Why aren’t the Democrats horrified by the corruption at the FBI and DOJ?

Because it works to their advantage. They’re only horrified by things that won’t work in their favor. And I will be shocked, absolutely shocked, if this damages the Democrats in any way. The MSM doesn’t care about this story. They’ll do what they can to bury it.
All of these whiny libs owe Joe McCarthy an apology. Every last one. Was he a bit of a zealot? Yes, but when the cables were declassified, in the end he was right. Apparently the only thing liberals were crying about while they vilified the man was that they hadn’t thought of accusing their enemies of the same thing first. “Have you no shame, liberals? Have you no shame?

“They’re only horrified by things that won’t work in their favor. ” Yup – Their desires and emotions are all that matters. True narcissism, which is what they have, is a very dangerous condition. If everything is about themselves, then they can not have shame, because that involves caring about someone else, and they can’t do that.
This brings up something I was recently thinking about: DH and I were discussing how most of the retail workers here are retired, perhaps in their 40’s or 50’s at the youngest. There just are not that many younger people working any type of retail. Then we thought – well that’s a good thing considering how awful “education” is these days, (however in our area the students do actually learn skills). Then we thought of how many kids just don’t even show up for work, spend all of their time on the phone etc. It goes back to the “everyone gets a prize” mentality, which we think feeds the narcissism. Before that it was doctor Spock I think who said never spank your child etc. (I am not for beating your little kid obviously). Then I thought: WHO IN THE PSYCHIATRIC COMMUNITY STARTED CHANGING THE DEFINITIONS OF WHAT WAS ILLNESS? This may sound like a little thing, but it is really a big thing. It went from if you said you were another sex it was an illness, to not believing it is possible to be another sex it is an illness. This opened the floodgates to people “believing” they were another race, another ethnicity, another being (i.e. a cat), even another age (which is now being used as defense in a pedophilia case). Last year there was report of a woman who always wanted to blind. Rather than helping her, her therapist put Draino in her eyes, and now she is blind – because that’s what she wanted!
I have heard multiple people from communist countries say that is one way how the communists silence those who oppose them. (Jeff Kuhner says it often). They say they are mentally ill and forcibly put you away.
Does anyone know who started the infiltration of the psychiatric community?
How does it get made right?

The Rats aren’t bothered by the corruption because it benefits them. Were the tide to change and the Bureau to clean house and move back into the light the Rats would be trying to burn it down; they wallow in corruption themselves, their only complaint is when it doesn’t fit their needs.
Hoover made the Bureau his private Gestapo, keeping political files on major political figures and using them for leverage. Bobby Kennedy saw firsthand how Hoover used his weight and, when Hoover went to room temperature, took his cue as have subsequent Rats. Under Obama the Feds’ abilities to vacuum up data on anyone and everyone grew exponentially into an internal spy system that would make Himmler and Beria green with envy.

The kiddo went with me to the doctor on friday and the receptionist thought he was very cute. hHe e engaged her in conversation about all his little treasures from his pocket and he ended up with 2 colored paper clips and 2 pennies more(awesome). Well, she had him count all his things, 1 to 10, 11, 12, 14. He has a mental block for 13 you see. He talked for 10 minutes and even the patients listened. When asked who was on the penny, he very loudly and happily said, “President Trump!”
So I wonder, will he get some type of remembrance like money or statue?
And how much pocket trinkets should a 4 year old have before you have to stop? 😄

Ah. Get a pocket box and let him decorate it. Then when he comes home the trinkets have a place to go! My children each had one and it was a wonder seeing what they thought was precious enough to save. And now the grandchildren each have one.

The six year old granddaughter and I went ‘hunting’ at Thanksgiving and this is what she decided needed to be in her box. She’s a city kid – curious and smart, but had no idea what the moss was all about and at first refused to touch it. But when I said “It feels just like your brother’s head after a haircut” she decided it couldn’t be too bad. She touched it tentatively and then she giggled, got a big smile, and wanted to bring a piece home so he could feel it too. Ultimately, the moss didn’t go into the box….

“While the egg yolks cooled, he directed the beaters at the egg whites, setting the mixer on high speed that sent small bubbles giggling to the side of the bowl, where a few became many until they were a white froth rising up and then lying down again in patterns and ridges, leaving an intricate design like the ribs of a leaf in the wake of the beaters”

Facts about the State of the Union address:
Until 1934 it was delivered in December.
It was delivered in writing by all presidents from Jefferson until Coolidge.
Garfield & Harrison died before they could give one.
Carter delivered one with 33,667 words (fortunately in writing not live).
Clinton gave one that lasted one hour & twenty nine minutes.
Kennedy’s 1961 speech was the most alarming, stating it was “an hour of national peril” , “the American economy is in trouble”, “our cities are engulfed in squalor”, and “our supply of clean water is dwindling”.
I’ll bring the paper plates, cups & napkins. And sparklers!

