I’ve seen this posted. I’m not convinced that it is real other than the sheer stupidity of the idea giving credence to it being a SJW idea.
Here is their problem, who are they going to attack? If they’re all wearing Trump paraphernalia how will they know a real President Trump supporter from a brother in arms on the street?
If they attack white people, even those not wearing anything related to President Trump it kind of wrecks their narrative of all Trump supporters being white supremacists, if they attack black people and are arrested, (and arrested they will be if the are wearing President Trump stuff) then a quick perusal of their social media will reveal them as Antifa.
Same thing for breaking windows and destroying property, if they are wearing anything that supports America their day will end like this and their true identities will be revealed.
Silly SJW.
Stay locked and loaded Nov. 4th folks or just in case always.

Vox Day has written two best-sellers on Amazon in his trilogy.
The Left is, right now, writing the third book for him. SJWs Always Project is the third rule.
His first two, SJWs Always Lie and SJWs Always Double Down are bestsellers in several categories at Amazon. He doesn’t even have to write the third book, really. They’re writing it for him. It should be several inches thicker than the first two books combined.
Christians are pedos and womanizers! (SJWs always project. Harvey Weinstein et many al.)
Trump is in bed with the Russian government! (SJWs always project. Hi, Hillary! Hi, Barack!)
If I woke up this morning and read in the news that Republicans were engaging in cannibalism, I would immediately recoil and think, “OMG, the Left is eating people!”

I love that both she and the president are interacting with so many people, especially young children and showing them that they are not the monsters that the MSM and some of their parents have portrayed them to be.

Excellent, apropos quote, Lovely.
Our First Family is a far cry from their predecessors.
There is not a normal family in America that would not have the Trumps at their dinner table, sharing laughter. They may be billionaires, but there is also not a normal family in America whose dinner table the Trumps would not gladly sit down and commune.
The Obamas were above all that, and it showed. They were royalty, in their minds.

If Trump and his First Lady came to dine at our restaurant, I have no doubt that they would treat the staff and the other customers like royalty, making them all feel great about their jobs. It’s how they roll.
If Obama and Michelle came to dine at our restaurant, (or most Dems and Reps in Congress, for that matter) I have no doubt that they would expect to be treated like royalty, and that they would treat our staff and the other customers like inferior peons, to the extreme, and that several of our waitstaff would go home crying.
I hope I get to shake his hand some day. I’ve never said that about a President since I’ve been alive. Not even Reagan, whose Hollywood flaws and historical ignorance I cannot forgive. Not after Beiruit.

Exactly right. Children are punishments according to Barack and if they survive an abortion attempt they should be left to die on a steel shelf.
If the baby should survive the pregnancy then the child must be taught that everything good his or her parents represent should be rebelled against and hated.

Planned Parenthood “We help with antibiotic prescriptions, that is not an abortion.”
Normal person “The prescription was written so that the young women who brought her baby in for slaughter doesn’t get an infection after you killed her baby.”

Geez, and on the other hand their government’s trying to shore up their falling birthrate through immigration. Projections are that the Great White North will eventually become the Great Other-Than-White North if the present death/birth/immigration trends continue. Ah well, it’s only important that the country endures, not necessarily a civilized country.
Then again Global Warming may just be terrorforming the country to a more Moslem-hospitable clime.

Good day, WeeWeed! Here’s what’s rumored to be a copy found in the DNC files (along with the “dossier”) of a Vladimir Putin street poster which was inspired by a Vladimir Lenin pose. It’s also rumored that Hill was planning a beautiful 24k-gold-leaf-clad frame appropriate for the poster to hang in place of the George Washington painting in the Oval Office.
Debbie W-S denies any knowledge of the plan, but a lip print of hers was apparently found on Putin’s visage, and a bill from a prestigious WDC gallery was located on her laptop indicating they only had 10k available. Very suspicious.
Of course this is every bit as ludicrous as Christopher Steele’s claim that Donald Trump hired ladies of the evening to tinkle on a hotel bed.

Me either, Menagerie. I prefer a nice, giant tower PC, Windows 10, and a 37″ screen a foot or so away from my face, and a real keyboard and mouse. As buggy as WordPress, and the rest of the internet is, my setup at least levels the playing field somewhat. It’s like the internet folks are in a fight with us. If I can type a whole comment in WordPress, without the cursor saying, “No. I will not type. You must wait a few minutes while I figure our what you just typed on the keyboard and then I will type. I win.”
24 Gigabytes and a Quad-core processor, and WP won’t let me type. Sometimes. Other times I type, and what I type shows up on screen in an actual jiffy. You just never know with WordPress. It’s haunted, buggy, or hacked. Pick one. I can’t imagine using a tablet, IPad, or phone to post comments. I would probably break something.
Kudos to anyone who can use this platform with a tablet or mobile. You are, by far, a stronger, more patient person than I.

