Big day today, Czarina’s birthday…..her 39th….ask her. Also getting my state-of-the-art bluetooth connected hearing aids from the VA. As much as I rag on therm they do have an excellent audiology service, ASHA stays on top of them. So, I will now be able to tell where that gunshot came from. The aids also have a connector that bluetooths them to my entertainment system (you know, what we used to call a TV and stereo). Downside is I have no excuse anymore for ignoring Czarina.

BTW, noticed we’re days away from Thanksgiving but there are already ‘BUY ME FOR CHRISTMAS’ ads on TV (you know, the entertainment system).

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5043497/Deadly-airborne-plague-cases-rocket-40.html

The plague has been freed to roam in Madagascar, nearby countries, and via any plane boarded by a participant.

Not trying to be funny. This is not funny at all.

A childhood friend of ours (my siblings and I) has spent her lifetime in Madagascar, now in her mid-70s, as a missionary nurse, and in recent years a training and educational medical resource for the Malagasy medical infrastructure (such as it is).

Training medical persons in Madagascar (in my words, based on her reported experiences) is kind of like mopping the floor while the faucet is still wide open. Nothing sticks. There is no cumulative (generation to generation) understanding or learning. It’s just like pouring money into a losing gambling operation, down and including the wisdom of having hands sanitized when touching patients, changing bandages, etc. It’s cultural and endless.

So this news of practiced personal carelessness and refusal to cooperate with good personal or professional practices is a serious indicator.

    Stop all immigration yesterday.

I am now completely serious with regard to that.

Mr. President said (months ago) that he was going to stop Moslem migration to the United States until they could figure out what’s going on. As I understand it, Moslems are still coming in and the problem/consequences across the board are continuing and multi8plying.

Stop ALL immigration. Our survival is at stake.

So now I sound like Alex Whatizname.

    Oh well.

I’ve already starting putting my Christmas decorations up. Our Heavenly Father and the Incarnate Christ and the present Holy Spirit are the ONLY persons in this world who can be depended on with full weight at all times.

Here’s one caption/note under a picture included in the article – this will give you an idea of the prevalent culture.

“Officials in Madagascar have warned residents not to exhume bodies of dead loved ones and dance with them because the bizarre ritual can cause outbreaks of plague.”

An article I linked the other day pointed out that this warning is being ignored, because it’s really important to them to dance with their dead relatives.

This is what my friend talked about when she stayed with us in MN for a bit – even though there IS a government-provided medical care infrastructure, they will not accept treatment. Going to the hospital equals “dying” in their understanding – and that is not primarily because of no effective hospitals on site: this is what she has been doing for over 50 years – working with and within that hospital infrastructure, but it doesn’t matter. They just don’t catch on.

Ya know, folks, there are some of us who keep up, after retirement, on our shots we had in the military. You may have to dig a bit but you can buy shots for things like plague at places that do travel immunizations – like your public health office. Feel queazy and need justification? Go to CDC and find a country that has the disease listed you want to be vaccinated for and tell your vaccinator that you’re going on vacay there.
While you’re at it you can look on the CDC site to see if there are any cases of plague in the US, it’s endemic in some areas of the US thanks to pesky rodents. It’s here, it’s there, it’s everywhere, so beware.

    • How many people from Madagascar are going to be allowed into Japan? Poland?

None. Those nations are nations. With all that entails. Real nations have, and exercise, the right to self-determination.

We’re not currently a real nation. Our soil belongs to everyone on earth who manages to get here. Our nation has no self-determination any more. We will be made something, by people who come here, and actually procreate and replace us. Chinese, in the end? Mexican, Muslim, BLM… China will exterminate all of them, post haste, easily.

I hope Poles and Japanese are reproducing really fast right now, since we aren’t.

I also hope that Christianity in China takes hold like their nationalism has. It seems to be doing so. And that’s a lotta people, and that’s a lotta Christians.

Funny how Poland, Japan, and China don’t have much interracial violence at all.

There must be a reason. If only the brightest minds in the world would figure it out.

Thank you for the link and the points made, lovely.

No, we do not live in a rational world. While I have been aware of that for decades, I am finding that it is not a simple matter to endure the consequences of living in an irrational world.