Hillary’s ‘Sure’ Victory Explains Most Everything
Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/455885/expected-clinton-victory-explains-federal-employee-wrongdoing
The traditional way of looking at the developing scandals at the FBI and among holdover Obama appointees in the DOJ is that the bizarre atmospherics from candidate and President Trump have simply polarized everyone in Washington, and no one quite knows what is going on.
Another, more helpful, exegesis, however, is to understand that if we’d seen a Hillary Clinton victory in November 2016, which was supposed to be a sure thing, there would now be no scandals at all.
That is, the current players probably broke laws and committed ethical violations not just because they were assured there would be no consequences but also because they thought they’d be rewarded for their laxity.
On the eve of the election, the New York Times tracked various pollsters’ models that had assured readers that Trump’s odds of winning were respectively 15 percent, 8 percent, 2 percent, and less than 1 percent. Liberals howled heresy at fellow progressive poll guru Nate Silver shortly before the vote for daring to suggest that Trump had a 29 percent chance of winning the Electoral College…

Reflecting on the recent revelation that Obama had to have known Hillary was running a private email server because he had email exchanges with her at that email address, and surely the “smartest man in the world” would notice that the email address was not a “.gov” address, it occurred to me that if the president knew, then surely those who sent classified emails also knew.
Under what circumstances would an honest government agent send classified emails to an insecure email address? Are all those who sent classified emails to that email address felons? criminally negligent?

They knew they were breaking the law….so, yes…in general! What exactly they’d be charged with is the question. There has to be different degrees of culpability.
Hill’s direct underlings also knew the law was being broken and still refused to set her up properly and were curt, rude and adamant about it. I’d like to see them charged criminally.
Plea bargains will likely be accepted for the lot of them, however. They all deserve to be in the slammer, though.

I get so sick of rude people. The kids are both sick and I was watching them while my daughter ran to Dollar General to get a new thermometer and tylenol. She called me and said she was finally heading home, that it took her forever because she when she got to the checkout there was one line open and 5 people with full baskets ahead of her. Then while she was waiting in line one of them started backing up, so she moved over about 2 feet to give them room and an old lady with a basket full ran in front of her. She said she asked her, “are you seriously going to do that?” The old lady said, “you stepped out of line so now you need to get to the back of the line.” She said she told her fine I’m not the one who is going to have to answer to God for your behavior. The old lady said, “I don’t care what you think, just get out of the way.”
She said finally they came to open up another line and the old lady behind her with a basket full ran in front of her again almost hitting her with the basket.
She said what made her the most mad was that all she had in her hands was a thermometer and children’s tylenol which should have shown she had sick kids she needed to get back to. I told her she was getting soft, once upon a time she wouldn’t have been so nice.
She said they must have been the bra burners because both of them got into vehicles with both Obama and Hillary for President stickers.

My mom was in a nursing home for 7 years (She needed constant medical care we did not have the ability to provide). Those BBB’s – bra – burning – bitches will be the ones no one will visit, and the last ones to get their diapers changed! Karma’s a bitch too ya know!

You are so right. I was one of the youngest of a whole lot of kids for my mother, who had us all by choice. Each time she got pregnant her friends would roll their eyes and go on and on and on about the virtues of only having one or two kids or none and how they were so glad theirs are almost grown and now they have their own lives, blah, blah, blah.
Well, in my mother’s old age if any of those bitches got wind we were going to be visiting my mom with our children, they would rush over to visit. My mom finally told us to ignore them when they came over because they should have had more kids if they did not want to be alone in old age.
Funny thing is, my mom had ALL they had — job, social life, independence. She just had many kids thrown into the mix as well.

Very true! – “my mom had ALL they had — job, social life, independence.” From what I’ve seen in my life big families with children that were accepted as they came from God, even if not planned, are the happiest families.

So true. When I was newly married and under the influence of bra burners, I had a Sunday School assignment to ask elderly their greatest regret. Almost always those with one or two kids said they wished the had had mor children. I noted those that had a lot of munchkins did not say they wished they had had less kids. I tell you, that sure mad me rethink things and was the moment I saw the “movement” differently.

