I have always thought that naming a nice doggie a “Shih Tzu” was unfortunate, sorta like naming a tasty mushroom a “shiitake”…

Dogs thanked for friendship and loyalty

A special festival celebrates the love of dogs. In Nepal, Hindus celebrate Diwali, a festival of lights celebrated by millions every year in the fall in India, Nepal and elsewhere. Specific to Nepal’s parties, though, is a day dedicated to dogs, called Kukur Tihar.

red velvet mix has max of 2 1/2 tbs of unsweetened coco powder in it…the powder is toxic for sure, but that is not a huge amount given the appearance that he spilled as much as he ate…

Very small amounts of cocoa powder may be part of various doggie-specific snacks. In these tiny amounts it is unlikely to cause distress, though you probably don’t want to give your dog the whole bag at once.

Thought I’d sleep in a bit today…dogs thought otherwise. Within minutes of Czarina leaving they’d opened the gate to the bedroom and all four dogs were up on the bed, dashing my sleep plans. Soon as I’m up and moving all four find comfy spots and they’re back asleep. Cats are shaking their heads, wondering how I fell for that.
