On a less ‘ick’ topick, two of the cats spent a wonderful afternoon running up and down the oak tree in the back yard. Seems cool weather agrees with them…other outside cat spent much of the day asleep in the cooler fall sunlight, splayed across the truck’s roof. Maybe I’ll be lucky and come back as a cat in my next life.

LOL! I love captioning photos!
Among the countless ways a person can waste time in the office…my friends and I used to send decorating magazines and paperback photo books on various subjects through the inter-office mail…we’d caption the photos, and make comments on what we liked in the decorated rooms, and then pass the mags and books on to the next person.
One photo book I sent around was about cats…there was a ground-level group shot with a single leader out front. I remember captioning it…”When you’re a Jet, you’re a Jet all the way….”

Our Russian Blue gets slimed unmercifully with dog spit. Two of the dogs will mouth-play with her. ‘flea’ her, just leave her fur punked up and crunchy and she’ll come back for more. All of the cats will play with the dogs, the outside ones will play chase and hide-and-seek, and none of them grew up together. Except for the twp terriorists all were adults when they met, alljust came to accept each other – not an Antifa in the bunch.

Every morning I wake up to two starving dogs, first I pick up the pee pad from Iggy, then I clean that area of the floor, then as they are trying to trip me I take the non Iggy out, then Iggy if I am up to collaring her, then I come inside and they are at the stage of extreme starving and need fresh water because the water from yesterday is somehow not up to their standards, then I feed them, time to go out again, and only then can I make my tea. 🙂 . Life is good.

Now that Boo is free to wander around the house during certain parts of the day, he is in the process of figuring it out and getting used to all of the sights and sounds in a house. He discovered the rotating mouse cat toy and played with it for hours.
