f90e.gifv
So let me get this straight.
13 Pals of Vlad pretended to be Americans and posted mean whiles simultaneously true things about The Beast Hillary Clinton.
Pals of Vlad started the riot in Chicago, Pals of Vlad sent faux white supremacists to SC and at the same time Pals of Vlad sent Antifa to SC.
Mueller has determined that Putin who we know thanks to the disgraced, known liar and leaker James Comey hates Hillary Clinton” 😂 did all of this to help candidate Trump win.
Why did Pals of Vlad do all of this? Because Putin hates Clinton 😂.
What did The Beast do switch Putin’s uranium out with coal?
What a load of crap.
Mueller has not only tipped his hand he has placed all of his cards face up on the table.
This is terrible news for the Clinton, Obama cabal.
More and more it is looking like Comey has immunity and his pal Mueller is keeping them both out of prison by actually doing his job.

What an absurdly trivial set of indictments. Almost comical. This is the best they got…15 individual Russians (not Putin, not the KGB) using Facebook and other Internet social sites??? Where´s the collusion? Where´s the election machine tampering? Nothing. Zip. Nada.
And speaking of nada…
What if Russia REALLY wanted to overturn American elections, you know, like Mexico? What if they sent not 15 individuals, but 20,000,000 of them pouring over our borders…demonstrating in our streets, filling our schools and hospitals, sending $25,000,000,000 a year back to Mother Russia, and actually VOTING in our elections? Would the Democrats and our RINOs be trying to indict them? Would they appoint a special prosecutor to ferret out and indict every single one of them?
Or would they call them the “Russian dreamers”? What a farce.

So. 13 Russian Twitter trolls have been indicted, for trying to influence an election in a nation of 300 million people.
This sets a precedent. Now we can indict far more than 13 people, who work for the MSM.
Oh, it’s because it’s not domestic, we can’t? Ok, then we can indict far more than 13 people who work for the global MSM, all the foreign papers and networks, for trying to influence an American election, right? Surely the thousands of journalists worldwide have a greater influence than 13 people on Twitter, right?
Another unrelated thought:
Under whose administration was Nikolas Cruz educated for the last 8 years?
What did they teach him? Who taught him?
The Federal Bureau of Not Investigating Jack Squat is a joke.
We need to ban public schools. “Mr. Gorbochev, tear down this wall!”
School shootings like this are always done by people who were educated/programmed/drugged there. Every time. The FBI cannot figure this big picture out. Top Men.

And the Presidential administration really doesn’t matter, because Public Schools has been a gigantic evil social experiment since just before I was in kindergarten.
And when they became best buds with the psych and pharma industries it got even sicker and more evil than it already was.
I mean it. The solution to almost every problem in America: no more DOEdu., no more public schools. Privatize all of it. Fire them all, make them reapply. Ronald Reagan did that with every air traffic controller in America.

I think Mueller should indict The Parliament of Great Britain for holding a vote to ban Trump from their shores.
And on the unrelated thought, Martin Shkreli said he would pay 10,000 for a strand of Hillary’s hair and suddenly his bail was revoked and he was sent to prison, do not pass go. Nikolas de Jesus Cruz said he wanted to be the worlds most prolific school shooter (or something like that) and LE said “meh”.

I have a question for people who know more about music than me:
In the beginning of this song, there’s some kind of what sounds like synth or editing, but I’m wondering if it might be an instrument. It’s clearly audible for the first eight seconds, but recurs through the rest of the song. Can anyone tell me if this is a particular instrument, or just a sound effect they made up for the song, or what I’m hearing? I like it, and that rhythm gives the song a very eerie feel which works for it, but I’d like to know what it is.

School shooter’s brother committed to mental facility
https://nypost.com/2018/02/17/school-shooters-brother-committed-to-mental-facility/
The younger brother of deranged school shooter Nikolas Cruz was committed to a mental health facility, according to reports.
Authorities removed someone Friday from the home of Rocxanne Deschamps, a longtime family friend of the Cruz brothers who took them in after their adoptive mother died of pneumonia in November, The Palm Beach Post reported.
A friend of Deschamps confirmed Zachary Cruz, who turns 18 next week, was the person removed from the home.
The younger Cruz brother was involuntarily committed under Florida’s Baker Act, under which he can be held involuntarily for up to 12 hours for an involuntary psychiatric exam. It’s unclear if he’s been released.

If you are referring to the scene in Casablanca the song the German soldiers were singing was ‘Die Wacht am Rhein’ not the Horst Wessel Lied. Die Wacht is a more military song while the Horst Wessel is the Nazi Party anthem and was purely political.

The article in a nutshell;
However, since “assault weapon” was an invented term, it had no technical meaning.

Czar here. ‘Assault Rifle’ was a name the German armory gave the StG-44. The ‘StG was the abbreviation for Sturmgewher which translates as ‘assault rifle’. It was a select-fire weapon (semi or full auto fire) that used a new intermediate cartridge with, compared to a battle rifle, with a lesser range but greater firepower. There actually is a class of assault weapons BUT the definition requires both full and semiauto fire. The media picked up the term though and made it theirs to misuse.
As Humpty Dumpty said: “when I use a word it means just what I choose it to mean – nothing more nor less.”