I’m thinking of doing a post on forgiveness. Anyone have any stories or recommended sources? If you have personal anecdotes or stories, please indicate to me whether you’d mind if I used them in the post, attributed to you. If you have something you’d be willing to share anonymously you could email me at the Treehouse address.
This isn’t a whim post like I usually do. I know some people who really need help right now.
If you don’t have stories, throw out a prayer or two that I can find a way to help them. Thanks!

Ach!
What is the issue that they cannot forgive? That might help me with suggestions.
Forgiveness is really hard. Usually I have to stew in my anger for awhile until God gets a hold of me. But having done that before, it’s toxic and destructive. I can’t recommend it, but I know how hard it is to get over it.

Menagerie, I sure don’t know where it was – back in 2015 or some time probably, even earlier – but there was a point in The Chapel where we had discussion about that. One of the points I found myself making (which I consider really important) is that the person who has been wounded/violated/mistreated/lied to/whatever needs to understand that forgiveness does not inherently require restoration of relationship.
I have forgiven, long ago, the specific and numerous violent and ugly things an ex-daughter-in-law did to me personally and to our family. Some of them indirectly life-threatening. I would have found it far more confusing and difficult to choose to forgive her if I had believed that forgiving meant I had to “trust her again” or resume an open and vulnerable relationship with her.
There is a most unfortunate linkage that has been perpetrated with regard to that over the decades and it has caused serious damage and false guilt for many people of faith. That kind of twist can be very damaging.
Both repentance and forgiveness (separately) are very confused and mis-understood (and therefore often mis-experienced) things.
If you do such a post, the comments thread that follows will reveal the illustrte of the problem. Which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. Not at all. Breaks my heart.
Whenever these things come up in personal relationships for me – where someone is seriously interested in pursuing in-depth understanding with integrity, I know we are in for a long (and many….) conversation(s).

Forgiveness is for the forgiver not the forgiven. That is between God and the forgiven.
Simple truth.
There was a point in my life when I was very sick, the good doc thought I might not make it. I had at that point been Catholic for about 3 years, I decided to call 2 people who had harmed me and ask for their forgiveness for anything that I may had done wrong to them in my life and I also told them that I forgave them for anything that they may have done wrong to me.
They sniffed and said we didn’t do anything wrong so we don’t need your forgiveness.
That was a turning point in my life, I experienced the true freedom of forgiving someone who harmed me and then immediately dismissed me again after I forgave them. It is a moment in time, a snapshot of choice, my heart broke for them in that moment, that they could not or would not take any responsibility for their life choices. In that breaking of my heart came a freedom, a freedom in knowing that I was free of trying to figure out the “why” of them harming me. It didn’t matter, they were them and I was me. I would not trade that for the world.
People cause harm, people betray, they hurt, they hate, they hit, when we are able it is our responsibility to get away from those people. People cause damage to our hearts, minds, bodies and souls.
We live in a fallen world.
The harm caused by dwelling on the harm, on the wrong, is the irreparable harm we cause our own minds and souls and in that lies the true danger of hanging on instead of letting go.
Letting go, forgiving changes your life, you take back power and brain space that you have given to the very person who has already taken too much of you.
As Sharon said forgiving doesn’t mean allowing the toxic person to be part of our life it means removing the hold they have on our way of living.
Something my godfather taught me to do was to pray for a blessing for people who I found hard to forgive. As a weak person that was difficult, me …What if they win the Lotto? My wise godfather said “You have such a small mind sometimes. Ask for God’s blessing upon them.
What takes root in our spirit grows within our soul and takes dominance over our very lives.
Heard. As Wooly would say.

