Beautiful yet, to me, a barren looking place. You know, I’ve never thought about the fact that it snows in Scotland. Now I am aware that all of the scenes I recall in “Outlander” apparently take place in one of the other seasons!!!
Good morning, Lucille!

Thanks, lovely! It snowed during the night and we’ve got another inch and right now I looked outside and the day is getting more white stuff. Pretty to look at.
Of course the second I wrote “pretty to look at” I thought of….

This is the dancing I like to watch. I like Dancing with the Stars, but the gyrations, and wallowing on each other, while the women are wearing what looks like something that should only be worn in the bedroom and barely covers them, I find somewhat distasteful.

Aus, did I tell you that I watched the Elizabeth Smart story? It was very good. I was really impressed with her thought process and emotional maturity throughout the ordeal. I felts bad for her that she didn’t get away sooner. Her youth in that way worked against her. Imagine if the officer in the library had back demanded that she reveal her face. So many opportunities.
She is really together and in such a healthy place, beautiful soul.

Yes, it about broke my heart that she didn’t get away sooner. But, the thought I had when I watched the show was, that I would like to grow up to be just like her. I couldn’t have more respect for a young woman.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes. She is so poised and in control and not beholden by what other people think or even by what Brian Mitchell and Wanda did to her. they are evil people, she did nothing wrong and she has the scars but no ownership of something that is not hers which is as it should be. And the strength of her love for her family and her family for her made my heart swell with joy for them all.

I have the sweetest little Christmas visitor. We have basic stucco support columns at the front door with just a couple inches extended for design that I wrap Christmas lights on. Right now, lights are on and there is a sparrow sleeping on a ledge. Im just going to leave the lights on and keep the little guy warm, its only a couple short strands really. I think hes been there since I put the lights up. Kind of a funny place but safe and sheltered. Something sweet to think about as I go to sleep. Goodnight!

Well i have kept food out routinely until april. Once my cat died, we started having a problem with rats. Apparently my whole area. Not sure why the population has boomed, so I cant put seeds out. We had regular birds, blue jays, dives, finches, sparrows, mockingbirds, hummers too. Real sad about it.

This Day in History: The Wright Brothers’ historic flight at Kitty Hawk
On this day in 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright make the first sustained, powered flight of a heavier-than-air machine under the complete control of the pilot.
You might know the headline about their history-making flight at Kitty Hawk, but do you know the rest of their story? The Wright brothers’ story is a wonderful example of the entrepreneurial spirit that has made America great!
The brothers’ interest in aviation started early. Their father once gave them a rubber-band powered helicopter toy, and they spent hours examining it. The brothers studied its mechanics and soon figured out how to make their own copies. This method of self-study would serve them well in future years, because they never completed their formal education. As adults, they owned a bicycle and repair shop, but they used the repair rooms at the back of the shop to experiment with flight. They wrote the Smithsonian, asking for books. They observed flight in nature. For instance, they watched buzzards, which convinced them that it “is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill…
http://www.taraross.com/2017/12/this-day-in-history-kitty-hawk/
My mother was born three years later. She always said that she was born with the horse and buggy, and lived to see men fly to the moon.

I’ve always been fascinated by their story. My whole life I’ve been told a relative on my grandfather’s side assisted Wilbur and Orville at Kitty Hawk. I don’t know if there’s any truth to it, but it’s fun to ponder. 😊

I don’t know. There is a lot of nonsense on Twitter and Gab. Thomas likes to block people so they know they are blocked, Gab just has a mute button (I think), not sure his personality quirks would allow him to put up with not being able to shove a jerks face into a block.
He also despises his understanding of the alt-right and has a special disdain for bellyachers, know-it-alls, posers and President Trump second guessers.
I don’t read a lot at Gab but a lot of folks seem to think that they are smarter than President Trump and that if only Trump would read their great insight and information that the Republic would be saved. Thomas feels about those people the same way I do, they should keep their fingers still and let the net think them an idiot rather than tap away and remove all doubt. Twitter has just as many nutters and more liberals but at least you can just block them.
Something spot on that Thomas tweeted is that as soon as he finds out that someone does not see the genius of Trump he really just doesn’t want to engage in any type of conversation with them.
We’ll see what Twitter does at midnight, likely oodles of accounts are going down.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Well, I’ve been on Twitter today and there are people get kicked off. Mine is okay, but I don’t get confrontational. Gab is soooo slow today. Maybe because of the folks migrating over. We will see. I enjoy reading Wictor. He’s a very intelligent and fascinating guy. Hope there will still be plenty of folks on Twitter for him to share his wisdom with. 😊

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