I often use the phrase, “It is what it is” – and am a proponent of acknowledging reality for what it is and, as a result, flee for refuge to the infinite mercy of our All-Knowing Sovereign God.

I only disagree with Peter Sweden in this – when he says “….this cannot go on….”

Peter, it can “go on”, as it has for years and years, cumulatively destroying our formerly freedom-loving nations.

It makes me crazy when people in the CTH threads say, “This has to stop. This must stop. Somebody has to do something.”

    No. No. And no.

It is not inevitable that this ship will right itself.

It also irritates me when commenters speak of promises made to Israel, with regard to Israel’s preservation and deliverance as though those promises were made to the United States. Oh, well. Biblical illiteracy is a common thread in America’s self-identified Christians.

Peter Sweden is very good…I’m still listening as I type this comment…..and I LOVE LOVE LOVE his pronunciation of bom-bings!!!! My grandparents were all Danish. My husband’s parents/grandparents were Norwegian and Swedish – and I can hear their sweet voices!!!

It is not inevitable that this ship will right itself.

      I agree.

Islamic playgrounds in Germany, Mosque’s all over the world, MSM worries more about Islamophobia than terrorists attacks, Gays for Islam, people chastised during a live attack by Islamic terrorist for saying something negative about Muslims, according to Sharia law when a Muslim steps foot on a land that land belongs to Allah and still many bring them here with open arms.

There is a reason the third world countries are still third world countries and it is not because they don’t have Dasani water pouring out of their taps it is because they are regressive, ignorant, backward cultures resistant to knowledge, change and reason.

PS I love Peter Sweden but I fear for his life.

    • When I hear someone say “It is what it is” I say:

“Well, it’s gotta be! It can’t be what it ain’t! Logic 101, people!”

And yes, Biblical illiteracy is a huge, mountainous wall to overcome. It seems impossible. I have two very intelligent co-workers who have told me “stuff” they KNOW, ABSOLUTELY KNOW is in the Bible. It’s not. None of what they told me. They are adamant about it. I asked them “What version?” They didn’t even understand that question. After silence, I said “KJV 1611? New American Standard? NIV? NASB 95? The Message? New World Translation? Douay-Rheims? The Septuagent AKA LXX? ”

They don’t even understand that initial question. It is a depth of ignorance that is hard, nigh on impossible, to overcome when speaking to these people.

It’s like trying to debate a person about Islam and they’ve never even heard the words “Taqiyya” or “Dawa” or “Jizya”. The basics. Like debating a person about home construction and having to explain to them what a tape measure is.

Ignorance is not easy to fix, hard as we may try. Most times I don’t, any more, with words.

“Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words.” — St. Francis

Singer Asks White Audience Members To Go To The Back Of the Audience. Then This Happens.

    http://www.dailywire.com/news/23046/singer-asks-white-audience-members-go-back-hank-berrien

Speaking of a post-reason world, a racist woman demanded that all white people go to the back and all people of color come to the front of the venue for her concert.

Apparently she does this at all her concerts.

Several white people refused to lose their spots which they arrived early enough to get. One whitey in particular was there as an employee of the venue to photograph the concert.

The venue hearing of what happened said that they would not tolerate such “aggressive and overt racism.”

Now you may be thinking that the venue owner was talking about the racist concert performer who told whitey to go to the back of the venue and the brownies to come forward. You would be wrong. The whitey was fired for her “aggressive and overt racism” when she refused the demand of the racist performer.

The venue meanwhile is crying, begging for forgiveness and pleading with the racist to return to their venue.

    Sick mad times.

Wall Street Journal asks, “Does capitalism needs [sic] individualism?”

Saw it in the print edition, but here’s the on-line version, behind a paywall, but you don’t need to read it for what I have to say.

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/what-500-years-of-protestantism-teaches-us-about-capitalisms-future-1509649297

“Thou shalt not steal” implies personal ownership. That and Liberty, which is inextricably entwined with individualism, are the foundation for capitalism.

However, an individual corporate body (a government or corporation) may also engage in capitalism.

The article questions how much China will prosper if it quashes individualism, printing a chart showing that countries with more individualism prosper more.

Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

And, Lord, we pray for all the people who have been affected by the earthquakes and hurricanes.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