Yes – the content of my act of forgiving includes the understanding that I will no longer hold that person accountable to ME. I release them from my laws, my expectation of restoration, and in so doing, cut the link. Drives them crazy, by the way, if they are a person who thrives on conflicts and the adrenaline rush that results.
Another issue that comes up in conversations about forgiveness is this: it’s not unusual to discover (and have it acknowledged) that the declared problem, “It’s SO hard to forgive!” actually is not the problem. The actual problem is that there has been no decision to forgive. It’s sort of a conversation stopper of course, when someone is whining about how hard it is to forgive and someone asks, “Have you decided to for them yet?” I find that when I have decided to forgive, the act of forgiving is spiritually-natural.
I remember when a friend expressed to me with deep anger and resentment how she felt about her husband’s repentance after he had committed adultery. Over tested times, months of solid confrontation with trusted counselor, the man walked out clean, having repented, haven taken responsibility, having chosen to endure consequences with no whining about it being unfair (which was correct, since they were HIS consequences). The wife was TICKED, to say the least, also claiming standing as a Christian.
She just exploded at me in saying, “It’s not FAIR! He can just go on now as though he never sinned.” What really ticked her off was that he was obviously at peace within himself even as he worked hard to restored what he could in terms of family heealth, etc and taking responsibility for things that couldn’t be so easily repaired.
I finally busted out laughing and said, “Good grief! What do you think actual forgiveness from God and genuine repentance IS???? You think it’s supposed to keep a person’s life hostage for the rest of their lives?” Why, yes. That’s what she expected. She said she was willing to forgive him but it really ticked her off when he also sought forgiveness from God and was at peace within himself, having been made clean in spirit.
The thinking of individuals about these things is often very, very brittle with little actual tires-on-the-road experience. They use the words and think they know what they mean, but when push comes to shove, it interesting to learn by observing what their actual expectations and intentions were.

I encountered something like this with my ex-husband, when I contacted him years after we had parted. He had joined a 12-step program and stopped drinking. As part of that program, he asked for my forgiveness. I told him that I had forgiven him years before (not forgiving is corrosive to the victim, I have found). He didn’t like the fact that I was no longer injured. That was obvious.

Exactly, forgiveness with expectations is a conditional forgiveness. A waste of time.

Good Morning and thanks, Nyet for another lovely feast. I’m off for my after breakfast cuppa….
“It is a perfect food, as wholesome as delicious, a beneficient restorer of exhausted power; but its quality must be good and it must be carefully prepared. It is highly nourishing and easily digested, and is fitted to repair wasted strength, preserve health, and prolong life. It agrees with dry temperaments and convalescents; with mothers who nurse their children; with those whose occupations oblige them to undergo severe mental strains; with public speakers, and with all those who give to work a portion of the time needed for sleep. It soothes both stomach and brain, and for this reason, as well as for others, it is the best friend of those engaged in literary pursuits.” ~Baron von Liebig
What is this superfood? What could be so good? (hint….it’s not bacon, but comes in at a close second…..)
“After a good, complete, and copious breakfast, if we take, in addition, a cup of well-made chocolate, digestion will be perfectly accomplished in three hours, and we may dine whenever we like. Out of zeal for science, and by dint of eloquence, I have induced many ladies to try this experiment. They all declared, in the beginning, that it would kill them; but they have all thriven on it and have not failed to glorify their teacher.” ~ M. Brillat-Savarin

Mornin All ! Will have to run out the door soon to go to Dad’s for his B-day, so here is today’s painting. It’s a fun one! Enjoy 🙂
Iris Scott (b.1984) is a finger painting artist based in New York City, Brooklyn. Iris grew up in the Pacific Northwest Rainforest near Seattle and spent her childhood playing in and exploring the craggy, untamed terrain. Sometimes, accidents can be a blessing. Scott discovered this in 2009 when she found herself without a clean brush to touch up a painting and ended up using her fingers to get the job done. She learned that she was able to create beautiful impressionistic paintings with her fingers, in a way she never could before, and fell in love with it. With surgical gloves and paint as her only tools, Scott now paints exclusively with her fingers; she has never picked up a brush since. Her color-saturated canvases of thick oil paint capture shaking wet dogs, dreamy urban cityscapes, and serene outdoor scenes. She often incorporates over 100 different oil colors into a single scene. Her series of shaking wet dogs captured the attention of art collectors worldwide. Her book Finger Painting Weekend Workshop hit stores in 2016, and guides people of all levels through Impressionistic finger painting.
Have a great day!

Wow! A finger painting that isn’t 1) done by a preschooler, and 2) done by some lunatic who calls themselves an artists and charges lots of money for splotches of color on paper that I could have paid the preschooler to do!
She is super talented!

An odd one for Joe. Has that Chris Isaac or Mark Knopfler feel to it.
I expect Bonamassa will keep evolving, though.

That Chris Rea feel, too.