My granddaughter got sick over the weekend and went to the doctor yesterday, it’s just a viral infection. The doctor said a lot of kids are getting an ear infection with it, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

It sounds like your daughter didn’t fall far from the tree.
I was out with a friend a couple of days ago and a man was cursing like a sailor dropping the F bomb at a cashier, he had a child of maybe 9 with him. My friend walked up to him and told him that his language was unacceptable.
He told her that she was stupid if she did not understand that swearing got your point across better than nice words.
She repeated that his behavior and words were unacceptable around children and in a public place.
He told her again that she was stupid 😏but then he shut up and didn’t say another word.

I hate it when the grandbabies are sick. Thankfully, they don’t get sick often. Doctor said this particular virus as well as RSV is really bad right now. It looks like the little man is getting it worse than Gracie, she didn’t run the high fever he’s running. It always seems as if the kid who catches something from their sibling is always sicker.

I laughed to myself once in a mall when I saw a father begging his son to eat just a bite of his hamburger. To be honest, I think the child was holding this over his father’s head controlling him even though he was between one and two, I think. Anyway, I never, ever had to try to get my son to eat. You put the plate of food in front of him and watched it disappear. When he first insisted on using a spoon (and really wasn’t ready of course) we had to scoop food in his mouth between the bites he could get on his spoon.

No strep and no bacterial infection.
He’s still running a temp and has a sore throat. Nanny made him some homemade chicken and noodle soup and told him it would make him feel better. He ate quite a bit, more than he’s ate in a few days and said, “you’re right Nanny, my neck is all better, my knees are all better, my feet are all better, I’m all better everywhere.” lol

Question for anyone who can advise on this situation. I had a preliminary interview today and was told that as part of it, they’re going to call my former employers and talk with them about me. Here’s the problem: one office I worked at did not train me very well, but then they would get angry with me because I screwed something up. From the beginning their training was haphazard at best. They didn’t fire me, though; I resigned after a little more than a year there.
Should I contact the HR manager at the place I’ve applied to and talk to them about this? Or just let it be? I know this office gave someone else who’d been in my position a pretty rotten review once before and it may have cost them a job they applied at.
I’m not sure what to do.

Chances are the HR Dept at your former employer will be careful what they say about you. If they are professional, they will stick to attendance, etc.

They were small enough they didn’t have a regular HR department, though. That’s what worries me.

I would let it be. The company will contact them anyway, so why call attention to a potential negative?

No advice. But will share that a son of mine got a bad review from an employer but the complaints were too general and did not match what the other employers said about him and the company hired him. We knew it was a bad reference as another son was working there still and heard it.
An astute person will ask the negative employer questions like, “Was this included in any of his reviews?” “How did he respond?” “Was there a change in performance?” “You say no change; did you write him up again? No?” At about this point the calle starts to not take the complaints too seriously, figuring there were sour grapes that you quit. OK. Maybe, I will give advice. Do NOT contact the old employer at all. Trying to damage control will just make it look bad and refresh HR memories or cause them to go find out what happened as NOT in your employee HR file. MOST companies will not say anything negative unless in an actual review signed off by the employee as they don’t want liability for you not getting the new job. If not documentated it is too big of a risk to say anything.

Thank you, stella and facebkwallflower. I will let it go.
The office never had me sign off on anything that I can remember. I will admit that if I had been a little wiser when I worked there, and known a little more, I would have never stayed as long as I did.

It’s my understanding that over 95% of the time when a former employee is contacted by a interested employer the answer is “So and so was in our employ from June 3rd 2017 through December 2nd 2017.” they may say something about documented tardiness or absences but it is not likely.
Anything negative the potential employee may sue their former employer for hindering their income (no employer wants the hassle of a lawsuit) a positive review and the new employer may sue the old employer if the person ends up damaging or bringing harm to the company which asked for the reference and hired the employee on the positive review.
In other words lawsuits have rendered employer references moot.
So rest easy on this one 🙂 .

Trump lawyers say ‘high threshold’ for Robert Mueller interview not met
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jan/30/trump-lawyers-say-high-threshold-robert-mueller-in/
President Trump’s attorneys are reportedly resisting requests by special counsel Robert Mueller to interview the president personally.
Citing “sources familiar with the ongoing deliberations,” CNN reported that Mr. Trump’s legal team is arguing that the investigation has not met the “high threshold” required for a legal action involving a sitting president — who is the enforcer of the nation’s laws and technically the boss of whoever would be interviewing him.