Look at the praise Chris Rea and Joe Bonamassa get on their YouTube channels. Ask your local radio stations why they’re still playing Phil Collins and Eagles from the 80s.
Ask anyone on the street, and they’re like “Music sucks now.” No it doesn’t. All your radio stations are showing you is the crap. On purpose.
We’re in a music renaissance right now, in the West. Radio refuses to figure it out. “Let’s play that Zeppelin tune we played yesterday, and the day before, and for all time since it was written! People love that one!”
I wish all the radio station owners in America had one collective neck. It would make my sick fantasy a whole lot easier. Oh well. Let’s listen to Hotel California again. For the third time in 24 hours. Or some stupid pop song that they have beaten into the mantle of the earth for the last year. People actually think there’s no innovation in music lately! I wonder why they think that? Oh, because they haven’t tossed their TV into the dumpster yet.
Give me control over a radio station, for one day, and I will rule America’s airwaves.
All the advertisers will call the station owner and say, “Keep him. Let him do what he does.”
And the Classic Rock Innovators? Goodbye. Won’t be playing The Who. Ever. Hotel California will never travel my airwaves, except maybe the acoustic live version, once a year or so. Certainly not every single day for 40 years straight.
I could RUIN radio. What radio station in America plays Susan Tedeschi or Joe Bonamassa? NONE. There exists a vacuum of epic proportions regarding broadcast music in this nation. And we are in a music renaissance, at that.

I agree about Chris Rhea. I first heard him in the UK. His songs are haunting! Bonamassa has about the best blues guitar there is. He’s right up there with Clapton.

Even the US Army got converged by SJWs.
Never mind the Boy Scouts, or Comics, or Videogames. Even the Army.
Converged = Taken.

I wonder when they had the soldiers sign that nondisclosure agreement, if it was before they traded for him or after Obama made an ass of himself in the Rose Garden?

I am watching Air Force play Colorado State (I guess it is). They didn’t show the playing of the National Anthem. They talked about a previous game all the way through it. Guess they are just trying to avoid trouble. But, I miss seeing it when the service academies play.

Afternoon all!!! Big day here in North Texas for me, hubby, and younger DD. We met Kris “Tanto” Paronto and Dave “Boon” Benton, two of the heroes of Benghazi and had our pictures taken with them and got books signed by them. It was very surreal and pretty amazing to be with them, even though it was only for about ten minutes or so. DH trained last night with them and has another training class with them tomorrow. They are so down to earth and just really awesome people. I’m still kind of in awe that it happened. Anyway, I think DH is going to go to another training in January with them. What a great opportunity to get professional training, from really brave patriots, it’s something DH will never forget.

Someone needs to save this! I don’t know how. Kathy Griffith goes on a rant that will ruin what little career she has left! She sounds like Hitlary trying to blame everyone for her own doings!

BEWARE! Naughty words (typical of her). She needs to get a new make-up artist as well. I think this is the same outfit she wore when she did the photos of her beheading our President.

I just watched it and was going to post it.
Hear are my thoughts.
Kathy Griffin just lost her sister to cancer one would hope she would have something better to do than whatever you want to call this mess.
She looks terrible, I wonder if she is sick. She criticizes Harvey Levin saying she has been an advocate of the LBGT community but Harvey is gay, basically Harvey isn’t the “right kind of gay” according to Kathy, it’s kind of like Ben Carson isn’t really black.
Money, money, money. So very bitter. So very liberal.
^^ The above was written while I’m listening to Griffin, she said at one point Harvey speaks with President Trump several times a week and then at the 10:55 mark she says “The idea that Harvey Levin has like a vault in back with all kinds of servers and dirt on everybody, like that’s what you do dude?”
😎 Heh, heh, heh.
Wow, all this because Harvey had the audacity to call and leave this weirdo a benign message.
Kathy is afraid if she leaves the country she won’t be able to get back in. Adios Madam bitter, angry shrew.
Paranoia seems to be trapped between her ears.
I think she is like a mini Hillary.
Just wow.

I agree, Lovely. She is in Australia at the moment, but she sounds like she has gone off of the deep end! Going after Harvey Levin and Andy Cohen (especially if she is incorrect) is a real no no. You just don’t crap in your own nest and expect people to be happy about it. What she did to our President was bad, but now she has taken it even further. I think Harvey’s message really was innocuous, and she is just paranoid!

It would be hard to find a less innocuous message. “Hi Kathy this is Harvey Levin, if you have a minute give me a call.” Not verbatim but close. And Kathy goes so far off the deep end there is no swimming back to the shore.

God help her, she’s drowning. At least they have really good lifeguards in Australia! I really can’t help but feel pity for her. I hope things will turn around for her, but she’s really not helping herself.

lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
And, Lord, we pray for all the people who have been affected by the earthquakes and hurricanes.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
